I am a zookeeper, and I purchased these relatively cheaper boots for work so I would stop spraying my hiking boots. They fit my wider calves well (love the adjustable strap), are fairly attractive compared to some other rain boots out there, and after a couple of weeks using them I haven't noticed any holes show up yet (although I only wear them for about 3, 5 days a week with general walking and bending). The only reason though I am giving them 4 stars is that the traction for indoors isn't super great (I have found myself almost slipping on slick floors a couple of times) and my feet do get hot and sweaty in them. If I were outside in the cold I am sure these would be great, but inside a humid building doesn't help the swamp feet. But all together these aren't major issues (since I do not wear them for long), and overall I am satisfied with these Bogs!

I use these boots for work, which typically means walking through streams, wetlands, and all sorts of forests and briars. I wish I had found these earlier! My previous boots were much more bulky in the foot, which is okay for wearing for a short time or distance. These boots are much better for walking a few miles and encountering streams. They had no break-in time (immediately comfortable), and haven't given me blisters like all other boots and many shoes have. My only issue is that the neoprene snagged on a twig and ripped a hole, and I had only worn them a couple times! If this boot came with the tall calf AND thicker neoprene, that would be great!! I need my boots to hold up to thorns etc.
