Bought this for my nephew for a recent trip we took together. We both loved it. It is really well made and sturdy. The straps were even long enough I was able to wear the pack when we were rushing about. It has so much storage space for all his stuff: books, iPad, hoodie, snacks, water bottle, headphones, etc. The teddy that comes with it was a big hit, too. He slept with “Bear” every night of the trip. Money well spent.

We had a Kelty that didn't fit me quite right so we got this and the Osprey AG to try on. The Osprey was good but this one was amazing! My 30lb kid feels light and secure. The adjustments are simple and we can go between my 6'3" husband and 5'3" me easily. Recommend!

The bag was well made, light, and a nice color. Unfortunately, it didn't fit. It didn't fit my younger smaller daughter either so I had to return it.

Good quality, well made, relatively light weight and out of 6 different ladies backpack I tried, this one fit my torso the best. I am 5'5" and weigh 138 lbs. I will use it as an overnight bag/carry-on for the first half of a trip over seas then as a backpack while hiking. I will not be using a hydration bladder as I will use Bobble 22 oz. filtering water bottles. I find the side pockets are not deep enough to hold the bottles in place securely, but the cinch straps will take care of that. Smaller water bottles should be secure in the pockets, though. The pockets on the waist/hip belt are not big and bulky like other packs I tried... They should be perfect for small items... lipstick, small comb, breath strips and my "can't do without" cloth handkerchief. My iPhone SE fits easily in the pocket, too. I have to say that I LOVE the black with pink zippers... it had my name written all over it!

Well made, light weight and fit my curved back. My only objection is that the water bottle pockets are not deep enough and do not have cinch straps like the Deuter Speed Lite 22 SL has to hold them in.

Got 2 bags for my 3 and 4 year old. They loved them. They are super cute, color is true to the picture. Love the chest buckle on the shoulder straps. We can't wait for school to start!

I should have read the reviews before I purchased this. Like the other reviewer said, this back pack is small. No, not small - it' tiny. This back pack would be appropriate for a one year old. Seriously. This is not a school back pack. It's more like a toy for a very little child. My daughter is five and we took one look at it and started laughing. Well, I laughed, she cried.

I loved the look of this and especially liked it had a built in rain cover for day hikes in the Amazon jungle. The problem I have with it is that it is an odd structure to it that allows your back not to touch the back of the pack for less sweating; however, that structure also makes the interior of the backpack MUCH smaller. After you unzip it, the depth of it gradually decrease so as you near the bottom, it is only a few inches from front to back of the pack. I imagined much frustration trying to retrieve a jacket stuffed in the bottom or smaller objects under a larger one. You just would not be able to access it very easily. So, if keeping cool is your priority, this is the bag for you. If roominess in more important, I would keep up the search (as I am :( ).

My two year old daughter absolutely loves this bag. She puts quite a few books in it and still has room for a jacket and water bottle. The little bear that comes with it is definitely a bonus. Highly recommend this bag.

got this for my 3.5 year old daughter for the purpose of school and travel. she is about 39 inches tall. this backpack is well made, has additional pockets, mesh pockets on the sides as well as places to hook on additional things. it is a bit too tall for her but is big enough to hold everything she needs. i like that it has a "big kid" feel, i.e. not obnoxiously plastered with cartoon characters or a lot of bright colors, it's just my personal preference. adjustable straps and padded ventilation is nice. i'm hoping this will last a few years.

I just love this carrier -- comfortable for me and my daughter. The frame is solid and distributes the weight nicely. The flex is the waist belt helps make it comfortable. I was surprised how often I use the little mirror that comes with it.

Bought this for our 6 year old -- both as a school bag and to use on family camping trips. His school folder and lunch bag easily fit inside. On a recent camping trip, we were able to fit 3 short sleeved shirts, 3 pairs of shorts, 2 long-sleeved shirts, a sweatshirt, jeans, jammies and socks and underwear inside it. It holds more than I thought it would. He loves the buckles and zippered compartments.

Fits our 27 pound 15 month old really well. He can rest his head inside and fall asleep really easily on the pad by his chin. The visor that blocks the sun over him is a MUST especially if you're doing a lot in the summer. Multiple pockets and straps are very adjustable to accommodate all body types. Definitely recommend this to anyone w a little one that wants to be outdoors.

Got this backpack for my 6 year old nephew. He wanted a red backpack. He is about 42 inches tall, and this backpack was perfect for him. Not too big. It is well made, has great sturdy straps and snaps in well. Strap material is made so that it won't slide. Great backpack!

Mixed feelings. It is great if you do allot of hiking in above 80 degree weather. However due to the back only having two touch points; the shoulder harness and waist belt (the mesh back does not touch), the backpack forms a weighted angle pressure point on your lower back. Combined that the waist belt is NOT flexible like the Kid Comfort 2 it is hard to get a good fit. You might be able to wear it for a total of 5-6 hours in one day, any more than that you will be in pain. With that said, for the money the Kid Comfort 2 is a better buy and probably much more comfortable if you are not doing warm weather hiking, otherwise this is your best option.
