The Dusty Down Jacket
This is a nice substantial rain jacket. I am 5'3" 125 lbs. I originally ordered a Medium and it was WAY too big. I exchanged it for a small and it is perfect, while still being extra roomy for thick layers. The sleeves are a little long for me, but not a big deal. I love the thickness and the length which provides more leg coverage than other rain jackets. I bought this jacket for winter on the Oregon coast, which can get quite rainy. I do prefer warmer jackets in general, so this was a clear winner for me. The jacket runs much bigger than the Northface Venture 2 and the Marmot Precip, both of which I ordered in a Medium. I returned the Northface Venture 2 because it was too short. I decided to keep the Marmot Precip (M) along with the Obermeyer (S) because they actually serve different purposes. The Obermeyer is thicker, longer, warmer, and will hold up well in a thunder storm. The Marmot Precip is quite thin, really just a shell, and will be useful during a light rain in spring or tropical rain in climates where I don't need warmth.

This is a really great jacket for fall. I live in the Midwest, so it can be pretty chilly in the mornings, and as the temperatures turn more towards winter, it works well for the afternoons/evenings as well. It has a nice weight to it without being overly heavy, and I think it will make a great travel jacket for the airplane as well. I'm really happy with this purchase, and happy I went ahead and splurged! For the record, I usually wear a Medium in tops, but sized up to a Large for this so I could wear it over long-sleeved, bulkier tops without any issue. It fits great!

This jacket really looked great on line. I ordered a small and a medium. Small was too tight in the arms and shoulders. Medium fit better, but was too wide on the bottom and, what I felt, was too long. The collar is really tall; a hood would be better served, although I do understand this is a ski jacket and the collar would be appreciated on the lifts! The biggest disappointment, however, was the color. The black looks deep and shiny and the white, blue, and red really pop out ON THE WEBSITE. I was so excited because I really liked the color combination. In realty, the black is not deep, is somewhat flat looking, and the colors are also flat looking and not bright in the least. The white looks DULL. Super disappointed there! Couldn't justify keeping it for the price. Maybe if it goes for sale I might purchase and have the bottom on the medium tailored to fit better.

I’m 5’ and 112 pounds. The size 6 of these pants were a little large, especially in the waist. I am returning them. They appear well constructed.

These are very attractive and warm pants. However, they simply don’t fit well. Too small around the butt area.

Cut very, very close to the body and small. I'm not exceedingly large-headed (I don't think) but I could barely get my head through and it felt like I was strangling.

Love these pants! True to size - I’m 5’8 138 - size 8L is perfect. Really warm with great mobility.

I love this jacket! I originally got a 4 thinking I’d need extra room but then returned it to get a 2. It’s a beautiful coat, well made and sturdy. I always get compliments on it. It has lots of pockets and the hood is removable if desired.

The quality is great and love the style, but runs small. I am a Small on The North Face and most brands, so I ordered a Small on this top, but when I got it out of the bag I could already tell it was tiny. I would say the Small fits like an XXS. So I ordered an M, it fits, but I can only wear a thin under layer. I should probably have gone with L, which I have never done before. FYI, I am 5.8’, 132 lbs and fit. I wanted something to run in 20 to 30 degrees weather and I don’t need to layer up too much and thats why I kept it.

These were super cute, and comfortable! Unfortunately (as is the case with most snow/ski/snowboard pants) they have snaps, which i hate, because unless they are industrial strength can come undone an inopportune times (like getting off the lift). These pants were no exception, and would unsnap while i did my usual ski-pant-try-on-routine of squats, forward folding, basic getting on/off the lift moves. Because of that, they were returned... ain’t nobody got time to keep re-snapping their pants all day so they don’t fall down whilst on the mountain. It made me sad to send them back because they were actually flattering, and as stated above, super comfortable.

I wanted to love this jacket so much! The quality seems good (have not actually worn it), but the cut is not as flattering as pictures. The waist down is too loose and is not slimming. In fact, the belly puffed out and made me look 6 months pregnant! I'm 5/8", 130 lbs, and wear a size 4... I ordered a size 6 because the 4 was not in stock, and I though with bulkier clothing underneath it would be a good fit. Shoulders, upper body, and sleeve length were great... The bottom half needs improving.... I may order a size 4, if/when it is in stock to try because I do really like the jacket overall.

This is a great vest for any cool weather. It’s very light weight and super warm. I have received a lot of comments on it. Highly recommend.

Jacket pockets were oddly shallow, body length shorter than many, not to so functional for hiking and outdoor activities. Perhaps this jacket would be fine just for a running errands, but not suitable for me.
