I seriously debated buying this bag because the description of its size and pockets was very vague, but I took the chance because it's an Anuschka, and I've never had a bad one; I am very glad I did. Let me say first--the beauty of the black and white artwork is by no means captured in the photos. You have to see it in person to truly appreciate the subtlety. It's beyond stunning and is the best I've ever bought (and I have a lot of Anuschka!). The leather is a bit stiffer than my other bags, but it's still of the highest quality and will lend this one some needed stability (sorry, I dislike floppy backpacks). Size and missing description: I was limited to 4 photos so I concentrated on the interior dimensions and the outside pockets, of which there are two. The front outside pocket is 10" deep, 11" wide when flat, and has no closure as it fits under the top flap. An iPad Pro 12.9" 3rd generation fits in there comfortably. The back outside pocket is the same dimension, but it has a single metal snap in the middle which makes it perfect for travel documents. Pockets inside are on one side only, leaving the front side flat for another large device. I easily got my husband's older iPad Pro 12.9" inside, nestled against mine in the front pocket. The dual zippers of the main compartment have just enough room on the pulls to thread a small cable lock for added security. Also, this bag is the first convertible I've ever had that actually works--it transforms from shoulder to messenger to backpack just by adjusting the length of the straps. Despite the thinnish straps, I took it fully loaded (about 8 pounds--see below) on a spin around the mall for a couple of hours and found it comfortable. After treating the leather (see below), I started playing with it, and am a bit amazed at just how much this holds. iPad Pro 12.9" 2nd AND 3rd generations (both with keyboard cases), a flat travel case with passports, etc, 4 fully loaded LeSac doo-dad bags (~6x4x1.5), and a 16oz skinny water bottle. If i took out 2 of the doo-dad bags, I can also add an umbrella. BTW, the inside measured 12" tall, 10.5" wide, and 2.5" thick at the bottom (see photos). Finally, as an FYI, don't, don't, just don't use these bags without the leather treatment. These are functional investment art pieces and should be protected. It takes only 30 minutes for 3 treatment layers per piece which significantly extends the life of the bag. If the soft shine starts disappearing (generally, after a year of use--your mileage may vary), gently wipe with damp cloth to remove surface dirt, air dry, and treat again. If you don't do this, two things happen: 1) your clothing or skin WILL wear-rub some of the luster off the bag making it look dull; and 2) you lose all rights to complain in reviews when the paint wears off. I've used Anuschka for years and only my heavily used travel bags have had finish issues requiring touch-ups (almost 500k miles and counting). Purses and such hold up well if you treat them.

I've actually owned two of these and used both as my personal bag in meetings where I couldn't/shouldn't carry a purse. Loved, loved them both. I gave away the first one because my iPhone 6+ wouldn't fit (nor will the 7 or 8). Bought the second one with my iPhone X, which fit beautifully. Gave the second one away when I retired to a friend (who'd long admired my Anuschka collection) and would get far more use out of it than I would. I highly recommend it for those times you just need to run to the store or as a tasteful small bag to hold you personal things in meetings at work. In response to people who complained about the way it opens wide for the main compartment and about losing phones: placing the phone in the main compartment is silly as it leaves it open to damage; the phone is better protected in the back compartment, and if it vibrates in a meeting, no one will hear it. Very important to me at least. Main compartment is large enough for money, small card cases for business cards and credit card for lunch, small packet of tissues, lipstick, pens, keys, etc and the strap is thin enough to attached your work ID. One last thing, like all Anuschka goods, it's a conversation starter, which is never a bad thing.

This was the first Anuschka I ever bought, and I still use it. It holds a 12.9" iPad Pro (third generation only), and it takes care to fit it through the zipper, but once through, it settles in nicely at the bottom. Things I appreciate and why I keep coming back to it: well constructed buttery leather, strong compartments and pockets; hold all my tech and my purse items; and it's just stunning. I keep it looking new with metallic and regular sharpies (yeah, sharpies!) with a judicious yearly spray of Anuschka's leather protector. It's not my day bag--I need something smaller for everyday, but it and another Anuschka satchel (since discontinued) are my companions when I travel. In the 12 years I've used them, we've logged almost half-a-million miles. Highly recommend it.

I have so many Anuschka products, I think I need a separate closet. This item I've used for 4 years non-stop. While it's too small to hold cash in the zip compartment without folding it, I really don't care because I don't usually carry much cash. The card slots have not stretched, and the finish is slightly worn, but still looks fresh. The zipper compartment is perfect for your health and car insurance cards, paper professional licences, discount and gift cards, and the odd receipt. I really stuff it, yet it still stays flat. Would highly recommend.

This boot was so beautiful, I was so hopeful! When I tried it on the foot was a little wide, my toes fit just right. But the calves were so wide. Every time I walked the extra space the calf had made my foot slip out. Even with the strap the tightest it would go, it was too big. You might want to have a little larger calf then normal if you want these to fight right, or wear a lot of clothes.I sent them back, very sad about it.

Beautiful soft leather with lots of pockets. Overall a little small - or maybe I carry too much ? Fits nicely from the shoulder. Have gotten many compliments.

It's a beautiful bag, but it's misdescribed as being 12" wide at the base, and it is only about 10," maybe half an inch larger. That inch and a half makes a huge difference. I love Anuschka bags and Zappos is always wonderful, but I wouldn't use this one very much because of its size.

Perfect size for change and cards.

Love the colors and artistry of this wallet, however it has a strong "skunk" smell. Will be returning.

Absolutely love this coin purse! I got the one with the bike on it. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 was due to the size. I wish it were just a little bigger. Sometimes I have to go through the motions to pull my cards out, but nothing too much. Overall it’s adorable.

I take a Women’s 6 in Boggs and Merrell, a 6.5 in Keen sportsandals, and generally a European size 36. These size 6 boots fit a bit big, maybe a 1/2 size all around, but replacing the insole with a thicker “sport” gel/contoured one did most of the trick. I might need to add one of those stick-on things in the heel to keep it from slipping so much, but happily, the slipping isn’t rubbing like it will cause a blister. The opening of the boot is quite wide, considerably bigger than the opening to my old Boggs ankle boots. The rubber is surprisingly soft, supple, and flexible. The boots certainly stand up on their own, but the materials are thinner (and more flexible) than my old Boggs. Only time will tell how durable the rubber is, but it was quite comfortable out of the box, not stiff at all. The fabric inside is also rather thin, but with felt-like softness. It seems a good materials-pairing with the rubber. The footbed and insole are completely flat, but the insole is removable so you can add your own. The construction is a little surprising. The printed rubber continues under the elastic gore at the ankle with a simple slit (in the rubber and attached lining) to allow for flexing. Again, time will tell for durability. The tread provides good traction yet hasn’t been a “mud magnet” yet. And we do have lots of mud and puddles during the spring thaw in New England! The overall effect of the construction is a pleasantly surprising flexible boot that has thus far proven comfortable to walk in. I wear my ankle boots nearly daily in the Spring and Fall. The butterflies are vibrant but not over-glossy, even prettier than the pictures! I absolutely LOVE how beautiful these very practical and comfortable ankle boots are!

This would be perfect but the strap is at least 5 inches too short. I had to find extenders so it hung to my lower back. It is not even comfortable as a sling. I have other bags by them and never had this problem. To be fair the photo shown shows the bag up near her shoulders.

Adorable bag! I bought the "Wings of Hope" which has a pale grey background with birds of blue, purple and turquoise; zipper is a dark grey. It's the perfect size for an outing when I don't need a large bag. The magnetic closure seems secure and the zippered flap is perfect to hold small make up items. There are six card slots on the bag under the flap - this is probably the feature I like the least. I would rather have card slots inside the bag instead of exposed every time I open the flap. It's not a game changer, just a personal perference. The strap is long and adjustable but I prefer to use the wristlet strap attached to the bag. Overall I'm happy with the style and appearance - leather is soft and the artwork is whimsical...I received several compliments the first time I used it. The fact I got it on sale is an added bonus! Thank you Zappos!

I’m a huge fan of Anuschka and own several bags, wallets, and coin purses. When I saw this sugar skull umbrella, I immediately ordered it. I wish they would make a bag and wallet in this same design! Fabulous! It’s a great compact size and fits well in my purse. My only negative is that the wooden veneer handle has started to chip and I’ve barely used this umbrella and not in any sort of rough way.

This is a beautiful purse! The colors are so vidid. I bought the red and it is lovely. it is quality throughout and just the right size for me. The strap is comfortable and it hits just right under the shoulder. The first purse I received had obviously been used for sometime and was in very worn shape when I received it. The second purse was in a plastic bag and the purse itself was in another bag. Zappos was wonderful about the return of the worn bag.

Based on the photo I thought it was white with multi-color design. It is actually a light sage green. More specific color info detailed would be appreciated. Thank you

This handbag is gorgeous. However, I had to return it because of the strap. It is anchored awkwardly on the sides of the bag so that it does not lie comfortably. Also when you shorten the strap, the end sticks out and does not look good.

This is already 3 bag, which I order from your site from the brand Anuschka Handbags... Gorgeous design. Beautiful soft skin. Bought on discounts. Waiting for the next discount for re-purchase.

I just received my Anuschka Handbag. I got the very last one of this size in "jeweled plume" (the one with the peacock on it). I have a love of peacocks and needed a new tote. I achieved a goal last week, so my husband bought me this bag as a present. And what a present! It is worth every penny. It's beautiful and obviously well made. In addition to all the room inside and all the pockets, there's an RFDI shielded pocket as well as a separate glasses case and change purse included. The bag was packed excellently inside it's own bag and then cushioned inside the Zappos box. It could have been in a tsunami and survived. And I got it in one business day! Bravo to Anuschka Bag and Zappos for such a wonderful product and customer service!

I have always wanted an Anuschka purse. I got the style with the two birds on the front. This was a splurge, but I know I'll enjoy wearing it. And when I find myself out and my cellphone battery's dead, I can lose myself in the paintings.
