Norma Kamali Everlast women’s clothing is designed by well known designer, Norma Kamali. Norma Kamali majored in fashion illustration at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City. After graduating, she took a job with an airline and vacationed in London during the mid 1960’s. Norma was fascinated by the styles during that time. In 1968, Norma Kamali opened a boutique featuring European fashion in New York City. Her shop became a success. Not one to rest on her laurels, Norma Kamali then decided to design her own clothing line using parachutes. In 1975, she designed her famous sleeping bag coat. A pioneer of fashion, Norma Kamali has had a multitude of successes since her beginnings.
