Hurt arches of feet. Nice looking shoe, however, the insole came up high and was not a smooth transition to the inner side of the shoe itself, and left indentations in the arches even with socks. Felt mildly narrow.

Right boot was initially very tight on the front of the foot but it has gotten better with wear and is now comfortable. I ordered 2 pairs by mistake and the other pair were both very tight so I returned them- they seem to have problems with consistency in manufacture. Now they are broken in, I love the boots. They look great. They have great grip in snow. The sole feels rubbery and this adds to the comfort. I love not having to tie laces. They aren't as high quality as the 1,000 miles but its telling that I haven't worn the 1,000 miles or my Timberlands once since I got the I 90 Romeo.

These shoes are fantastic. I've never owned a really high quality pair of shoes before, but these are well on their way to becoming my favorite shoes ever. Didn't take long for them to "break in", though they were comfortable from day one. I've been wearing them for a little more than a week and they're getting more comfortable every day. I've take a few photos of them... uncleaned, unpolished, after wearing them every day for over a week. The soles scuff up pretty fast and are a bit slippery, but I think I'm going to get vibram half soles done on them for the extra grip and to help them last longer between sole changes. Definitely worth what I paid for them, especially since I'm planning on wearing them for years.

I've been on the hunt for an androgynous yet practical boot for a while – have tried on Frye's Veronica Combat, Blundstones, and more. These were the cheapest yet beat both out in terms of comfort and quality. The leather is thick and durable, the treads are grippy, and the shoe is slip on. I replaced the insole with my Teva sneaker insoles and it is heaven. The vibe of a combat boot with the ease of a Chelsea.

My husband thought these felt wide and had too much room in the toes. Great boot but he prefers his boots to have more of a snug fit. If you have a wider foot or prefer more room, these may be for you.

I spent quite a bit of time looking for a waterproof, stylish, and comfortable boots to wear to London in February 2020. I was so happy with these boots. They met all my expectations. I didn't have time to break them in but it didn't matter because they were super comfortable the first day I wore them. I'm usually a size 10 and ordered both the 10 and the 11. I ended up keeping the 11 so I could wear thick wool socks. I've had some foot pain so changed the inserts initially, but have since put the original inserts back in and they are just as comfortable. I'm a teacher and will be wearing these to work too. So happy with these boots.

These boots are so amazing, I don't think my words will do them justice. My feet are kind of wide. I ususally wear 8.5 or 9. I got these in 9 and they're perfect. I wear them with a medium weight wool sock. They are bouncy, have a lot of cushion, good toe room, adequate arch support and they aren't too hot. Dirt seems to wipe off easily. They aren't great on icy streets or sidewalks but I can live with that. There was no breaking in period. They look super cool with skinny jeans and skirts. I got a pair of Keen boots and also a pair of Blundstones. These Wolverines were so much better in comparison. The others were uncomfortable, not wide enough, hurt my heels, etc. These boots are a bargain at the price. I love them. If your foot is kind of wide, take a chance.

I LOVE these boots!!!! They seem to me to run a half size small. I had to exchange a 7.5 for an 8. I always buy Dr. scholl's inserts for extra arch support. They were pretty comfortable before I put the inserts in, but with the inserts I can wear them all day for work and they are absolutely comfortable, my feet don't hurt at the end of the day. Totally happy with my purchase!

Best boots I have ever owned. I don't often write reviews, but felt I had to for these. I ordered a half size down and they fit well. May be a little stiff out of the box but the more you wear them and break them in the better they feel. I am pleasantly surprised every time I put them on. They are definitely pricey, but you can feel the quality of the shoe. I've had them for 6 months and they still look brand new. They feel like they will last many many years.

Great boots. But choose wisely your size as they run a full size bigger. I have worn 11.5 in every pair of everything I’ve owned. 10.5 was the perfect fit for me in these boots
Zappos Reviewer on January 25, 2020
I expected a fit similar to the Heritage Bodi (no “FX”). The FX shoe felt tight in length and width. Size 10.5 M weighed 18.87 ounces (535 grams). This is about 45 grams lighter than the original Bodi shoe. That may be a plus for some buyers, but I prefer the weight of the original Bodi shoe. Also consider getting a half size larger than what you normally take. It is a nice looking shoe; a bit stiffer and not as robust as the original Bodi shoe, which I think is very comfortable and doesn’t need much break-in.

I have several pairs of the 1000 Mile Boot. They are all extremely durable and still have that old school, hand made quality that seems to be disappearing in footwear today. My one issue with this boot is simple: The laces are junk. I received the first pair with one lace already snapped in the box. As usual, Zappos was great in send me out a new pair overnight. The new pair looked perfect. But on the second day, the lace snapped. On the fourth day, the same lace snapped again, resulting in the second knot holding it together. It’s irritating that such a simple quality control issue should be overlooked by Wolverine. There’s no excuse for this, especially at over $300 a pair!

Fits true-to-size. I wear either a 9.5 or a 10 depending on brand and the 9.5 was perfect for me. The slip-on design is perfect. They have lovely cushion and are surprisingly lightweight. They are absolutely on-par with Blundstone in terms of construction and design. The leather is heavy-duty and treated to be waterproof and has held itself well against snow, hail, and rain in New York City. As a restaurant professional I'm also happy to report the boots hold up well against grease, oil, and syrups and the leather cleans easily. Also they provide all-day comfort and support. My feet don't wear out even after 18+ hours in these boots. The tread is aggressive and extra-grippy and performs well in icy/wet/slippery conditions. I'm thrilled with these Wolverines and absolutely would purchase them again.

This is my second pair of Wolverines. The fit (as most mentioned) was half a size too big, I normally wear a 10.5, ordered a 10 and they fit perfect, even with thicker socks. The shoes are unlined and the leather is a bit stiffer but there were no pressure points and they were very comfortable right from the box. They look excellent and no fatigue wearing them for long periods of standing. I frequently get compliments on them and although they're a bit on the pricey side, you can feel every penny wearing them. Highly recommend them to anyone, you definately get what you pay for with these shoes.

LOVE these boots! Was searching for a very walkable, comfy pair of chelsea boots for a long time and tried on Blundstones, Doc Martens, etc and these were the winners!

I’m on my feet all day and these are pretty comfortable. They also feel well made. Almost feels like they should be more expensive.

I am usually a 12D but with some brands I may need to use a 13. These are beautiful shoes and the size felt right as I had toe wiggle room but they were too narrow for a D and not useable for my upcoming European vacation where I'll be doing a lot of walking.
Lewis from Miami on October 28, 2019
A trifle narrow for my 4E feet, but the closest I could find in a pull-on work boot (they were 3E) when I bought them. I wore for short periods with thick socks to stretch a bit, then to thinner socks for working. That worked OK. They are handsome and have proven really durable. Here in Western Washington, they will get wet all the time, so I waterproofed them throughly before using, by the way. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend these boots in terms of quality and appearance.

Great looking boots, as other reviewers have said, classic style boot that looks terrific with jeans. For me, took some time to break in, especially at the heel, but a little wear and compressing of the leather and they are feeling comfortable. I'm almost always a 10.5 in everything, and I am usually very hesitant to take other review recommendations to change sizes, but the 10.5 was too big for me. Exchanged for a 10 and it fits better.

These run large. I usually wear size 11 or 11.5, but ordered a 10.5 and they fit perfectly.

Unfortunately I had to send these back. The presentation is awesome the shoe came wrapped in a nice manner which presented as a quality product. The fit was extremely narrow there was no way the shoe would stretch to a comfortable fit. My foot is not wide by any shoe standard these were a disappointment. I am trying the Merrell Barkley next as a viable option to this style

I like the looks of these boots. They are easy on and easy off. Unfortunately, I had to return them for two reasons: First, although they felt comfortable when I tried them on, after walking around in my house for 15 minutes, my right foot began to ache due to an old injury to the big toe. Second: I had planned to wear them for a lot of walking/hiking while on vacation. I slipped on a metal air duct cover and discovered the tread was not good for my purpose of walking on rough terrain.

I've never worn orthotic shoes but that's what I imagined they would feel like. Great comfort and support.
