I love Vibram 5-Finger shoes but I've tried some of the new versions and they just don't fit like my old faithful ones that I really need to replace. I was pleasantly surprised when I put these on my feet. They said, "YES!" The first day I was wearing them I forgot I had shoes on...exactly what I want!

Perfect shoe for that minimalist feel. Good durable upper with a sock-like feel, and good protection for the bottom of your foot. This shoe doesn't fit like your normal everyday shoe. Just measure your foot length and check your size on Vibram's website.

A great option for that minimalist feel. Strengthen your feet, legs and lower body, and improve your posture. Great protection for the bottom of your feet and great sock-like material with durability.

I compared the V-run with this V-train and REALLY WISH that Vibram would combine the best features of both into one version. I loved the arch support and the easier fit of the V-train. But sent it back because the Velcro band was stiff across the top of the foot and this shoe has bulky laces and a stiff lacing system instead of the V-run lacing system which is much more efficient and neater. I think more people would be willing to try the V-run if it was easier to get into. It’s a great therapeutic shoe for common foot problems, such as fallen arches, bunions, and crooked toes, but the difficulty in getting a foot into the shoe is off-putting.

In my quest for the perfect Fivefingers walking shoe, I was hopeful that the V-Trek would be the one. The sole felt thicker in the center and thinner on the sides, which made my feet want to roll in. I tried to adjust to them but this was really a sticking point. The thicker sole also meant it was harder and stiffer and I felt like I lost the barefoot feel, which is a big part of the draw for me. I think on a trail with rocks and other things one needs to protect one's feet from, these might be good. I need a shoe for my long daily walks in the neighborhood and light off-roading. Sadly, these were not for me.

I am LOVING this shoe! I tried several pairs of Fivefingers for my walks but came to realize that for me, less is definitely more! I wear the KSO EVO's as my everyday shoe. The sole is the thinnest in the line and I felt for long walks it just wasn't quite enough so I tried a couple other shoes that had thicker soles or different compounds that offer shock absorbency. Neither of them worked, however, and I ended up with the V-Alpha since it is the same sole as the KSO EVO's, just 7mm thicker... and it was exactly what I needed! I find I don't want to wear any other shoe now and am planning my next pair! It is important to note that we have so many nerve endings on our feet and activating those nerves regularly is so important for our nervous system and brain. These shoes straighten our toes and that aligns the rest of our bodies, too! I only wish I had tried these years ago! I highly recommend them!

OMG these shoes fit like a glove on my feet! Seriously though, I have very flat feet and without inserts and orthotic pads in most shoes, I am miserable after just a few hours. Yesterday I wore my Vibrams all day doing yardwork, and some shopping. After all day, I was able to crawl in bed with no pain in my feet, back or legs. Amazing. I did have to adjust a bit to them. I was walking on rock in the yard and I was "cringing " expecting to feel the discomfort of the uneven ground. That was unnecessary. Yes you could feel that it was uneven but not uncomfortable. And the best part, my feet never felt hot throughout the day.

I just ordered this as I've been looking to incorporate more "barefoot" activities to address some postural issues. They are AMAZING!! So comfy and cool looking. I wore them to work and got quite a few compliments on how cool they looked. I would definitely recommend if you're looking for a basic barefoot style shoe.

I am debating whether or not to keep these. They are not nearly as comfortable as my old ones. The fabric seems cheaper and stiffer - what I like about my old ones is they are soft and fit like a glove. These are stiff and I think they will rub. They also seem to have an odd bump on the outside of the sole which I can feel when I walk in them. And though I marked true to size, they don't feel right. They are longer and tighter than my old ones. Just overall kind of weird. Decision made - they are going back. Sad that REI store doesn't carry these anymore. My first 2 pairs I was able to try on and find the right ones. This is annoying to have to send them back.

These are cute for wearing around the house or light outside use. They aren't heavy like a real tennis shoe or sneaker. I use them for toe alignment after wearing heels, so I occasionally wear them. They are very comfortable!

I put these shoes back as soon as I opened the box, without trying them on. I like toe shoes to help align my toes, especially after wearing heels, but these are too clunky and masculine looking for my taste.

Seeking a barefoot feel, I was very excited to try these shoes for dance fitness classes. I wore them to one class and found the rubber strip across the toes to be very uncomfortable. The strip covered some of my toes, but slipped on and off others, becoming quite irritating. Without this issue, I think they would kept them.

This is about my 9th or 10th pair of Vibram Fivefingers shoes! I just love all of the different styles that I have. The Vi-B is probably my favorite for everyday wear, especially in the summer (I live in Tucson). This style is very comfortable, easy to put on, breathable, and washable (all of my styles are comfortable and washable). They have a thin rubber-like sole that protects my feet from small stones, imperfections in pavement, etc., but that also feels very light and as bendable as my own feet. I have always had flat feet, have had arch pain and also plantar fasciitis, was developing a bunion on one foot, and had to wear orthotics in all of my regular shoes. None of that is a problem any more! I have been wearing exclusively my various unstructured Vibrams for going on two years now, and have donated all of my regular shoes to charity. All foot pain is nonexistent. The bunion has disappeared. I plan to continue wearing my Vibram Fivefingers till I no longer need shoes! Thank you, Vibram, for making these shoes, and thank you, Zappos, for making it so easy to order shoes, and return if necessary!! BTW, a big bonus for me is that all of my Fivefingers shoes provide me with great stability compared to all the other shoe types that I have worn. I am 76 years old and have had surgeries and chemo that made me weak and unstable on my feet. Fivefingers are wonderful because they allow my feet and toes all to work together as Nature intended. I feel very confident now, anywhere I walk??.

I love these FiveFingers. My feet have a wide ball, normal heel, high arches, shorter toes, and these fit them perfectly. I've had them for over a year and they've been fantastic and are still going strong as my summer walking/gym/hiking shoes. These have a little more arch support than the average FiveFingers; I would think these are probably set up to do things like rope climbs, etc., given the pattern on the arches.

I was so excited about getting these toe shoes because I Love toe socks! Unfortunate I could not get them on no matter how hard I tried!!! The big toe was ok but the rest did not have enough flexibility due to the sole to get the rest of my toes in. I think they either need more room per toe or perhaps each toe being more “self supporting like a little tube so you can slide your toes in. I’ll have to return them... ??

I jog in the pool for at least 1 hour a day and running wears on my feet as well as the shoes. I tried this show because it was different and I more that I imagined. The individual toes fit perfectly, there is enough rubber on the soul of the shoe for great cusioning and they don't slip, even on the color tile in the middle of each lane. I love them and I plan to get a second pair for those times when one pair does not get try in time.

Like little gloves for your feet. They just give you a tiny bit of grip and protection, and that's all. Plus they're actually quite pretty in the silver color. I love VFFs and really wanted to love these, but unfortunately, the sizing didn't quite work for me. I normally wear a 41 or 42 in VFFs, and I have a Morton toe (my second toe is longer than my big toe). The 41s were too tight on my toes, and the 42s were too loose around the rest of the foot. If they fit, they'd be great for indoor fitness (I'd been hoping to use them for barre and modern dance).

Can't get my favorite VFFs (the Speeds) anymore, and the women's KMDs only come in gross colors, so I thought I'd try these. The plastic fin-like things on the sides of these shoes ruin everything -- every time I bend my forefoot, the sharp edge of the plastic digs into the top of my foot. Tried adjusting and relacing them different ways, no go. There's no point in VFFs you can't move in, so, back they went to Zappos, 30 minutes after trying them on. Why does Vibram keep discontinuing perfectly good shoes to introduce new bad ones? I'm moving on to other brands.
