Purchased these sneakers from Zappos during a recent flash sale at 40% off. Since designer sneakers seem to be the rage these days, I understand that no matter what high end brand I buy will offer little support as they are purely intended for style, not cardio. With that being said, the running shoes made by athletic brands like Nike, Saucony, & ASICS carry many colorful & cool looking sneakers for cardio/running. Unfortunately the majority of them are for neutral feet. Since I pronate, I have to wear a running shoe that offers extra stability & support, leaving little options in terms of style. For reference it is worth noting that I wear a full size larger in my running shoes (Saucony Hurricanes- Size 11 regular width). I have normal width feet, if anything towards the narrow side. I’ve had some experience with Alice + Olivia footwear, so I was unsure if the size 10 would fit me, based on my experience of purchasing a pair of rainbow crystal espadrilles last summer. The size 10 in the espadrille platform I purchased were way too big for me, my foot was sliding out & seemed fairly wide. Since the 9.5 were sold out, I bought the size 9 and was pleasantly surprised that they fit me & still felt roomy. Back to the sneakers! They look prettier in person & think they are a great pick for a designer sneaker that can be worn anytime of the year. The size 10 fit me, although I wonder if a larger size would be better off- The cons of the shoe is that the leather or material of the shoe is extremely stiff. As mentioned I wear normal width & foot is on the narrow side. The width on these particularly where the tongue is feels very snug. These are not sneakers you can just slip into, they are extremely stiff & bit of a struggle to get into, but perhaps with wear the material will give (I am dubious). They do have cushioning but again these aren’t meant for the gym! I think at the sale price they are worth keeping as the possibilities of designer kicks are endless but spending a lot of money on designer sneakers seems silly as they are strictly intended for causal wear, not something you can really dress up in! Despite the material, I do love the look & think they are a great option for a designer fashion statement sneaker!

These shoes are gorgeous!!! I love the look and style! Unfortunately they are not comfortable. The strap material has no give and my toes kept popping out between the gaps the straps have. The foot bed has no cushion either. Sad they weren’t comfortable because I love the heel and style of these shoes!!!

This shoe is incredibly well made and stable enough to wear on the go. Leather lining inside a very fine grain of suede was unexpected for the price.
