This top is absolutely gorgeous. The embroidery is beautiful. The only thing that made me send it back was the price. Just couldn't justify spending that much, no matter how beautiful.

Johnny Was kimonos and free form jackets run larger. I typically wear a 1X - 2X but order a standard XL in this brand and it fits with room. I love this kimono. I'm not lanky or swanky enough to wear this as a regular wrap with jeans, but it's become one of my favorite at home "hostess" looks. The silk is soft and flows nicely. lt's rather thin and compared to other items I've ordered from the brand, it's not made quite as nicely, but I decided to keep it because it feels so good. One thing about Zappos and clothing shipping though - Even when you order a $200+ item, it's just thrown into a box along with shoes or whatever and the item arrives looking like you dragged it from the bottom of your laundry basket. No cool, Zappos!

The dress was gorgeous but runs large. I am typically a solid 14 in dresses, 10/12 in pants and this was very large on me. Fabric and print was beautiful.

Beautiful top, arrived quite wrinkled . . . stuffed into a tiny plastic bag . . . . Sigh. I bought a L, usually wear an XL, and it was slightly too small -- the high waist seam just isn't loose enough so I'm returning it. Vivid colors, great drape, unusual style -- I'm going to wear it as a jacket as well as a blouse. Be great over my sleeveless black dress in the cooler months.

I was disappointed. The colors were lovely, the fabric was rich & soft. However, it was large and not stylish. I returned it.

Sleeves too tight, body too flare-ish. For the price point I expected better.

Disappointed. The most beautiful fabric on this kimono is on the inside, but it is not reversible. Order an XS, but still much too big.

I coveted this dress for so long after seeing it in the Johnny Was catalog. I am sort of between sizes right now (somewhere between a 10 and a 12) so I ordered both the medium and the large. I tried on the medium first and it fit just fine so I would say it fits a little bit on the larger side. Obviously, I didn't feel the need to even try on the large. The dress feels like a feather; I didn't feel like I even had anything on, it is that light! When the UPS man delivered my package, I couldn't believe that two dresses fit into such a small package! While that could be considered a good thing, it just seems like there should be more to a $345 dress. The style of the dress is not exactly flattering, but the pattern on the silk fabric is gorgeous. Overall, I don't think the overall styling justifies a $345 price tag. If this dress had been under $200, it might be worth looking at.
