I am guessing 2 inches- I would go to the aerosoles website to get more details- zappos has really scaled back on giving detailed information on their shoes-unfortunately. n

The quality of the materials of the Betsy was top notch. It is so difficult to find shoes made of quality leather. These were. I ordered 3 pairs; suede, leopard & leather. I loved the look of all three pairs. The problem was how the shoes are made. They ran short and were narrow across the baby toe area. I ordered medium & wide. A better description of the width of both would be fat. My foot was like an island in these shoes. The only place my foot touched the shoe was inside my big toe because the shoes ran short & my baby toe because the shoes were narrow.

I was looking to buy a pair of comfortable heels I could wear to a conference. As someone with wide feet, I was pleasantly surprised about the fit - this is the first time in years where I've been able to buy my true size (7.5) after choosing the "wide" option. Usually I have to size up to 8 or 8.5 to accommodate my feet width. I tested them out by walking around in my apartment for 2 days. I'm very surprised and happy at how comfortable these are. I tried putting in cushioning pads at the ball of the foot but found that the shoes were actually more comfortable without them. The only con I can think of is that they are not as "stylish", since they have a block heel and aren't as flashy as some stilettos but they are still very professional-looking and they are now part of my "professional wear" outfits. I'm very pleased with this purchase.
