The power step kids sport was purchased for a child so I cannot attest to the "comfort". I purchased it to add some area to the shoe because the child has a narrow foot and medium width shoes do not fit. Arch support was not necessary and just by looking at it, you can tell that there is no real arch support to it. (I have seen prescription orthotics and able to make a proper comparison) It does have spongy feel to it so I would imagine that it would work well to add to tennis shoes. Dressy type shoes are a nightmare to fit because children's shoes are not made in narrow widths. It works for what I purchased it for. The shoe has a 'better' fit. The size matched perfectly to a pair of hush puppy dress shoes with a velcro strap. It does have a rather vibrant green color to it which is a bit of a drawback but it can't be seen when the shoe is worn.

These insoles provide more support than the Pinnacle - a unique combination of upper comfort and lower firmness. Excellent for walking long distances and fairly easy to move from one pair of shoes to another. As someone with plantar fasciitis and high arches, I appreciate the excellent arch support.

Just enough support, not too much. Bought to help with mild plantar fasciitis, works for me. Not running super long distances but for everyday running, seem to be fine.

I think with regular wear this will help with stretching my plantar fascia and also my Achilles’ tendon. The Velcro band at the top of the sock is abrasive if not adjusted carefully. The sock is one length fits all and probably it would fit better if I had larger feet and longer legs. As it is, the Velcro hits me behind the leg and isn’t very comfortable. Of course the point of this isn’t really comfort so I’ll soldier on.

I just received these and stuck them in my Timberland hiking boots that came with garbage insoles. Immediately awesome. Perfectly contoured. Just the right amount of cushiness. Slightly snug, but the boots weren't super roomy to begin with, and I bet the foam will relax a little over the first few wears. I've been wearing them around the house as I pack for our camping trip this weekend and can't wait to see how the boots do with these on a hike and how my feet feel afterward. I ordered the same size as my boot, and it fit easily. Might order the pink ones from the same line for my girly regular day boots as well lol. Not that anyone would know they were pink, but I would. Description says they're built from the same platform insole, but these are camo, so clearly they're for hiking, right?

LOVE these. I have pain in the ball of my feet and no arch (Morton's Neuroma). These inserts are really good. I am a fitness trainer and do a ton of walking and I can easily get 3-4 months out of these (keep in mind I switch out between a half a dozen different training shoes). My podiatrist said these are his top pic for OTC inserts. They fit well in any of my running/training/walking shoes (I wear 8.5 to 9 ladies). Only complaint is the colour. Couldn't they be just a bit prettier?

These orthotics fit my feet perfectly but unfortunately they didn't fit my shoes. The toe box is too narrow on the insole so my big toe was half on the insole, half on the bottom of the shoe - obviously this will not work. If you use shoes with a wide toe box (ie if you have bunions), then these insoles may not work for you. I even tried a few different sizes to see if a larger pair would fit, but they were still too narrow at the toes. Big bummer because I haven't found insoles that fit my feet and support my arches so well :(

These actually wok well for my high arch underpronating feet. I find them to be more comfortable than the Powerstep Pinnacle because they are more flexible and allow my feet to have more movement. Powerstep recommends these for underpronation.

AHHHHHH!!! Perfection!!! Now what am I going to do with all of those other 200 insoles that I have? I was afraid the instep might be too high and be annoying, but it's not. Plenty of shock absorbtion, my usual pet peeve. Not too bulky for my shoes as some have said. I don't care how much they cost, I've been looking for these forever.

These inserts helped my feet...until they started to tear at the front after 4 wears. I really wish they were more durable as they fit well in a variety of shoes. Wish they were more durable or cheaper. I can't afford to replace them every 4-5 uses.

These are awful! I usually wear the Powerstep Pinnacle inserts, and they are the best I've found so far, but not fantastic, so I thought I'd try these. My feet slide all over the place on these--the top layer is way too sliperry. Extra movement in my shoes is definitely not what I was after. These also push my feet inward to give me extra pronation--not good. I can feel the outside edge of the insert pushing on my foot, and I can even see my feet sloping in my shoes with these in. These are going back, for sure!

Pretty good insoles. I've worn them in my work boots for two months now and they've held up nicely. I wear size 14 work boots and the insoles fit perfectly so they run true to size. Not bad for the money.

Needed a cushion-soft-insole for my work boots. Tried this one as it advertised "memory foam." However, the memory foam is not that thick. I can feel the hard part of the insole under the memory foam with each step. Sent them back.

this is the first power step insole I've tried. so far it's excellent. the softest most supportive insole that I have tried. if you are a 4e wide foot then I suggest you order 1 size bigger to get the width you need. all in all the most comfort and support for the money. I have several more pair on stand by. I work on cement for 10 hrs. a day and I can tell you these will definitely cure foot fatigue. better than anything by Spenco. I speak from experience.

This has a ridge or lump across the piece in middle of foot. I have sensitive feet and I can feel that ridge - it is painful. Why it is not smooth with just arch support I don't know? If it had been mentioned in other reviews I would not have purchased. It was returned. It seem like a soft and well padded product for those w/o sensitive feet.
