Cloudveil
In 1997, Cloudveil began as a two-man brand with avid alpinists Brian Cousins and Stephen Sullivan who created the concept of Cloudveil while working as store managers at a specialty retail shop in Jackson Hole, WY.
The Cloudveil brand was launched with a total of 8 styles focusing on performance-oriented and functional design using innovative fabrics. The first line introduced the Serendipity Jacket and Symmetry Pant, pioneering pieces that gave Cloudveil the recognition as the first and foremost supplier of soft shell technology to the active core.
Fast forward a decade, Cloudveil has grown in reputation, popularity and infrastructure, yet every style is still focused on keeping the trust of athletes, shops and neighbors. With the Tetons still at Cloudveil's backdoor and utilized for testing grounds for each innovative style, Cloudveil remains loyal to its core values and visionary concepts. The alter upon which the first Serendipity Jacket was created still brands Cloudveil as authentic.
