The most ridiculous sizing I've ever seen in a shoe, literally. I'm on the 3rd pair and they still don't fit. I've worn a men's 9-1/2 (42.5) shoe since high school. The size marked "42.5" is more like a ladies 9-1/2 not a men's. I'm up to an 11 and they barely fit still! Beautiful shoes. Love the styling. And when I could manage to get them on my foot, they seem comfortable... But WOW, they really need to adjust their sizing. I won't bother with La Sportiva again.

They are very comfortable, looks great, not to overbearing color wise like you are heading to a parade and very trendy. The key is to let these show, so stay away from bell foot pants. (see me at the office) One key test, if you must sit for long time at a desk, and you can feel the sole of your feet getting warm, and the lacing not too tight, then you know, this is not the style you should be wearing. If you like flat fitted shoes, this will not work. They tend to run a bit small, so going an .5 size up, and that will work. The only down size for me is the price setting at a government desk. However, Zappos have some good deals, great customer service, so keep your eyes

I have not done any outdoor activities, but it felt great, true fit, and comfortable. It also looks very nice and trendy. Thank to Zappos return policy, I was able to find this brand from a replacement of another brand that did not fit as intended. I hope they continue this business practice unlike some others out there who believe restocking free is a way to keep customers and generate revenue. Overall, love this these shoes. I have ordered another model from the same brand.

The shoes are very pretty color, but look a dowdy. They feel like they'd be very supportive comfortable shoes, if I could only find the right size. I feel La Sportiva tends to run small and a bit narrow. I'm a US 8 with a moderate width but high volume foot and the 39 & 40 are too small. I may try again with the 40.5.

Awesome shoes but I prefer 0 drop. Super comfortable and well made! Lower the drop and you’d have a real winner!

I wish I would have ignored the sizing up comments. Now I had to return them and get my true size. I usually wear 10.5 in Nike, Salomon, etc. I ordered 11 in these and they were a bit too long, so I’m guessing the 10.5 will fit fine. I will say that just trying them on, they felt AMAZING. I never thought I would put a shoe on that felt better than my speedcross out of the box, but holy crap. Will update when the new size comes in.

Aggressive styling. A big clunky heal. Great grip. Felt true to size.overall a great show which I recommend. I'm not sure how much trail running can be done in this because the heel is so big. There isn't much lateral support either. I used to wear Salomons but new models have become too narrow for my feet. La Sportiva is a good alternative. Overall, I recommend.

I ordered a half size larger than I normally wear and the shoe was still very tight. The lacing system is cumbersome. I could not evaluate any other aspect because I returned the shoes.

Seems like a really solid nice shoe. I bought two sizes to ensure proper fit. It is true you need to buy a half size larger unless you like a really snug fit.

These approach shoes have a lacing system that is comfortable even when laced tight. Since approach shoes need to fit snug, that is important. However, the shoe is built pretty wide, so even wearing the thickest pair of socks I own, I could still move side to side in them. That will cause issues on the trail, so I am sending them back. If you have a wide or high volume foot, I suggest you try the medium width first. Note, these can accommodate your orthotics and the rubber is super sticky. They even look good!

These were a gift, but the recipient plans to wear them to walk the el camino and loves them. Apparently very comfortable.

I’m really happy with this trail runner. I usually wear a 7.5W, wide due to bunions, but I have a narrow heel. I purchased both the 39 and 39.5, and felt most comfortable in the 39.5. Plenty of room in the toe box. I have only used these hiking in dry conditions, but they gripped steep slabs just fine going up and down, and did great in wet stream crossings. I stepped in water and my foot stayed relatively dry, and dried quickly. These shoes breathe well. I cannot attest to their performance on wet rocks, but I’m hopeful they will be great.

I purchased these to run a Spartan Beast. I needed a good shoe that would support my feet long distance! At my last Spartan Beast i wore the Reebok All Terrain shoes and i liked the fit and arch support but they lacked ankle support. I'm a 6.5 in regular shoes, 7 in running shoes (I wear Mizuno Wave Inspires) and I ended up with a 7.5 in these. I have a wide foot, narrow heel, high arch, and flexible ankles. THESE SHOES WERE AWESOME! For the race they provded the right amount of grip for mud, water, and a rocky terrain. Didn't hold on to too much water, stayed tied, stayed tight. Provided excellent ankle support for running on trails and rocks. Highly recommend trying these out if you sound like me! I ordered about 9 shoes from Zappos to try them all on and narrowed it down to these, so so happy! Also wore Injinji toe socks, medium weight trail mini crew ankle socks if anyone needs recommendations for those! Keep dirt out and no blisters after 13 miles!

Now this is a shoe! I should say sneaker! I have been shopping around for sneakers and have been so disappointed with everything I've tried. I have been an avid Nike customer for years but have become disappointed with their quality, they are expensive yet their quality is getting worse and worse. In my search for sneakers I have tried Asics and Mizunos - different styles, and none worked; either poor quality or a bad fit/construction. These were expensive but from the 1st moment I tried them on... they felt like gloves. The width is perfect, the shoe simply molded to my feet, the structure of the shoe felt almost like I was wearing a perfectly fitted sock. I walked around in my house for a while because I thought it was too good to be true. When I tried them on the next day... same magical fit! I kept them and have loved them since. I walk a lot, and the terrain is not always smooth, these shoes are very stable and you feel the ground you are walking on. If you are looking for cushioned sneakers, these may not work for you because they are not cushion on the soles of the feet. You can feel the ground, rocks and tree branches you are walking over but that allows me to feel the ground more and keeps my feet from sliding all over in the shoe itself. I do wish however they were a bit more cushioned for really long walks, but when I wear them to work, and am off my feet most of the day, I forget I'm even wearing the sneakers, that is how comfortable they are on my feet. After really longs hikes my feet tend to hurt a bit because of the lack of cushion but given that, I still am very happy with them. The arch is placed further back in the shoe compared to say Asics or Nike but for my feet, it is perfect placement. The only other thing I wish was different... they are made in China. Love these sneakers! (I did buy the 40.5 even though I normally wear an 8.5.)

I ordered these in my normal size, and they were just a tad too small. Ordered 1/2 size up and they're perfect. We and played 36 holes of disc golf on first day of wearing these and they are awesone. Very comfy, good grip, and they look great.

I was looking for either a lightweight hiking shoe or a more serious trail runner for a 3 day trek on Vancouver Island, so I bought 12 different styles of Gore-Tex trail runners and light hikers to evaluate. I have la sportiva 4-season mountain boots, so I was really excited to try these...until I realized that I had a brain-fart and bought these non-Gore-Tex shoes! They are really comfy with a great sole, just like you'd expect from la sportiva. It's a stabilizing shoe, so they move and flex a little less than I would like in a trail runner (I wear adidas outdoor adizeros or the new balance minimus trail shoe here in florida), but I think for mountain running on slippery or loose surface they would be great. I have narrow feet though, so I still prefer the adidas outdoor line, which does run on the narrow side.

I was looking for either a lightweight hiking shoe or a more serious trail runner for a 3 day trek on Vancouver Island, so I bought 12 different styles of Gore-Tex trail runners and light hikers to evaluate. This is the pair that I ended up keeping. The Gore-Tex is breathable. The shoes have fantastic soles & traction, but are still relatively lightweight. If I want my ankle to be really mobile, I can loosen the top but still have protection from water all the way to my ankle. These can be tightened quite a bit to assist with stability when you want to really move quickly downhill with any kind of weight on your back. Hopefully the build quality is as good as it looks - I'll report back after my trek! I have a narrower foot and found these to be TTS - I'm a size 8 and kept the 8s.

These are TTS (I'm an 8 with a narrower foot, 8 fits perfectly). These are excellent shoes, lightweight, flexible, with a serious sole and serious traction. I liked these, but kept the la sportiva Core High GTX because I think the high tops will be better suited to our trek, but I would definitely consider this shoe if you're looking for a gore-tex mid or high top.

The shoes look cool and feel super comfortable, but the soles after two weeks of walking and running stared to wear out really badly. The same happened to my friend. I do not recommend this shoes.
