Wilderdog

It’s probably not a surprise, but the idea of Wilderdog started around a crackling campfire on a typical weekend summer camping trip. They're a small group of friends, often outnumbered by dogs, always camping, climbing, skiing, biking, and seeking adventure. And they found themselves without durable leashes, collars and gear. Often times retired climbing rope or old webbing or cordelette was how they kept a handle on their dogs. From here, their original leash idea was born.

Their products are designed to go everywhere and take a beating. It’s why they back everything with a lifetime warranty. It’s why they started this. They love designing and making reliable gear.

Rescue and adoption are also a big part of their lives. Their fur-kids are all adopted from our local shelters, and they hope to encourage others to adopt their next best friend as well. Thousands of homeless dogs are sitting in shelters right now, without a family of their own. Think of all the campfire naps they're missing out on!
