Snug fit. Comfortable. Not waterproof, which is why i bought gore-tex shoes.

Loved this shoe, but my bunion didn't. Other than that, the shoe was true to size, felt very supportive, and looked great. only real criticism I had was it didn't have a loop to help pull it on.

The shoes was a terrific fit with regular socks. Lighter than La Sportiva Akyra GTX. If you wear a sock liner and sock, a little tight fit. For trail runs during summer this is the perfect shoe.

Very comfortable. The stretchy part above the heel keeps pebbles from entering the boot. Boots are already falling apart after 5 hikes. Typically I wear out the tread in my boots in one hiking season. If the boot falls apart at the same time no big deal for me. If they don't last that long then I'll be unhappy.

I normally wear a 39 or 40 but in La Sportiva I have to go up a size which is why I ordered the 41. That said, I think I should have gone with the 40.5 as they are a bit bigger than I like. I also own the Lycan II, and those fit me perfectly at size 41 right out of the box. These are cushy and comfortable but I got a blister on my heel on my first hike so I haven't worn them for anything more than around town walking. I think maybe a set of Superfeet insoles would help.

Hands down love these shoes. I typically wear a 39 or 40 but in these shoes the 41 fits perfectly. I added Superfeet insoles for extra support. I actually just ordered a second pair because I have been walking/hiking quite a bit and I want to be sure I have a replacement pair available in case they sell out.

This shoe felt absolutely fantastic on my wide-ish foot with very high arch. Like walking on a cloud. Wonderful! Once they were on. But getting them on was no easy task!! I already have some minimal New Balance that I love that are hard to get on (though not as hard as this) and I don't wear them on days that I know I will have to have them on and off several times, so I regretfully pass on these.

Great hiking shoe! I live in Utah and frequently go hiking on a large variety of terrain. These have been awesome from slickrock and sand in Moab to rocky mountain trails. They’re also comfortable enough to walk on pavement. My feet and legs are much less fatigued at the end of the hike. I have widish foot and like a wider toe box, these fit really well. No breaking in needed, hiked over 15 miles first time wearing them and they were comfortable. My only complaint is that they aren’t waterproof, a little water goes right to your sock.

I'm usually a 9.5, occasionally a 10 in running shoes. True to my previous La Sportivas, I sized up to 43.5 (10.5) for these and the fit was spot on. I have a low volume and somewhat narrow foot and these felt tight all around the midfoot (in a good way). However, I did have a decent amount of heel slip with these shoes, something I haven't experienced in other La Sportivas. The heel slip was enough that I'm not going to keep them. Otherwise, these are incredibly grippy and lightweight trail runners. Bummed they didn't fit just right.

I have owned 6 pairs of this shoe and love them. I hate the new colors though. Can you guys bring back the original colors?

I wanted to love these on the first try! They are classic looking boots without being too glaringly retro. I like the mix of synthetic and leather. They have nice soles, seem very well made, and I think would be really comfortable for someone with the right foot shape. I have average width feet and was nervous about La Sportiva shoes because I heard they run very narrow. For me, it wasn't the width, but the height of the shoe over the ball of my foot that did not work. The top of the shoe was pressing down too hard to be comfortable for me for anything else but walking around the house. These will likely fit someone with an average to narrow foot, but their foot also needs to not be very thick, if that makes sense.

Love this product—it's my 4th pair—was desperate for a new pair, and love that Zappos could deliver so promptly during the pandemic!

They seem to be very nice shoes. My wife has a pair of this brand and she loves them; however, my shoes were very narrow and I could not walk in them. I will check the website to see if La Sportiva comes in wides.

I wore Bushido I day in, day out for two years. Absolutely loved them. Then a puppy nibbled on them, and they also started showing wear. Bushido II's are a bit different. Gorgeous colors if you like teals and turquoise and grays. Very solid, quality construction. A tiny bit more narrow than Bushido I but I have a medium to somewhat wide foot and they fit just fine. I got my usual sneaker size and they fit just right. I would have loved a bit more high arch support but that's hard to find. So - fits fine size-wise and normal width-wise. Quality - superb. High arches? - might want to swap the insole for a specialty one.

I love this shoe; this is my third pair. However, the shoe box looked like it was opened and the right side shoe was apparently already tried on. The laces were undone and hanging outside the shoe and there was no ball of tissue stuck inside the shoe like you normally have with a brand new shoe. I do not appreciate getting a used shoe, even if it was just tried on once and returned. I will keep these shoes, but do not want returned shoes again.

I have been looking for lightweight hiking shoes for a while. I was worried that la Sportiva shoes would be made too narrow for my foot but these are perfect!!! I wear a 9-91/2 so I ordered the 41+ and they fit like they were made for my feet. They have a good amount of cushion and the arch isn’t too high which was a problem with other shoes. These shoes seem supportive and sturdy. I like the toe being covered and the traction on the bottom. Plus these are really cute too! I’m thrilled that the hunt for hiking shoes is over!!!

Unfortunately made in China; Top quality built, light and comfortable. Lace syst. Is good but laces o.d. Very small/ kinda cheesy. L.S. imported used to mean other than China. Impressed w/quality tho.

I always love the fit and durability of La Sportiva. The shoe is designed for light hikes- not waterproof or anything, very breathable. While very simple in design, when I pull the laces I'm amazed at how well it grips my feet-- super design!! Obviously not trendy/sporty in color/shape, but terrific light hiking shoe

I liked how this shoe looked. However it was much narrower and shorter than I thought it should be.

OMG I Instantly love them so comfortable and they look awesome absolutely perfect!!!!!

This shoe looked really cute, but was too snug in the toe box area. I could tell that it wouldn't be comfortable for wearing a long time. Maybe for running or walking it would be fine since motion helps with blood flow, but I often walk somewhere and then sit and enjoy the place, and given the snugness these are not sitting shoes.

The “width” rating does not tell the whole story. These shoes are great for feet like mine that are medium to wide in the forefoot and narrow in the heel. They also are very accommodating in terms of low-volume feet and a big toe that points upward a bit. As far as length goes I would recommend ordering one half to one full size larger than usual. It is awesome to find shoes that offer a good amount of room in the toe box yet also fit snugly everywhere else. I will be using these primarily for general trail/light-hiking needs.

I wear a 13 comfortably in about every type of shoe. This ran at least a half size too small. Also, the mid section was incredibly tight around the foot. I thought the laces were too tight, but after checking them in the end the shoe is just incredibly tight in this region. I love La Sportiva, just wish they would update their sizing as this is a common complaint with a lot of their shoes.

I adore these shoes. In fact, I'm planning on purchasing another pair because I'm worried any changes to newer models will make these not as great as they are now. I mountaineer and hike and was experiencing lots of knee pain with my hiking boots. I switched to these trail runners and my knee pain is gone, yet they are as grippy as my approach shoes made for mountaineering. In fact, I now wear them to do my workouts in the gym. Basically, I just wear the sh*t out of them because they are the best shoes ever. I normally wear a 9 in an athletic shoe but these ran small so a 9.5 fit like a 9. Also, I'm on the narrow side of a B width and these shoes seem to be made more narrow than other trail runners I've tried on, so they fit perfectly.
