Arcopedico

Arcopedico Logo
From the beginning, there was only one goal for Professor Elio Parodi - create a piece of footwear that would be synonymous with the word "comfort." In 1966, Professor Parodi succeeded in attaining his goal and Arcopedico® footwear was born. Our feet have been thanking him ever since.

The Arcopedico brand can be identified by three basic traits: the Techno-Elastic upper, an anatomic footbed, and the twin arch support system. Due to its patented design and cushioning system, an Arcopedico shoe offers benefits that other brands simply cannot. Wearing an Arcopedico shoe will actually exercise your foot, strengthen the muscles, and ensure more comfort in walking. The tops of your feet will breathe easy and your soles will want to keep walking long after you've stopped.

Arcopedico not only offers an exceedingly comfortable shoe, they also offer many different styles and colors. You are sure to find something that will fit your casual lifestyle, whether it is an open toe sandal or a stylish Mary Jane. All Arcopedico styles are manufactured to provide you with industry leading comfort and durability. You owe it to your feet - try out an Arcopedico shoe.

Love these sandals! Wore them for 12-14 hours out of the box with no problems. Crisscross straps are heavy elastic, strap across the toes is a suede-like material. Bottoms are firm and footbed is cushioned. I have bunions on both feet and have a tricky time finding shoes that are comfortable. These fit great and are cute.

The shoe is very cute and very comfortable. It was a tiny bit wide in the heel area but otherwise I thought the shoe would be great for walking/touring.

So cute comfy right out of the box--once I got the right size. I did need to size up a full size to get it right.

I was really hoping these shoes were it for me. I got the largest size they had (42) but it was too small. I have a long second toe and the rounded toe box didn't work for me. My toe jammed to the end. I checked to see if there was a larger size, 42 was it. The shoe was very comfortable, the material was just what I was looking for, but the size wasn't perfect. I'm not discouraged, I will keep searching.

I think I am an 8W, and I ordered 39. It fit, but was a bit big -- was a bit long and my toes still hit the top of the toe box (but I have relatively big toes). The shoe also had a weird platform where the heel is raised and the ball is lower but at an angle I've never experienced before, and it was not comfortable for me. My biggest issues were that that the insole is synthetic (si.e. going to be sweaty mess for a high cost shoe), and it really irritated my slight bunion. Also, the elastic was no consistent, one really loose strand on the left foot.

Felt a full half size smaller. I always wear a size 37 but my toes were very scrunched in these. Otherwise, perhaps the most comfortable pair of shoes I have ever put on. Going to try and exchange for a larger size.

I agree with a previous review that these shoes more closely resembled a swimming shoe than a daytime flat. The shoe also ran large for my admittedly narrow foot. Even for a sporty shoe, I felt there were better options, and I returned them.

Comfortable right out of the box - without wearing socks! No break in time needed. Has good arch support. I have a slightly wide foot, flat arch, bunions and wear a size 8.5, and these size 39 were perfect. Plenty of room in the toe box. Nice soft leather uppers.

Returning these primarily because the heal dug in. And long term, that elastic strap is flimsy, not going to work well. And the foot bed was hard and was on the skimpy side of moderate in arch support.

I got these shoes in the denim color. I thought they were very cute, but the heel slipped with every step. I got the 39 and I normally wear an 8.5. The size was right, I just couldn't tighten the laces enough to make the heel work. The sole of the shoe seems very thin.

They suggested to buy a size larger so I did. They were huge so returned. Didn't like style well enough to buy in smaller size. Guess it's all relative to each individual foot.

I bought this shoe for the color since purple sandals are hard to find. It fits well and looks cute, but it's fairly lightweight and I wouldn't plan to walk long distances in it.

I saw these shoes for the first time when I was performing onstage with a friend - I got the brand & style from her and ordered a pair. I love the arch support, but I added an insole for extra padding and an inserted arch support. Now they are my 'go to' shoes for stage work when I don't have to wear character heels; I will also be using them for conventions when I have to look decently dressed (no sneakers) but need to be able to run around hotel convention rooms all day. Cute enough to pass and comfortable enough to live in!

I was looking for a pair of sneaker-like shoes that I could wear all day without pain. My only quibble with these shoes - and I am going to make the alteration needed - is the stretch laces. My foot is narrow with high arches. The arch support is okay (I may add inserts) but the laces have got to be replaced. I can't tighten these. I admit it's handy to be able to slip them on, but I need firmer laces. The navy color isn't overly blatant, which was a concern (I didn't want all black) and the shoes look great with jeans. The arch support is decent. (If I need more, I can add inserts.) What I really love about these sneakers is the flexibility of the soles - they are light and you hardly know you have them on! This is my second pair of Arcopedico shoes, and although they are pricey, they do work!

I usually need to order wides, but thought I'd try these because of the stretchy material. Very soft and comfy! I also have narrow heels and usually need a strap or laces to hold the shoe onto my foot, but the elastic pull strap around the entire top edge solved that problem. I thought I'd be using these mostly for driving long distance, but who knows? The arch support is very good and I won't need to insert my orthotics for driving.

Like other reviewers, I also own several pairs of Arcopedico shoes and boots. I find these to be the most stylish of the tie shoes that are available. The thick sole and round toe make it more up to date, I think. I wore these literally right out of the box, and I plan to bring them on a trip this summer. I tried a variety of other brands, and although they were nice looking and casual, they were nowhere nearly as comfortable as these are. You cannot go wrong with Arcopedico.

Love these shoes - they are so comfortable. I was so disappointed when after wearing for less than 1 month the padded insole has come loose, making them unwearable.

This is my first time trying Arcopedico shoes (I ordered the LS 10) as well. I have a high arch, very wide feet and a narrow heel and can difficulty finding shoes that fit well. This shoe had a wide, rounded toe box and with the stretchy material, it fit perfectly. The arch support was very comfortable too. I have been looking for a shoe style to fit a wide range of activities during an upcoming trip to Europe, including hiking. I loved these shoes but felt they were a little soft/unstructured for my particular needs so I am returning them. The LS Net style is on backorder and may just fit the bill. Love you, Zappo's!

I love these shoes! I got a pair of black ones a few months ago and loved them so much that I bought two more pairs, one black and one black-gray. The black-gray pair seems to be a tad wider than the solid black ones, but both pairs fit like a glove. I originally bought the first pair because of my bunions. With these shoes I have absolutely no problem with the bunions. They were the only shoes I wore on my month-long European trip where I walked 12-14 miles a day. My feet did not hurt afterwards which has not always been the case with other brands.

I purchased this shoe in black after my foot surgery. I wore them all last summer after the doctor gave me permission to wear a shoe. It has a low heel and good support. The fabric gives and I recommend ordering a half size smaller. This is a granny shoe. When I wear these, I feel like I need to put on a mumu to complete the "look." I wore these during my recovery and a year later, I am donating them to the thrift store because it is a downer wearing them.
