I wear size 44EU or 11US. This would have been my 7th pair of Vibram 5 fingers. Sadly, although the overall fit was seemed acceptable, the toes of this particular pair were simply too short to the point of discomfort and eventual pain. Because of this, I had no choice but to return them. :-( As an aside, my son gave me the Merrell All Out Blaze Sieve. They are absolutely fabulous in the water!!!!! :-)

I wear size 37 Vibrams for running. I purchased these in a 38 and wear them with the five-toed socks which works perfectly. I recently hiked in these on very slippery fall leaves - I was the only one in our group that didn't slip once! They held firm to the rocks and jagged edges. Not once did I place my foot down painfully either so I am pleased with the thicker soles. I had to avoid wet boggy spots and mud but it was worth it. These do not come up high on the ankle like a normal hiking boot nor are they waterproof. I did get mildly cold toes but the temperature was 30 degrees.

First time trying to put these on probably took me five minutes. Once on, they felt amazing and I really wanted to keep them. After wearing them around the house for ten minutes I realized there was a seam across the top of my smallest toe in the RH shoe that was really starting to dig in. After half an hour it was hurting enough to be a deal breaker. I had ordered two sizes and saw that both pairs had the same twist in the RH smallest toe that caused the rubber-to-fabric seam to wind up on top of the toe instead of off to the side like it was meant to be. Decided to return and not reorder, since I believed the chance of getting another bunk pair seemed pretty likely.

I wear a 42 wide in women's but can often wear a 42 regular width in men's shoes. I figured I'd risk these even though wide width wasn't available. My foot hangs over the outside edge of the sole. So I would be walking on fabric. Also there is mild pinching/tightness at the top of the foot that I've never experienced in any shoe before where the shoe straps crosses. This could, likely, be fixed by wide widths being available. The shoe could look cute IF it was in wide width, but the obtuse angle and the foot overhanging sole really change the angles and shape and just NO.

I’d probably rate this a 4 out of 5 or even 5 out of 5... if it came in wide width, but it doesn’t. I normally wear a 42 wide. I ordered a 42. So these results aren’t shocking but I’m leaving a comment for others with wide feet: Both feet, the ball of my foot hangs over the sole which means no protection because I would be walking on fabric with the outside edge of my foot. Because of my wide feet (I suppose?), the top of the shoe where the straps cross are uncomfortably tight which is something I rarely experience with any shoe. Style was interesting but I felt that the shoe should have been slightly less pointy, perhaps again because the shoe sole is narrower than my foot which means it narrows to a more obtuse angel than someone would experience if they didn’t have wide feet.

It is soooo.... hard to return these shoes. There is something about them that is comforting and enjoyable, like a walk on the beach. Unfortunately, my toes and the shape of the toe pockets are like a square peg in a round hole. After about 10 minutes of trying these in the house, I started to feel as if the shoes were a kind of foot torture - I'm thinking of the ancient custom in at least one country of binding girls' feet for aesthetic reasons. If your pinky toe is at all trangular, these probably won't fit you. But if you have normal feel, they could be great!

My husband has worn Vibrams for years, and he wanted this particular par for rope climbing. He reports that they are bigger than his other Vibrams, so we are returning for a smaller size. So, for this par I would say order a size down. He loves the shoe and is only bummed that he has to wait a few more days to wear them!

I have owned many pairs of FiveFinger shoes over the years, and I usually have them until there are holes in both the fabric and the soles and the stitching is coming apart. I expect that to take at least a year to happen (usually it's longer). These are **the worst** FiveFingers I've ever had. They give me TERRIBLE blisters (I almost never get blisters) in multiple places on my feet, and it hasn't gone away like I hoped as I've had them for a few months. Now there is a split in the sole on the big toe where the two different colors of material meet -- it goes all the way down clear to the fabric!!! I haven't even worn them much! Very unhappy.

Supremely comfortable barefoot shoe with proper width, incorporating true natural shape of the forefoot and toes and none of the narrow width lunacy that's so en vogue these days. Have used it for hiking a few times and love it so far.

I love these shoes for the feeling of being barefoot, but with protection. This is my 4th pair! I wear them inside the house when I first get up, and also outside to do yard work. I think these are the most comfortable of all the five-finger shoes, and my daughter, who also has a pair, agrees.

I've been using these shoes for almost a year now, and I'm pleased to say they're still in great shape and feel good on my feet. Previously I had worn the KMD Sport LS, but they had started falling apart at the 6 month point, with my toes poking holes in the thin material in the front. I use these shoes regularly for a variety of indoor workouts on exercise mats while following exercise videos. They include programs like strength training, general cardio, HIIT, dancing (with slip-on fabric attached to bottom of shoes to reduce friction), and yoga (for longer sessions, I switch to yoga-specific shoes as a preference). The bottom of the shoes have a great grip, which is especially important for all the fast horizontal movements and jumps I've had to do - if I was wearing regular shoes, I'll probably slip and injure myself. I will say I have to wear socks for my feet to feel comfortable in these shoes. There's some rough-feeling material on the top of the shoe when going sockless, so I wear toe socks. It hasn't really been a problem for me, however, and I actually prefer it to keep my feet dry and soft.

I've worn many different Vibram models, many of which I've really liked, but these are amazing. They're a size larger than I've been getting just because I thought they'd be easier to get on. And they are. But the big feature turns out to be their elasticity. I just loosen the laces all the way (which isn't very loose) and slide them on, even the first time. The elasticity makes that easier than usual and also keeps them comfortably in place without further tightening. I walked 9 miles in them on the first day I had them.

Great shoe if you like the barefoot feeling, which I do.......do not expect just to put these on and wear hem all day, you wll be using muscles in your feet and legs that are not accustomed to being used.....however great fit, great show, great company....

I adore these shoes. Please don't stop making them! The fit great, are comfortable in the ocean or just walking around a bit (not for heavy duty walking or hiking). I repeat, I adore these shoes, especially the blue. They make me laugh!

The good news: I do love these shoes. I'm using them as house shoes, because the wood floors are too hard on my feet, even with sock-feet The bad news: They really cost 'way too much from Zappos. $110? Ouch. Even though they're super cool shoes. I did see them for sale elsewhere for considerably less, but the reason I bought them from Zappos, even as I cringed at the price, is because I couldn't figure out the sizing to my satisfaction. I finally hit on mens size 43 as a best guess, and I knew if I'd guessed wrong, Zappos would make the return process easy. That is worth something, but maybe not $40.

I'm usually 8.5-9 and 41 seems right in this shoe with and without socks and a small arch support insert. I had a pair of FiveFingers a few years ago and wearing hem always helped with pain from a severe bunion. I hike regularly and plan to try these out since it's hard to find shoes that stabilize my heel while accommodating bunions. Also have Reynaud's, so I was happy to see a warmer version of these. Have only worn around the house so far, but I'm hopeful.

I go through a lot of beach shoes due to walking/running 5 miles every morning on my beach; Climbing rocks and spending time in the Ocean everyday. When I discovered these shoes they were perfect for my needs. They are so great I bought a second pair the next morning while I was on the beach. ??????????

OK! I'm really enjoying these. My husband thinks they look weird, but I don't care. I've been wearing them around the house and the cloth "wrap" sections don't put any pressure on my sometimes aching big toe joint. They are very flat; it doesn't happen to bother me. I measured my foot according to directions and ordered a 37 as suggested even though I usually wear a 36 European size and it is perfect. Thank you!

This is my third or fourth pair of Five Fingers. I like them. They’re funny looking but comfy. I mostly wear them around the house instead of slippers, and sometimes as beach shoes. For running I like a shoe with much more structure. Really liked the first pair I owned best (they were smartwool-lined), but that model was discontinued years ago; this minimalist version is a good alternative.

Let me start out by saying I love Vibram toe shoes! That is all I run in! In fact, I've been running in Vibram toe shoes for almost 8 years. So if you're new to "toe shoes" or "barefoot running" or Vibram Five Finger shoes in general, know that they are going to fit tight, they are going to fit like a glove(all up in between them toes!), and it will be ZERO support for your foot. But that is what the Vibram shoe is all about- feeling like you're not wearing any shoes, hence the barefoot shoe. These fit tighter than your normal Five Finger shoes. They are very cute, and comfortable albeit a little snug in the toes (just not quite long enough in between the toes). So SIZE UP on these shoes and get them they are very cute and work perfect for Road running.

The fit was excellent. i wear a 7.5 to 8/ Ipurhcased an 8. they are good with or without socks. No arch support, but i like flat shoes. Could place a arch support into shoe if it bothered you. You can feel the ground shock when where them, not terrible but noticeable. I wore them for a 16 hour shift as a nurse, and feet did not hurt at end of day. I did feel shorter wearing them...lol.I actually only wore them a few times and each time, had complements on them.

I have about 13 pairs of vibrams for different situations and these have been the best by far for hiking... My friends argue with me that you need hiking boots - but I could not walk in them at all... these are a breeze. I would consider myself a decent hiker and have done the following in these shoes among many others not so famous hikes: Angel's landing - zion national park (1 mile in rocky terrain) Grinnel glacier - Glacier national park (2400+ ft elevation) Hidden Lake train - Glacier National Park (2000ft elevation) Mission Peak - San Jose (2400ft elevation) Mt. Diablo - Walnut Creek(3800 ft elevation)
