Loeffler Randall

Loeffler Randall Logo
Jessie Randall

Jessie Randall was inspired as a young girl by her stylish grandmother's chic, understated aesthetic. This early influence combined with Jessie's innate appreciation for subtle, feminine elegance is what defines her collection Loeffler Randall.

In 1998, after graduating from the University of Virginia, Jessie moved to New York and met Brian Murphy, an Art Director, who is now her husband and business partner. A creative spirit himself, Brian encouraged Jessie to follow her heart and pursue her love of fashion. After studying fashion design at Parsons and F.I.T., Jessie worked under Katayone Adeli, a designer whose strong, modern design sensibility she admired. It was later, during her tenure at Gap Inc., that Jessie began to focus on her first passion, accessory design.

Loeffler Randall was born out of Jessie's quest to find the shoes that she wanted to wear but could not find - shoes that possessed an understated elegance, were well made, and undeniably feminine. With this distinct point of view, Jessie and Brian saw an opportunity to bring something new to the shoe market. Loeffler Randall debuted for Fall/Winter 2005, with Jessie designing the collection and Brian responsible for branding and marketing. The collection was an instant success, with styles like the signature Matilde flat boot quickly becoming a staple among fashion editors and celebrities alike. Loeffler Randall's mix of refined sophistication and downtown cool filled a niche in the shoe market and was embraced both critically and commercially.

Loeffler Randall continues to grow each season with over 200 accounts worldwide. The collection is carried by many of the world's finest retailers including Bergdorf Goodman, Harvey Nichols and United Arrows. It can also be found in luxury department stores Neiman Marcus and Barneys New York, among others.

Building on the company's success, Loeffler Randall debuted their Fall/Winter 2007 ready-to-wear Collection to immediate praise.

In June 2007, Jessie was thrilled to win the CFDA Swarovski Award for Accessory Design (she was previously nominated in Spring 2006) and just weeks later give birth to two healthy and happy twin boys, Liam and Casper.

Very comfortable boots. With regard to sizing, unless you have narrow feet I suggest going up half size. I usually wear a 7 but in these boots I went with a 7.5

Beautiful bootie. I’m consistently a 7.5 in most shoes but in these I definitely needed the 8. Size up a half size.

These are super cute and definitely more of a statement boot. I wear a solid 8.5 and the boots were exactly the right size.

my regular size 8 1/2 feels very tight, they did not have a 9, I tried 9 1/2 and it fits better but is not snug enough throughout the top of the foot and the ankle making it look weird on. It's supposed to fit like a sock, but the size that fits comfortably does not look stylish. So returning both sizes . For that price point, i want the look that is expected.

I love these. TTS. For a girl who spent her youth breaking in heavy Doc Martens, these are heavenly light and comfy. Very little support, unlike my old Docs. But these are amazingly comfortable right out of the box. I’m always a 7 and I bought a 7. It’s a perfect fit. And there’s room for socks bc these won’t be that warm. They are stretch fabric. It’s a nice heavy substantial fabric, tho. So your feet will be fine in 50-60 degrees in tights or light socks. They are easy to get on when you use the pull tab in the back. Getting them on with heavier socks might prove more difficult but it’s worth it bc the tops don’t gap open like other boots. They feel like you are wearing heavy support hose on your ankles and lower calf. Very flexible. The close fit will make them great with midi skirts. I haven’t worn combat boots with a skirt since my Doc days. Very easy to walk in. Very comfy. Not much support or padding tho. The only thing I’d change is more padding in the foot. LR’s rep said they only run long if you have narrow feet. Size down 1/2 if you have narrow feet. I’ll wear them with socks with a bit of padding on the bottom. These are great looking, light weight combat boots!! Love, love, love!!! Brilliant LR!

So comfortable & stylish. I wear a 10.5 and that's what I ordered. Perfect fit. Love that they offer 1/2 sizes which are hard to find. My favorite pair of tennis shoes! I bought the Haircalf/Off-White. Tempted to buy the other color.

These were quite a challenge to get on! Much like trying to pull a compression stocking over your foot. Once on, they were reasonably comfortable due to the stretchy, adjustable upper and were very warm and chic-looking. Unfortunately, I need more arch support and the insole on these is not removable.

This brand seems to run on the smaller side, and although I am usually a 7, these were a tad too short. The toe box is definitely only for more narrow feet, or try ordering a half size up. Beautiful shoe, but a little too much money...I may keep looking. I was really hoping for the Emilia in silver, but it is frustrating that LR only makes silver in the higher heel model. I wonder how they make those decisions!

These sandals have a sleek, streamlined look to them and were even mentioned in a Wall Street Journal article on flip-flops! The strap is quite thin and I don't know how firmly attached it is, but I didn't get a sense that they would break too easily. It's also fairly snug, so I don't think you would need to worry about them, well, flopping around too much. To me, they seem to run a bit small, since I usually wear a 6.5 or a 7 and the 6.5s were kind of short on me. They are also probably better-suited to someone with slim feet--my feet are slightly wide with a tendency to swell, but I typically don't have a problem with normal-width sandals and I was almost hanging off the side of these. I'm going to try them in a 7 because I love the style and really want them to work (thank you Zappos for your awesome return policy!), but overall I think these will be more of a winner for people with slim, narrow feet.

I bought these shoes as they are a bit spunky and would elevate any black suit/separate outfit. Overall the fit of the shoe is great, and they look great on my 8.5M foot. However, I have really come to dislike the elastic bands now popular with slingbacks. If they do not fit perfectly, they ruin the fit of the shoe. The sling on these kept sliding up and down on my Achilles, with the shoe slapping against my foot. I am sadly sending them back.

So cute! Got so many compliments and was able to wear these all night for a wedding without issues. I’m an 8.5 or 9 and went with 9 for this. I think I have wider feet and 8.5 were too small for me.

This mule is gorgeous and comfortable !!! I wore them to a black tie occasion and they were perfect. I have one foot that has issues around the the toes and outside of foot next to little toe, and because it is fabric, it never touched the area. I had no pain and walking in them was great and I even danced for a couple hours. This mule also comes in a higher height, but didn't want to take the chance. I wear a size 9 medium. They are worth the price.

Oh my goodness these are the most adorable little kitten-heeled boots ever. They are made of soft stretchy suede that fits like a sock. How do they do that?? They look great with cropped jeans and with dresses. The heel height is very walkable. I'm still looking for wedding shoes, but meanwhile, I'm keeping these.

These shoes are absolutely stunning! Definitely show stoppers! They seem to run a tad small as I am usually between an 8 and 8.5 and went with 8.5. I couldn’t find these shoes available anywhere! Finally came available at Zappos and were on sale! Thanks Zappos!
