Got these shoes for mountain biking and they work great. They're very flat and don't have arch support - which is what you need to get peddle grip. Love the style - make my feet look smaller. Wear a women's 10 and they're true to size, even being a mens/womens shoe. Good width for slightly wide feet.

Amazing looking shoes that I was so excited to receive. Initially they fit ok length wise, but seemed a bit tight. No problem I thought, my feet are a bit wide and shoes take a few days to stretch out width-wise to accommodate my feet comfortably. Not even a full 8 hour day later I noticed that the shoe seem on the outer right foot had split, leaving the outside edge of my foot exposed. Hopefully I can get a refund because I essentially just threw my money away on these weak shoes.

These are skateboard shoes! NOT regular shoes. These have no sole, no padding, no comfort at all!

The shoes squeak very loud. I don't care too much especially if I am skating. But if you are not a skater (which I assume most aren't they like the style) don't buy.

This shoe needs to stay in the NB lineup. A classic. I bought it to skate and it feels great. The toe is very resistant. Way more comfortable than Chuck Taylors. I definitely would buy this shoe again, both to skate and to wear casually.

Overall, the shoes look and feel good. The colors of the ones I bought (gray/navy 1) definitely seem lighter than the images shown though, both the gray and the blue.

Love this shoe. The color is a little more cream than pink, is still awesome.

After sizing up a half-size, these are PERFECT for my SLIGHTLY WIDER FOOT. After sizing up in OTHER narrow sk8 shoes, they'd still be too long in the toe, and my heel would pop up. But not these. - Been skating Griffins for a decade (herringbone tred), but these are a nice change. A strong vulc sole with good upper support. Grip is perfect (maby better). Has a thick removable insole. Toe is not overly rounded, and has some shape. A more modern fit around the heel. Padded tounge and collar. Feet are not sore after long sessions. Seems very well made. Extremely happy.

it was shaped like a pear. it was skinny in the back and fat in the front. It's really hard to ollie in them, but they did have a good grip and board feel.

The fit is excellent. They are snug but not loose. I've seen some bad reviews of these shoes but I've been skating since the 80s and these are the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned in general. I'll definitely get another pair when these are worn down. The sole is like walking on a memory foam they are stupid comfy. They are a little different to get used to when it comes to riding a board but after a day or so I've adjusted my footing. All in all, I would say 10 out of 10.

The fit a bit tighter than expected with a little running on outside edge of foot but they break in well. Just a flatter shoe than a typical new balance sneaker so be prepared for that. But they are comfy and are nice looking shoes.

Fit is true to size. Not as narrow as Adidas, but not overly wide. Outsole and upper is sturdy. Insole looks great, removable medium thick cusion. Looks like the Lakai ones sorta. This is a canvas and suede mix. Good ventilation. All around good shoe, no complaints. Outsole looks like the 379s, and fit is probably the same as those, based on other reviews. I am impressed by New Balance, I have to say. These should sk8 good.

DOPE shoes. The quality is great, the black suede and leather accents give it a solid feel. As a result these don't breathe but that is not a problem for me. The NB logo is reflective. I'm a woman and got a Mens 6/Women's 7.5. I am usually 7.5 in Womens and these fit perfectly. There is mild arch support which is nice for a skate shoe. If you have wide feet I can see this being an uncomfortable fit for you.

Day 1 - I have a narrow foot and these feel tight, so the other reviews are correct. If you're buying this shoe for that New Balance known width, might want to buy as wide as you can or look into a different model. I know this is a skate shoe and it is built-up. It's comfortable, but a bit stiff. I'm expecting it to break in nicely though. Love the look. Very clean design. Thanks!

When I first put on these shoes they seemed to fit properly. As soon as I got the delivery I tried them on to see if they fit and then put them back into the box. The next morning I put on the shoes and started my errands for the day; by the afternoon my small toe on my right foot was rubbing up against the top of the shoe. Though I had only worn them for about 8 hours, I didn't feel I could return the shoes because they had been noticeably worn. They were supposed to be wide width but they didn't feel like it to me.

Fit not an issue, although the toe box is slightly snug. Which I would expect to improve upon wearing. Item is attractive and a good value. Distressing to read an advisory note tucked inside that begins: "In the case of exposure to moisture, you may experience color migration onto the lighter sections of the shoe." Not a problem for me because I don't live in a rainy climate, but others may want to know about this anomaly.

I have tried a couple of different pairs of the Numerics previously and found them to be real toe-pinchers -- not so much narrow, but too tight from the uppers squeezing downward. The 440s are a perfect fit.

For being labeled as a Skateboard Shoe, the durability of these shoes is terrible. I have about 6 hours worth of skateboarding in wearing these shoes and there is already a hole in the common Ollie spot (outside of front foot, near the toes) as seen in the attached photo. DO NOT buy these shoes if you intend to skateboard with them! I am extremely disappointed with these shoes.
