Often wide shoes aren't just wide in the toe box, they are wide in the heel leading to a lot of frustration. These ones, whole not marked wide, have some give in the front and the elastic in the back keeps my heel from popping out. Cute and not too "economical" looking.

The first time I wore them it was ALL DAY and never once thought about my feel. They're very lightweight and comfy. Maybe not super duper sexy looking, but for me when I need to wear heels, i'd rather be comfortable and not worry about pain or discomfort. Worth every penny.

I’m having foot problems and my feet are very tender, but I needed a dressy shoe to wear with my dresses. Ok, there not the sexiest looking shoes but they’re the most comfortable! The shoes have a low wedge height and the body of the shoe has some kind of stretchy fabric which is great since my feet lately have been swelling when I walk. The back of the heal is wrapped with a nice leather or leatherette material which gives it a nice classy looking pump style. One more thing, ordering from Zappos is the best!
