ChalkTalk SPORTS was founded in 1995 in Connecticut by a family immersed in the youth sports world.

With three sons deeply involved in hockey and lacrosse, Julie—the mom behind it all—spent countless hours on the sidelines, in rinks, and on the road traveling to games and tournaments.

Inspired by the energy, dedication, and camaraderie of the sports her family loved, she began designing apparel and products that captured the spirit of the hockey and lacrosse lifestyle her sons so passionately lived.

What started in the family garage—hand-packing orders of sports-themed shirts and gear—quickly grew into something bigger.

Driven by a mission to celebrate the heart of sports and the athletes who play them, ChalkTalk SPORTS became a brand that connects families, teams, and fans through thoughtful, high-quality products.
