I really like being single, but if I could marry a bag this would be THE ONE. It just arrived, but it fits great (and I’m not a small person), and I can tell that even with my water bottle, sunglasses, wallet, phone, and BUJO scheduler it’s going to be so much more comfortable on my commute than a backpack. Obviously, this has not seen the test of time, but it looks and feels sturdy and well made. I was hesitant to spend the $$$ on yet another bag, but it’s great, especially for the price!

Wish it were a couple inches bigger, barely fits my pocket book let alone any extras. Good quality, nicely made.

Wooo....this is a great bag. Lots of pockets while keeping slim profile. 2 Zip pockets in front, one inside along with 2 slips for phone, wallet or keys. Pouch in back. Material has a great solid feel. Entire bag is feather-lite.

I wish it had been just a little bit bigger. I made it work but had to leave several items out. I need about 2" larger each way.

This purse is very well made, attractive and is the right size to fit a tri-fold wallet, cell phone, and other essentials. I have another Sherpani purse that is of similar qualities. Both purses launder in the washing machine w/air drying well, because of the material. Would not hesitate to keep with this brand.

I ordered this item and the Sherpani Prima AT, both in copper and wow, I am very pleased. I was planning a trip to Europe and I wanted something secure that I could use on a daily basis. I originally ordered a PacSafe crossbody, but it was too small to accommodate my iPad Pro, nor would it hold a water bottle, so back it went. I, somewhat reluctantly, after much online searching ordered these two Sherpani products. I thought, okay, I will give up some of the features that PacSafe offers, and order this. At least it has RFID security. When I received the items I was very pleased to discover that the bottom and straps of each are reinforced and ‘knife/slash’ proof. Additionally, the zippers ‘lock’, there is an anti-theft chair cable and there are not only two water bottle pockets on the outside, there are two on the inside as well, all with nice stretch. There is a pocket that fits my iPad Pro. I only wish that the description listed all of the features, because I would have ordered these products the first time around. (And that cost me my $25 Zappos incentive, because by the time I was done hemming and hawing about what to order, the coupon expired.) I would use this item as a day pack and the smaller crossbody for money, room key, ID, phone, etc. small, but very functional. I do find Sherpani products priced a little high, but the quality is exceptional. I am very happy with this purchase. Trip to Europe will have to wait until Covid-19 pandemic ends. When it does, I’m prepared.

This bag was exactly what I was looking for and worth every penny. I wanted something that could be carried crossbody or like a backpack but didn’t look like a backpack. It isn’t bulky when the straps are tucked away. The organizing pockets are great and the water bottle holders are big enough to even hold my shakeology cup!

This bag is great for work. I can fit my 12.9" iPad in the laptop sleeve, and all the other things I need inside. I bought it because I wanted a nice looking bag that would go quickly and easily between cross-body bag to back pack when moving from public transit to walking, and this fits the bill. I can leave the cross-body strap on and just tuck it in the back pocket when not in use. It doesn't hide completely, but it's good enough to keep it out of the way. It just fits a 16" MacBook, btw, though not in the laptop sleeve and wouldn't be room for much else. I don't use it for that, but it does fit. There are two reasons i gave it 4 instead of 5 stars. The biggest problem for me is that there's no cinch straps at the top of the shoulders when in back pack mode, which means the pack is too loose to be ergonomically correct. It can be tightened from the adjustable buckles at the bottom of the straps, but that takes longer and you have to stop walking to do it. If I tighten it up ahead, it's difficult to get on and off with a coat on. I guess this problem will be less in the warm weather. The other minor thing that's a little disappointing is that the top zipper is slightly open on the ends. Not a big deal as long as it doesn't rain, but it would nice it there was a flap over the top or something. Other than that, the quality is outstanding, and it managing to be well structured, never floppy or sloppy, while still being lightweight, which I love. Overall, I'm happy with the purchase.

Love this bag except for the fact that it DID NOT have the little insert bag/ wallet that was advertised. I noticed that another reviewer didn’t get hers as well. Do I need the insert? Not really, I still love this bag but it’s disappointing that it’s advertised and it’s not there. It makes me wonder if people are returning the bags and just keeping the little inserts and Zappos doesn’t notice. I don’t know. But I do love the bag itself so I’m keeping it.

I loved how this bag could be worn crossbody and was extremely lightweight. However, I was looking for a bag to serve as a purse but also be able to carry a water bottle and small tablet, maybe a calendar/book. This was too large to just use as a purse, but oddly not quite big enough to fit my 12"tablet (it stuck out of the top and prevented the bag from zipping). I was uncertain about the color, and it was too blah for my taste. I returned it and ordered the Sherpani Geo AT instead (not available on Zappo's).

I'm really disappointed--thought this bag was going to solve a problem. I have had the Sherpani Camden for over a year, and I love it. But a few months ago I was starting to have some pretty serious issues with my right shoulder at the joint where the collar bone joins with … I don't know what, but where that bump is between your neck and shoulder. It was kind of swollen and painful, and the pain began radiating down my arm and up my neck. One day--I don't know why it took so long--I realized that the Camden's shoulder strap sits right there and was likely the cause of the problem. So I lengthened the strap and started wearing it as a crossbody. Better. The one day I dumped out the Camden and was appalled at the amount stuff that had accumulated in there. Things I'd been looking for for months. Things I'd forgotten I ever had. So I whittled the contents down to the essentials (which for me is more than for some) and decided to look for a smaller crossbody to prevent myself from loading up again. (A reason for a new bag!) I used to carry only high-end leather bags, but as I've aged, my tastes have reverted to my earlier, crunchier aesthetic. So I checked out Sherpani's other options and found the Vale. Perfect, I thought. Similar looking--doesn't have the backpack option like the Camden, but I tend to use that only when travelling anyway. Didn't care much for the available colors, but ordered the black and figured I'd get one in another color later. The Vale arrived, and I transferred everything from the considerably lightened Camden into the Vale. The Vale itself is lighter than the Camden, but the crossbody strap is 1" wide as opposed to the Camden's 1.5". The result is that the lighter-weight Camden containing the exact same stuff as the Camden--actually feels considerably heavier. I'm so bummed! It's going back.

The size of this is deceiving. It looks like it has a larger space than it actually does for whatever contents one wishes to carry. Perhaps it has to do with the bottom being narrower than the top. I needed a larger “bag”, but this really isn’t much of a step up from the one I have been using. I now have to carry reading glasses and an inhaler. If one organizers it well, maybe it would suffice. However, on a day to day basis, I’d prefer not to have to play a game of Tetris multiple times to repack my purse after a trip to the grocery store. I ended up returning this and purchasing the Sherpani Emerson, which is less “cute”, but much more functional for my current needs. I also found the fabric to be course and stiff, similar to canvas. I imagine that might soften up with use, which would likely make it easier to shove things into it while in a hurry.

Nice sleek bag for corralling my tablet, phones(s), glasses, water bottle and whatever else I’m lugging around the house. Love the tote handles and shoulder strap. The bag stands on its own when loaded, although it does sag to one side if there’s nothing in the tablet sleeve (but it hasn’t fallen or collapsed on itself). I usually leave it open and it’s easy to access the contents, but closing it would be a two-handed operation which could be a deal breaker if you’re out in the field and trying to keep your hands free. I compared this to the Dispatch and got it because I really don’t need a backpack option, and the straps on the Dispatch weren’t removable.

Love this bag! It is so roomy - fits everything you need for a day out. It’s like Hermione’s beaded bag with the Undetectable Extension Charm - I put stuff in but there’s always room for more - wallet, change purse, small umbrella, small water bottle, kindle. There’s a separate small pocket in the back where I keep my phone and passport,- pocket inside for feminine products and charger cables, and a small pocket in the front for chapstick and hand lotion.

I do a lot of errands by bike, and I wanted something that could carry the basics as well as cargo acquired on those trips, such as mail and small sundries. It also needed to be sleek and stylish enough to take into a restaurant or a store without looking like I lived out of it. This bag has great internal organization and good access to basics thanks to the exterior pockets. It is bulky as a crossbody bag, but I usually wear it as a backpack and appreciate how the tote handles complement the straps. The only change I would make is to add a sternum strap to keep the bag from shifting when it is loaded.
