Are these really Navy? I'm looking for the primary color to be Black and it appears to be Black but the description says otherwise.

Thank you for your question! I do apologize for the confusion! Yes, it is navy. Sometimes it all depends on our Photo Studio lights, the color will look different. But I check L'Artiste website and the Navy is Navy. I hope you love them, they are very nice looking!

I'd never heard of this brand, so took a chance on both the quality and the sizing--and I hit the jackpot. The shoes are ADORABLE. I get heaps of compliments every time I wear them; they go well with both pants and skirts, so are terrifically versatile. They were also comfortable right out of the box: according to my step tracker, most of my work days I tend to walk between 5 and 7 miles, and these go the distance without any blisters or hot spots. My feet run narrow and I typically wear a 9.5, which can lead to some uncertainty when it comes to sizing, especially with an unfamiliar brand. I went with a 40 and it's perfect. If you're reading this review, you probably need these shoes.

Hello. This is my third pair of the Bardot by Spring Step. Seventh pair of the L'Artiste group. I love these shoes. BUT, this Navy color shoe is not Navy color. It's more on the Black spectrum. If you have to put a shoe under a light in order to call it the color it was named - does not make it that color. If I wear blue shoes I want to look down and see blue shoes. Disappointed with color. And for some reason the material on this shoe looks cheap!
