I adore this shoe so much that even though there were 2 problems I am still going to keep them. Problem #1 - I have arches and the arch support in these is not much. Problem solved - I just added arch supports. Problem #2; the heel is cheap, hollow plastic (why?) and the bottom of one of the heels fell off after 3 wearings? Solution? I will take it to a cobbler in Mexico where I live and have new heels put on. You may not be willing to fix these two problems but I will tell you why I did. Here are amazing things about this bootie: 1. Super comfortable from day 1, especially with arch supports. 2. The leather feels like butter! 3. Except for the heel problem they are well made and have the look of an expensive shoe 4. You can fold them down or have them straight up which is fun because you get two different looks and 5. (the best) they are the booty for gals with skinny ankles and lower legs! I've tried on about 50 pairs trying to find one that doesn't make me look like Popeye's "Olive Oyl" (remember her toothpick legs in the army boots?). There are the ones! Despite the problems I mentioned above I would buy these in black if they had them. I haven't wanted to take them off since I bought them. Love them!

Having passed the age where I'm no longer carded when I buy wine, I've purchased only my fair share of shoes in my lifetime. A few, and only a few of them are nothing short of memorable. Enter Spring Step Galil. A lifetime-memory maker of a shoe. No, I'm being serious here. This shoe is wonderful. I am totally comfort driven, no matter how good looking the shoe is, if it ain't comfy, it ain't going on my foot. But let's face it, girls still want to look pretty. Whadda ya' do? This shoe is comfortable, it's beautiful, it's fashionable, it's everything. Everything! The colors are bright and vivacious without being over the top. You can wear this shoe for a conservative event or a totally modern upscale front runner fashion statement affair as easily. I love it. This shoe looks like money. It looks like a high-end, very expensive shoe and it has the feel and smell of that high dollar shoe, too. And, trust me, this shoe is more comfortable than you can imagine! I wear a wide shoe but I got this in my size medium width and I can even wear medium-to-thin socks with no problem. I've seen burgundy in this shoe elsewhere - Zappos - bring 'em on! - I have the black, I have the brown, I'd take burgundy - and I promise you this is the first time ever for me buying multiples of the same shoe. Highly recommended!

Review for Zappos VIP Points (What's this?)

I bought 2 pairs of Spring Step booties last year. One brown Galil , and one black Stockholm. Both turned out to be a disappointment and did not hold up. That's because the leather is really cheap, low quality. So, it started to split and scuff very quickly. For the price, I expected better. So, don't be fooled by the nice style. These are not shoes that will last and endure. definitely not worth the price tag.
