I have wide feet and wear orthotics. The SH-ME2 shoes fit me better than any other bike shoe I've ever tried. They're sturdy, and hold up in pouring rain. No complaints. I also tried the Shimano SH-RP300 and they didn't feel nearly as comfortable.

I bought the shoe based on its style and look - not as bulky as a Mountain shoe, but with a sleek road shoe feel. What I found is that you must buy at least one size larger than you would expect as they run small and the hard toe offers no give. For me, I normally wear a 10.5 shoe (euro 45) but settled on an 11.8 shoe (euro 47) - a big difference (and even then my toe was pretty close to the end of the shoe). Other than that, excellent!

Excellent shoe from Shimano as usual. Very good lacing system, just cannot turn knob if it is wet. Could be stiffer but that is a nitpick. Great shoe!

I ordered these based on reviews and I have to say I'm pretty frustrated. These shoes require a cleat adapter to be used with SPD cleats. This was not at all listed or stated anywhere. Returning!

Fit and size were good I wear an 8 and got a 41 So far comfortable. Wear riding a Peloton. So much more cushioned than the ones Peloton sell. Only 4 stars because expensive and the technology is new to me But getting the hang of the dial closure. I would recommend these shoes.

Great product. It does not come with the clips but those can easily be picked up on line or at a local bike store. Zappos customer service is excellent. I ordered these one day and received them the next.

I LOVE these spin shoes. I wanted lace up ones because my foot tends to ache if I wear shoes that are too tight around the top of the shoe, so laces gives you full range of adjustment (versus two velcro straps). They're stylish and cute, and if you need to walk around you don't feel like you're walking on cleats - just a stiff sneaker. Note: for the type of cycling clips I had to get with these shoes, the clip bed is a little tight to the clip. I had to use an exacto knife to cut a bigger opening once the clips were installed, otherwise I wouldn't have been able to wiggle into the pedal as easily as I can with a wider clip bed.

Good style -- a bit small due to strange sizing. Go bigger on these.

Weirdly narrow through through the ball of the foot. Had to return them.

I have two other pairs of cycling shoes. A pair of mountain bike and a pair of road bike shoes. These are my first pair of Shimano and the most comfortable. I can wiggle my toes and that's important for me because I was having numbness in my toes while riding. The clips are set in in a way that when you walk it looks and sounds like you're wearing regular sneakers. Happy to have these in my rotation.

Perfect for me. I need spinning shoes that are more like sneakers. I ain't changing shoes just for spinning. The cleats are recessed enough so they don't touch the ground when walking around.

This shoe comes up as an option for my size 7 /6E foot. Even taking the footbed out I couldn't even get the velcro straps into the loops to come back.

Fit was a bit tight, so you may want to order a half size up, though I decided to keep the 8.5 as a half size will=clown shoes. Great for spinning and the clips, which must be ordered separately, were very easy to attach. I literally put them on and took a class.

I bought the Shimano MT5 (men's version) in black, size 46, and they are great! I was a little apprehensive because I have flat, wide feet, and other Shimano cycling shoes in that size had been too small so I had to return them or move up to size 47. However, these fit well and the toe box is the roomiest I've found in any bike shoe. These are mountain bike shoes but I wanted them for my road bike. My Speedplay Frog pedal cleats fit with no problem which means these shoes will be great for long, casual rides, and will allow me to walk around inside coffee shops, etc., without falling down or ruining floors. They even look a lot like an ordinary pair of sneakers. I'm strictly a recreational and (relatively unfit) fitness rider who won't likely ride enough to wear these out anytime soon, so I didn't want or need the most expensive shoes out there. These were reasonably priced and should serve me well for years to come. I'm very happy I found them.

Ordered these shoes, tried them on, and they felt great! However, after a few minutes in the shoes I realized they were about 1/2 size too small. I am a size 41 and wish shimano's were widely available in 1/2 sizes. I had to return the shoes, which was an effortless experience. Thank you Zappos.com.

I ordered the 10.5 wides and was expecting wider. 9 out of 10 shoes I wear are 10.5s. Definitely wider than standard but they are not EE. I would order half size bigger. I considered reordering and maybe getting extra toe box room out of the next size up but my concern is that the next size up is a US 11.2 so I am going to pass on the reorder. The material actually looks a little cheap but I feel that it would wear well. The shoe seemed like it would have good grip off the bike as the tread was flexible and soft. I liked it but the sizing is off.

I have very wide, flat feet so finding cycling shoes that fit has been a lifelong problem. When my last pair fell apart after many years I went looking for new ones at a reasonable price and ran across these on Zappos.com. Needless to say, the selection of wide cycling shoes is limited so when I saw these I decided to give them a try. I ordered them in size 46-W but found they were too tight. I returned them unused to Zappos and exchanged them for size 47-W which proved to be exactly what I needed. The other thing I like about these shoes is they can accommodate clips for my Shimano SPD pedals or my Speedplay Frog pedals. Bike shoes have come a long way since I bought my last ones. I think I would want more of a "sneaker" styled MB shoe for touring, but for the 10-20 exercise rides I usually go on, where I won't be walking around all day, these will be perfect.

I wear a 8 2E in New Balance shoes without a problem. I should have been fine in a 42 wide according to Shimano website. Lengthwise this 43 was a bit long but acceptable. But ultimately this wide was not wide enough.

Love these! I have the Peloton bike and do not like the Peloton shoes. Purchased these and they’re so comfy! I’m a women and where a size 7 in most shoes. I ordered a 39 and while they fit, my toe felt a little numb. I sized up to a 40 and it was perfect! They’re made very well. The Japanese know how to make an awesome shoe!

I got these shoes for my mom birthday, she loved them ! You def. Have to order a whole size up, my mom is a 6.5 and i ordered a 7.5. It fit perfect, also be aware to buy the bottom piece that connects to an spd petal. The details are in bottom description of the shoe and I didn't read that part. Overal very clean cut shoe, nice material and look very supportive. My mom uses them for her spinning class and for an experienced rider, she loves them.
