The North Face Kids

The North Face Kids Logo
Since 1966, The North Face has been synonymous with high-performance climbing and backpacking equipment. Two hiking enthusiasts founded the initially small mountaineering retail store in the heart of San Francisco’s North Beach. In 1968, The North Face began designing and manufacturing its own brand of high-performance mountaineering apparel and equipment. In the early 1980’s, extreme skiwear was added to the list of quality products. By the end of the decade, The North Face became the only supplier in the United States to offer a comprehensive collection of high-performance outerwear, skiwear, sleeping bags, packs and tents.

The North Face Kids’ line holds to the same high level of quality as the adult line. Offering a wide selection of shorts, pants, jackets and hoodies, The North Face’s kids’ apparel line is sure to have what your child needs to conquer the great outdoors. The products in this line have the quality and integrity that you will expect in every product that The North Face offers. The North Face’s quality doesn’t stop at apparel. Their large selection of shoes also maintains a high level of integrity. Using proven technology such as Gore-Tex® and Gore-Tex® XCR®, their insulated footwear can sustain use in low, sub-zero temperatures, and with the innovative Boa® technology, users can have a precise fit with the ability to adjust quickly and on the fly.

This hat fits my average ten and eight year old. It has soft foam around the entire head on the inside. My child who buys things only based on feel/softness/stretchy-ness wears this willingly.

I have an overweight ten year old daughter who wears XXL or XL plus sizes. For instance, she can wear the top plus size at Land's End and Old Navy and sometimes the top XL or XXL size at Children's Place. She weighs about 100 lbs and is 5 feet tall. She has a shorter torso relative to her legs. Unfortunately, like many girls who are 10 who are overweight, she has a tummy. This tank was very pretty and soft, but it really was pretty long and narrow and it almost showcased her tummy. So the top size here is still for thin girls, not chubby girls. So I had to return it. Interestingly, the tshirt with this same exact picture indicates it has a "boxy fit." Maybe i confused that in my mind and should have ordered the tshirt. But this is not a boxy fit at all. I may go order the tshirt, instead and see if that works better.

Fit my son perfectly. He has a slender foot and likes shoes a little roomy so these true to size flip flops were just right for him.

My 9 year old loved these flip flops. She has been wearing Sanuks for many summers and loves the soft feel. She tried a few other pairs of flip flops on without luck. These felt good on her feet. The first pair of North Face flip flops I had to return because they were slightly small. I’m waiting for the next size to arrive. She’s very excited to have cute and comfortable sandals for the summer.

I bought the coastal green color which looks exactly like the picture. In the picture looks more light blue with a slight green tint which is exactly what I got and exactly what I wanted. Today my daughter wore the jacket in the rain and although it says “water resistant”, it did NOT resist the rain. Although the hood and the body part of the jacket did not get her wet, the arms on the jacket were SOAKED and stuck to her arms! I know it’s not waterproof but I’ve bought other water resistant jackets from TNF and other brands and they all faired very well in the rain. It also did not have pockets which my daughter didn’t like and I didn’t know it had no pockets until after I received the jacket. I gave it 2 stars because the color is very pretty and it’s lightweight. I wish I could return this jacket because I wanted a lightweight summer jacket that could at least RESIST the rain which this did NOT.

I bought the ‘happy campy’ print in a 3T for my 17 month old son who wears a 2T-3T in clothes depending on the brand and it fits him perfectly with room to grow or layer without looking too big or frumpy. he is a bit bigger than most kids his age..the jacket is very cool looking and stylish! quick shipping! I would recommend and buy this again

My 5 year old loves it. Perfect for a kid who does not like hats, my son claims he forgets he has it on since is so light and I am used to him taking all hats off. Adjustable, so he will be able to use it for a while.

These shoes were very hard to get on and off. When I finally got them on they were really tight. I didn’t want something I would have to sweat and be out of breathe to get on lol.
