A very light backpack. Unfortunately the straps do not have enough padding and are too thin, so they dig into my shoulders, so I returned the item.

I ended up keeping this backpack out of all the ones I tried out. I like it a lot for these reasons: hip pockets, water bottle space, water bladder sleeve, closures, great zippers. I wish that the pack, was woman-sized for the women of today, though. The pack fit ok, and the men's fit certainly did not work. The hip pockets and shoulder straps could be farther apart. I also though that the v-shape made packing it awkward: there was a small base but big top. Forget getting to the bottom if you've filled it halfway. I used it as my only bag to travel Europe for three months, and it held up well. I think it will be a great summer pack (I traveled during the winter months).

So excited to use this bag. I was looking for a bag that would hold 2 weeks of travel items and be able to hoist it on my back for metro stairs and cobblestones in Europe, Essentially for those times when a rolling bag is a hassle. This bag seems to fit the bill. I had been using a Travel Pro 26" roller bag that I calculated to be 3,000 cubic inches so this bag is about the same volume as that large bag (even a little larger at 3,660 cu in). I have not taken it on a trip yet, but I packed up all my stuff as if I was going on a trip and carried it around the house. The back pack straps are comfortable even with a full load AND it comes with a hip strap which is super important when you are carrying a heavy load. Usually my bag weighs about 35-45 pounds when I travel (so I don't plan to carry it long term but just when I need to). The wheels are large and study and the bag rolls easily. The straps and hip belt are tucked away into a zippered compartment at the back of the bag. Only test now is to see how it manages to hold up being tossed around by the airlines.

Bought this for my nephew for a recent trip we took together. We both loved it. It is really well made and sturdy. The straps were even long enough I was able to wear the pack when we were rushing about. It has so much storage space for all his stuff: books, iPad, hoodie, snacks, water bottle, headphones, etc. The teddy that comes with it was a big hit, too. He slept with “Bear” every night of the trip. Money well spent.

My son loved this backpack! He loved the little bear that came with it, it’s a great little addition

The bag was well made, light, and a nice color. Unfortunately, it didn't fit. It didn't fit my younger smaller daughter either so I had to return it.

Good quality, well made, relatively light weight and out of 6 different ladies backpack I tried, this one fit my torso the best. I am 5'5" and weigh 138 lbs. I will use it as an overnight bag/carry-on for the first half of a trip over seas then as a backpack while hiking. I will not be using a hydration bladder as I will use Bobble 22 oz. filtering water bottles. I find the side pockets are not deep enough to hold the bottles in place securely, but the cinch straps will take care of that. Smaller water bottles should be secure in the pockets, though. The pockets on the waist/hip belt are not big and bulky like other packs I tried... They should be perfect for small items... lipstick, small comb, breath strips and my "can't do without" cloth handkerchief. My iPhone SE fits easily in the pocket, too. I have to say that I LOVE the black with pink zippers... it had my name written all over it!

Got 2 bags for my 3 and 4 year old. They loved them. They are super cute, color is true to the picture. Love the chest buckle on the shoulder straps. We can't wait for school to start!

I should have read the reviews before I purchased this. Like the other reviewer said, this back pack is small. No, not small - it' tiny. This back pack would be appropriate for a one year old. Seriously. This is not a school back pack. It's more like a toy for a very little child. My daughter is five and we took one look at it and started laughing. Well, I laughed, she cried.

I loved the look of this and especially liked it had a built in rain cover for day hikes in the Amazon jungle. The problem I have with it is that it is an odd structure to it that allows your back not to touch the back of the pack for less sweating; however, that structure also makes the interior of the backpack MUCH smaller. After you unzip it, the depth of it gradually decrease so as you near the bottom, it is only a few inches from front to back of the pack. I imagined much frustration trying to retrieve a jacket stuffed in the bottom or smaller objects under a larger one. You just would not be able to access it very easily. So, if keeping cool is your priority, this is the bag for you. If roominess in more important, I would keep up the search (as I am :( ).

My two year old daughter absolutely loves this bag. She puts quite a few books in it and still has room for a jacket and water bottle. The little bear that comes with it is definitely a bonus. Highly recommend this bag.

got this for my 3.5 year old daughter for the purpose of school and travel. she is about 39 inches tall. this backpack is well made, has additional pockets, mesh pockets on the sides as well as places to hook on additional things. it is a bit too tall for her but is big enough to hold everything she needs. i like that it has a "big kid" feel, i.e. not obnoxiously plastered with cartoon characters or a lot of bright colors, it's just my personal preference. adjustable straps and padded ventilation is nice. i'm hoping this will last a few years.

Bought this for our 6 year old -- both as a school bag and to use on family camping trips. His school folder and lunch bag easily fit inside. On a recent camping trip, we were able to fit 3 short sleeved shirts, 3 pairs of shorts, 2 long-sleeved shirts, a sweatshirt, jeans, jammies and socks and underwear inside it. It holds more than I thought it would. He loves the buckles and zippered compartments.

We got this bag as a gift over 1 year ago and it still looks great. I am buying a second bag. We use it so the kids can carry their own things for activities (karate, swimming, etc.). The pouches on the sides for their water bottles are helpful. It is not big enough to hold school papers nicely but it is a great bag.

Got this backpack for my 6 year old nephew. He wanted a red backpack. He is about 42 inches tall, and this backpack was perfect for him. Not too big. It is well made, has great sturdy straps and snaps in well. Strap material is made so that it won't slide. Great backpack!

We bought this bag for my three year old son and he has used it for two years and it looks new. He took it on the bus three days a week and it fit snow pants and boots in a pinch in the winter. During summer camp it has carried his lunch a change of clothes, small towel and whatever was the toy of the day. We have loved it, it has never overwhelmed him and is easy to spot.

I was thinking this was a book bag...I was highly disappointed to see how small this bag actually was. Other than a tablet, what can you use this bag for?
