They remind me of shoes I hand years ago and SO wanted them to work! They did feel true to size but just walking around my apartment in them I knew these were going to give me blisters. The leather is so stiff. If you don't have sensitive feet I would recommend them.

I LOVE the style of Hasbeens, just what I was looking for. Zappos was terrific with one day free shipping too. I am a 7 1/2 in most shoes & the 38's fit perfectly. The ONLY reason I have to return is the fact that there is NO arch support. I am a teacher & on my feet all day, so I need some type of support. For those who don't need what I do, I would say give them a try. They appear to be beautifully made, with remarkable craftsmanship.

These run small. I normally wear an 8/12-9, but I had to get size 10. I find that is the case with many European shoes. The soles are comfortable and at the end of the day, my feet felt great. One unexpected discomfort is that the inside of the zipper pinches a bit, so you have to where long socks or tights. Also, the leather is pretty stiff. The front of the boot digs into the skin/front of the ankle a bit when walking and especially when walking down stairs. I have to walk at an angle when going down stairs to avoid the discomfort. I am hoping they will break in quickly.

Loved these boots but had to return them because they were too small. I’m almost always an 8.5 or 9 in shoes so I ordered a 9. They felt a full size too small so now I’m patiently waiting for the 10s to be back in stock. Other than not fitting, I absolutely love the look of them and can’t wait to own a pair!

Love them! I get compliments every time I wear them. They are comfortable too.

This shoe runs true to size, I wear a 39 consistently with Swedish Hasbeens, I am giving a 4 star on style, due to they are a bit clunky to walk in. They are a bit wider than my other Swedish Hasbeens. The comfort is wonderful, I wore them all day the first day I got them!

Love them!! Stylish and comfortable

These boots look so cute ! Unfortunately my feet are a bit wide and the boots a bit narrow, so I had to return them. So sad :(

I always wear a 38 in EU sizing and my foot is on the narrower side. The moment I took them out of the box I knew these clogs would be small. They seemed to be a full size too small. I ordered the 39 in this brand in another style, only because the 38 was not available and reviewers indicated they may run small, and even those were too small. My toes were bumped up against the front of the clog and my heel just barely fit.

Why oh why are the zippers on the outside?? Makes no sense. Hard to put in and doesn’t look good. — Also the leather is super tough and is not really softening. I have tons of clogs and these are probably not going to get worn much. One is narrower than the other too. Something i only noticed after a bunch of wears.

These are so awesome and I regrettably returned them due to Hasbeens' site having even cuter shoes for cheaper than Zappos. Also, these felt so narrow and I stupidly thought that due to the stiffness of the leather, they wouldn't be easily broken in. I was wrong. Hasbeens uses vegetable tanning and no chrome, so their leathers are initially very stiff. If you buy a nubuck shoe, this shouldn't be a problem, but the untreated natural leather stars as one of the stiffest. I don't have narrow feet, nor wide; my feet are regular shmegular in shape and size. I have no high arches, no flat feet, no issues whatsoever. That said, I wrongly assumed these were too narrow. You can easily break these in with a decent shoe horn. Sometimes I make my husband shove his oddly-wide foot into my shoes to break them in quicker, but he complains about the pain too much XD When I danced, I'd shove a horn or even a wide spoon/ladle into my shoe and use a blow dryer to soften the leather. I'd do a lot more, but none are recommended for your every day shoe. Hasbeens gives out a thorough booklet on how to soften the leather. Their site has it listed as well and I highly recommend looking it over before purchasing. These particular beauties fall into the "super high" rather than "sky high" category, which makes them the goldilocks height. They're so cute, comfy, and go with everything! You can wear them with cropped sweats and a hoodie like I did, or a cute dress like my friend did and both ways work! It's recommended to treat them with olive oil, rather than your standard shoe spray. This will darken the leather indefinitely. Natural leather will have a beautiful patina over time, but I don't recommend wearing these untreated. If you want the leather to be lighter, many have used natural coconut oil. Do NOT use cosmetic grade; DO USE food grade pure coconut oil and check the label! This will make the leather darker, but less cognac in color. If you like the darker leather, by all means use what's recommended. I used Costco's EVOO and had beautiful results! For once, Zappos is actually cheaper than the brand's site (same with the Pearl style!) I highly recommend these clogs to anyone looking for a cute, quality, lifetime shoe!!! If you're put off by the price and of breaking them in, try the Pearl in nubuck. Nubuck is softer than the color/natural clogs. On the site, it says the Pearl sky highs run small. I did find them a half size smaller and bought a 37. I usually wear a 6 or 6.5 and both these and Pearl fit perfectly in a 37.

Horribly made shoe. Very narrow, very stiff and extremely hard. Would not recommend

I'm still getting used to wearing these, but I'll say I was thrown off by all the sizing reviews. I'm a true 7.5 and the 38 fit great.

This is my first pair of Hasbeens and I love them. I've had wood sole shoes previously, but the construction of these is superior. The weather is a bit rough at first. I had to put Vaseline on my toes to keep them from blistering. But by the third wear, they were perfect. I will buy more Hasbeens in the future!

I wanted to like these desperately but they were SO stiff, they felt awful on. There’s no way I would have been able to wear them enough to break the leather in, so I sadly returned them.

Cute shoe but I felt like the toe enclosure was a little large and gappy. Also the tan color was a bit orange and clashed with my fair/olive skin tone. There is a little padding on the heel which helps make the hard construction of the platform more confortable.

These are really cute and far more comfortable than I expected. They're a clog, so they'll never be like wearing a sneaker, but I can tell that I'll be able to walk around town with no problems and will probably be my go-to boot for winter. For anyone wondering (like I was), the shearling is only around the ankle area not not throughout the remainder of the boot. So order the same size you normally wear in this brand. I have a high arch and medium width foot and these fit perfectly. I know they'll get even more comfy over time as they mold to my foot.

I was so excited about these boots! And then they arrived....and they were impossible to get on! Once I finally squeezed my foot in, my foot felt like it was being compressed from all sides. I usually wear an 8 and ordered a 39. And then the ankle was way too stiff. Sigh...they were so cute, but back they go.

Very uncomfortable and stiff around the ankle. Quality material. Wish these fit better as they are very beautiful.

Cute boots, but very stiff and uncomfortable around the ankles. Quality material. Would likely become more flexible with use, but will probably give me blisters in the process.

I love these shoes and was so excited to get them, unfortunately they are one size small. You have to go up a a size. I’m so bummed out I can’t wear them.

Returning. Loved the way they look, but extremely narrow and small even though I ordered one size up. Sadly have to return.

I love Swedish Hasbeens. The Louise is my favorite of the three pairs I have. This is the only pair that I did not have to break in. I can wear these all day and my feet stay comfortable. Surprisingly I can actually do a lot of walking in these as well. I wore them to a concert and stayed out at the bar until closing and my feet stayed happy. These are painful to fall off though...the dangers of clogs are strong with these.

This is a beautiful shoe! I bought these in a lovely tan color. They are very squeaky (still after 3 wears), but my biggest issue is the sensitivity of the leather. I wore them the second day after I got them, a cookie crumb fell on my shoe and in the very short amount of time it was on there a grease stain appeared. Now there is a forever grease stain right on the front of my shoe...would it be asking to much to seal the leather before selling them? A similar thing happened to my friend on the day she bought her hasbeens bringing her the same frustration. It was a waste of my money. Had I known the leather was so sensitive there is no way I would have bought them. It is so infuriating/frustrating to ruin a $200+ shoe on the very first time wearing them.

I ended up ordering both the Swedish Hasbeen Swedish Husband and the Mia wooden clog, size 40 (9.5/10). The obvious difference between them is price. The Mia is about $50 less than the Swedish Husband. The shape of the clog bases seem to be the same, and I mean it’s IDENTICAL. I am sure they must be from the same supplier. Zappos lists the Mia heel as 1-1/2 inch and the SH as 2 inches. That is incorrect. They are both just under 2 inches on the size 40 (9.5/10). The wood is, however, different. Mia uses a darker wood with more visible grain and they are not as smoothly polished as the SH. The leather and cut of the upper is a little different. The leather of both is thick and substantial, but the SH is stiffer and looks “dressier”. The Mia leather is a little more pliable and will probably conform to your foot more. The big difference for me is that the SH comes up a little higher on your foot than the Mia. Only about 3/8”, but it may make one or the other feel better on your foot. Overall, the finish on the Swedish Husband is nicer, but the materials of both seem equivalent. Whichever you choose, I would agree that the US sizes listed run small. But I think it is a conversion thing. I am usually a euro 40, and that was the right size.
