Nice looking shoe but hard interior and runs big

Beautifully made shoes, good fit as is, but would be too tight with even slightly thick socks and with inserts, and for me I would need some inserts to make these shoes comfortable. I think they are probably perfect for serious hikers. Big, thick, hard soles and body. Support at the lower part of the shins, which is probably a good thing but was a bit painful for me.

Great but very serious hiking boots. Fit is great, though stiff. Sole is stiff and hard. I think that might be because these boots are made for people climbing mountains and walking for 100 miles at a time. And the sole is probably hard because serious hikers would be adding their own insoles.Too much shoe for me.

I usually order a 10 1/2 but reviews said they ran a little big so I ordered a 10. They fit perfect! right out of the box, wore them all day, forgot I had them on, a bit pricey but when you get a shoe that fits really well it is worth it!

Went out on a limp and bought these as I could not find any reviews as of yet because of the newness of this style.. so here's my opinion on these. I work on my feet all day (UPS) so comfort and support are top priorities. Up till these, Keens and Oboz have been my go to shoes but I must say I am in love with these! Style and comfort are amazing, just enough room in toe box without being to narrow or wide and my feet do not hurt at the end of the day. Have gotten many compliments on the style so that's a bonus..I will say they did take a whole day to break in and conform to my foot.. I would most definitely do some light hiking in these as well.

I am not sure about the size mark of 38. Where are they getting these sizes? 38 is a European size and it is not equivalent to US size 6.5. Very confusing. I went with the 38 and too small. Fast shipping and nice boot but it does not fit.

I have worn Zamberlan everything for the last 14 years, and this is the first pair I find not very comfortable. They are built weird and make me feel like I'm falling backwards.

After 3 years, these are STILL my husband's go-to! Very well made and comfortable, perfect for working outside and around the house

These are super cute and I have heard that they are very well made, however oddly they were tight over the top of my foot - though width/length were fine and generally I have a 'low volume' foot. My husband reported the same problem with a new pair he tried (in Men's). They felt tolerable; possibly if I were just walking around town I'd pick them, but I was concerned that close top would rub when I walked a long distance - so returned.

lightweight, comfortable and well made boot. Replaced in the insole with Superfeet and they are perfect. I have 10.5 size and they are a quarter inch longer than other 10.5 shoes I have, but it is not a problem

Best hiking boots I've tried in 15 years. Crush the Asolos. Hesitated on the price.

These shoes are gorgeously made of the finest components and findings. But they are E width at least and I had to return them.

First of all, I understand that reviews are subjective and no two people have the same foot. With that said, let me start off by saying I've tried almost EVERY pair of quality hiking shoes and boots. I'm talking ALL of them....I've returned a lot of shoes...You name it, I can give you a comparison...From Zamberland, Scarpa, Salomon, Oboz, Garmont, La Sportiva, Merrell, Keen, Lowa.....Just trust me, I've tried 90% of the these brands models. With that said, how anyone can state this shoe fits narrow is beyond my comprehension - again coming from someone who's tried them all.... This shoe in no way, shape or form is narrow. An argument could be made in wanting more toe room, but there is plenty, and the fact that it runs large helps. This shoe is leather, which means over time it will shape to your foot. The fit of the 103 is meant to have extra room and more volume. This is a fact - check Zamberland fit categories. This shoe fits 1/2 - 1 size large. The second you get the shoe, and put your foot into it, you will notice how much room it is. I was almost swimming in mine, and a bit concerned, but after tightening the laces, this shoe had become the single greatest feeling shoe I've ever placed on my foot. No odd pressure anywhere. On top of that, the minimalist looks are awesome. I compared the size 10 to the 10H, and the difference is minimal. Roughly a quarter of an inch length difference. Both sizes would work, but I kept the larger fit for those nasty hikes down the mountain. Again, this shoe is specifically made to accommodate a large variety of feet. The laces allow you to release pressure at any point. Lacing technique is paramount, and most amateurs overlook the power of lacing. I also can not wrap my head around people who give a shoe poor ratings (anything less than 5) based on their foot being the issue, and not the shoe. Common-sense dictates that your foot is the issue and it's impossible for manufactures to accommodate the billions of foot shapes.... The build quality of this shoe is superior to most brands. No glue popping out anywhere...strong and supportive materials and stitching...You see a review with less than 5 stars, you might as well ignore that. Then again, I'm just a nobody to anyone reading this...

These seem like they would be comfortable, but also seem to run a little long, and were loose in the heel. I usually wear a US Size 8 or EU 39.5. I may try the next size down to see if the fit improves.

Zamberlan makes a very comfortable shoe. I've worn their boots for years. Bought my first pair Elk hunting out West. Most all the high country outfitters carry them. Nobody else knows what they are. Anyway, this shoe is a great casual shoe and I walked a moderate trail this morning without a pack in them. Light but very strong through the ankle and the arch. Like I say, the shoe has "bottom" and supports and protects well against rocks and roots.
