Mia Kids

Mia Kids Logo
MIA Shoes' children labels focus on trendy, kid-appropriate footwear for girls ages newborn to tweens. Many of the styles are taken directly from the women’s line to perpetuate the “Mommy and Me” concept which helped launch the brand back in the early nineties. In 1991, Richard Strauss was inspired by the birth of his daughter Sydney to create a fashionable and modern line of shoes for kids. Not satisfied with the traditional styles and quality that were being offered in girls’ footwear, the MIA KIDS label was a natural progression for the already established MIA SHOES. With styles for ages newborn through toddlers in Mini MIA and girls sizes nine through four in MIA Kids, MIA children’s division has all stages of the growing girl covered. Maintaining a balance between quality and styling, the MIA KIDS design group continues to deliver, season after season, an exciting collection of kid’s fashion.

My daughter likes these but even going a size down they are loose around her ankle. She wants to keep them anyway, so we will see how they wear.

Love the look but the straps were way too wide no matter what size we ordered. They were never going to fit right:( We were sad we had to return them!

Even though my daughter loved these she found them hard to walk in, so we returned them. At first I thought it might be because they run a little big, but then we decided it’s because the ankle strap is a Velcro closure and not super secure. Too bad because they’re super on trend and cute!

These looked so cute and classic online, but the leather is not as pretty in person. Also, they definitely run big — especially around the toe strap.

These shoes have the "older girl" look with the support and comfort needed to run and jump on the playground. The buckle is really a fake for looks as these are fastened with velcro, which really allows a snug fit even for narrower feet. Color is pretty and brighter silver than pictured. Soles are rugged rubber with "grip" grooves on the bottom

My daughter normally wears a size 5 Nike. I couldn't believe that after first ordering the size 5, we ordered the 4 and then finally the size 3 to get them to fit. They are so cute I figured they were worth another try but the sizing was the most off out of any shoe we've ever purchased.

My daughter loves these! They are also durable, able to withstand constant use by an active child.

These are very cute. I do think they run slightly big but a thick sock helps. They are great and seem to be made well.

These boots do look very cute, but my daughter decided to get the Blowfish Kids "Sava-K" instead of these. She did not find these as comfortable and she thought she would trip over the fringe (she is very active). Also, when putting them on, she found the zipper very hard to close.

Very cute and stylish. A little big but nothing a thicker sock won’t help with. Great purchase!

Super cute but way too big. Bought a girls size 5 and it was bigger than a Nine West size 6 girls bootie. Need to exchange for smaller size ??

My daughter loves them. They look a little narrow for her wide feet but she insists that they are ok. Super cute.

Perfect fit, my daughter has a narrow heel and they didn’t slip when she walked. She wore them all day with no complaints! The color is great and looked so cute with her dress!
