I really wanted to love these shoes: great look, appears to be good quality construction and felt good, EXCEPT for the bizarre, hard hump on the interior arch support. One other commenter had mentioned this, but I thought I would give it a try. This shoe is not for me, literally like having a golf ball built into the shoe that you walk on. Something went very wrong with the arch support design or manufacturing. Unwearable. I used to love Clarks - starting to wonder.

the fit was good and the comfort level was in keeping with/ what I expect from Clarks, ie really good. Break in time was minimal and I'll buy another pair when the time comes
