I am a true 9.5, with a super narrow & skinny foot. I was told to order up a 1/2 size so I ordered the 9/9.5 and the 10. I was very surprised when I couldn’t even get my foot in the 9/9.5 and when I finally got the 10 on I couldn’t even stretch my toes all the way out. I returned both pairs and since it is late in the season and I wouldn’t get much wear out of them anyway. I’ll try the 11 next winter.

Maybe a little snug if you wanted to wear a thicker sock. However, based on warmth rating, you should not need to. I am looking for a very warm, water resistant/repellant boot with a good tread that is high enough to keep out snow when I walk my dog (hike through drifts and fields). I prefer a zipper for easy on/off. Amazing how difficult it is to find, so I was thrilled to see a hig boot with a zipper. I even excused the irridescent glitter and the platform. Knowing the reputation of Pajar, I was even more excited....until the zipper kept getting stuck as I tried to zip and unzip when I tried on. The zipper did not seem very durable either --- little too much fashion and not enough function? Since I chose to return, I will never know - but that was definitely the impression this boot left.

Seems nice: soft & warm upper boot & nothing rubs my "bony" ankles. I do need a smaller size. Other reviewers talked about the sole being STIFF & I see what they mean. My narrow heel came up (smaller size might help). Thinking of trying a DIFFERENT Pajar boot because I have a Tailor's Bunion (pinky toe) and the side wall rubber of boot might be a problem. Not sure IF the special Pajar "ice picks" need to be in the stiff sole. So I might try a Pajar with a different sole. If you don't have picky feet like mine - they could be PERFECT for you!!

I work in work snow-bound environment and therefore wear these frequently in low-snow conditions. They are super comfortable. Be aware the sole does not provide excellent traction so in slippery conditions, its best to slow your roll or wear yak trax or something similar.

The cloth inside the zipper prevented me from getting my foot into the boot so I have no idea how it fits!

I wear a 7.5 and purchased the 8-8.5 which fits perfectly. I have narrow feet and a high arch and these shoes fit like a sock. I will definitely purchase more shoes from this company.

These are good looking snow boots. I had to order up one size so I’d have room for winter socks and to tuck my pants into the boot; my normal size was too tight across the width of my foot. I love the retractable ice grippers but haven’t tried them out yet.

Lucky me! After four (!!!) attempts to find a stylish mid-calf winter boot that was both warm and waterproof, I scored with these Pajar boots. I have a very bad big toe and all the other boots cut right across it. These don't. Plus they are easy on, easy off; nice looking; WARM; and best of all, they have Pajar's instant cleats on the bottom of both soles. Slush turns to ice? Flip the cleats into position and instantly you have grip. I am delighted with these boots. And grateful.

I usually order a 40 but it was a little too small and slightly too narrow so I ordered a 41 and it fits well with my winter socks. These are well made beautiful snow boots.

I purchased the Pajar Abbie boots for my college age daughter who loves them! I took past reviewers advice and ordered up a size and a half. She typically wears a 7.5 and I ordered a 39 which fit perfectly. The quality is amazing-they are warm, waterproof, stylish and the genuine sherling gives them an extra luxurious touch. She says they are a great dupe for the Ugg Adriondack boot and are completely waterproof. She walks all over a very large campus and they are very comfortable and supportive. Highly recomend, just be sure to size up!

These keep my feet warm in cold temps. The flip side is that my feet get pretty sweaty wearing them indoors. Very comfortable.

After reading other customer’s recommendations about ordering up a size, I decided to order a size 41 (US woman’s size 10-10.5) even though my size is a 9 (as measured by my podiatrist). So very glad I did - perfect fit and really cute boots!

I think whoever packed these boots and shipped them to me must have gotten the wrong size. There is no size tag anywhere on the boot. I was supposed to get a size 36 which is equivalent to a size 6 US. I would estimate that these boots were a size 8 or 9 U.S. I like the boot, but it sure would have been nice to have received the correct size. Since there is no marking of the size on the boot I will not try to reorder in correct size.

The fit was fine although as I have small feet and most reviewers state the size is snug; my observation of fit might not be accurate for those with average or larger sizes. They keep my feet warm in the freezing temps. My only complaint - and I thought about returning these - is that the photo is deceptive - incorrect - if you are looking for a good tread. The tread is NOT what you see in the photo as what is delivered is the Lacey 2, a newer version of the boot. What is pictured is the Lacey 1, which is what I ordered and wanted - a deeper tread to deal with Boston area winters. I was extremely disappointed to have received the newer version as I specifically looked for the Lacey 1, as pictured. I have sneakers provide more tread. I decided to keep them as the ice grippers appeal - I'm just concerned about durability. My old Timberlands (20+ years old now) have deep treads which were great on snow (not so much on ice); these, when the snow is packed, the ice grippers need to be used or it is slippery (my Timberlands were fine and I suspect the original Laceys, pictured would also have been fine with their deeper tread). I'd prefer to use the grippers only on ice to reduce the chance of breakage, but I'll be having to use them more often with the Lacey 2. I don't know if I'd buy them again - I have to see how long the grippers last.

The boot looked about two sizes too small when I pulled it out of the box. It felt like it was a good size and a half too small. Also seemed very stiff like the kind of boot that would take awhile to break in. Not what I am looking for at all. This was the second pair of boots I returned to Zappos in the past month. Zappos does make returns easier and I got refunded very promptly. But I think my next pair of boots will come from a brick and mortar store. That’s a shame because I used to buy a lot of shoes from Zappos.

I wear a size 10 (USA) in just about every shoe, I started with a 43M Pajar (USA 10) and they were too small, I returned them for a 44M Pajar (USA 11) and they were still to small. Finally a 45M Pajar (USA 12) fit my foot, I would definitely order at least one full size higher than you normally wear. Great boot, high quality love the look.

I love the flexibility of being able to use them with or without the "spikes" out. They are great in Denver and will be PERFECT on the icy streets of Omaha and Kansas City too! I wish the top was a little more narrow (I have small calves). But they are warm and I get tons of compliments. Great boots!

Shoes looked cool, but had to be returned. So ridiculously narrow at the toe box it was painful. I don’t have a wide foot and don’t have a problem with any other boots. I don’t know who these shoes are made for.

I love the look of these boots! So cute both off and on. I bought them in a 41 (I'm usually always a true 9.5/10) and buy a 41 in danskos but holy moly were these tight! I put on the slimmest socks I have and they still were way too tight/narrow (and I have skinny skeleton feet). Sadly they are sold out of the tan color in a 42 so I am opting for the black in a 42. I know that if the size is correct they will be very comfortable and very warm so I'm giving 4 stars as the boot itself is pretty awesome, but the sizing is off.

I normally wear a size 9N and ordered the Pajar Lacey boot in a size 39. The fit was perfect while wearing one pair of cushioned sport socks. These apparently run narrow for some, but I liked the fit and the style of these very much. They were comfortable and seemed like they would be really warm outside. I returned them because I thought the outside soles of the boots would offer a deeper tread for walking on snow and ice. Yes, there are retractable ice cleats, but when they are not in use, I questioned whether or not the soles would work for me. I will consider this brand in the future as they seem to offer a well-made product.

DONE with Pajar. Both zippers on the left boot jam and do not fully zip closed. I already removed the tags. I will try to return, regardless. Had very same issue with another pair I ordered from Pajar last year. Cute styles but poorly made.
