Great shoe, but order at least one full size down. Read other reviews saying that these run big and it’s true. I normally wear an 11 for Adidas, ordered a 10.5, and they fit closer to a 12. Luckily for me these will work for wearing thicker socks. I have wide feet with high arches, and they are very comfortable. Have taken them on multiple hikes and my feet are comfortable the entire time. Good arch support and they keep my feet dry. Have gotten compliments on the style which is a nice plus.

These have great breathability for hiking, and the bottom tread has some flexibility. They look a bit clunky with the multitone styling. I have thinner heals, and the plush backer does not rub. Happy with this purchase!

They fit really well and if you have a narrow heel the laces make it really easy to pull tight enough so your heel doesn’t slip. Only problem is they’re just not cushioned enough. The top and the sides of the shoe are kind of hard. I’ve had shoes like this before and it just makes my feet more tired than a more cushiony brand. Otherwise they are great shoes.

Riddle me this, Adidas: I wear my size 9.5 Terrex CC Boat for whole days at a time, I run three or four times a week in my size 9.5 Adidas Duramo 7's, but the size 9.5 in Terrex Outdoor Skychaser LT GTX? I can't stand to have them on my feet for over ten minutes? What's up with that? And, it's not like the length or width is wrong, it's just pinching across the top? Would bigger help? I don't know. So, obviously the fit is not like my other Adidas, and therefore I cannot speak to the impressive Goretex liner, or the grippy seeming soles.

I ordered my usual size in Adidas, but these shoes felt a half size too small. They were very nice looking, super cute shoes, but so, so stiff and eventually uncomfortable. They just never really broke in. I had to wear them a few times to see if the GTX would soften up, but it did not. I would return the shoes if I could. I usually love Adidas, so this was disappointing.

Hate these things. The tight elastic collar make them almost impossible to get into & out of. Finally forced them on & found they are totally flexible , giving no support to foot or ankles. Worthless...

I really enjoy these shoes. These are my first sneakers in about 10 years that are NOT Nike. I wear these 6x/week for cardio - 4 miles of aggressive walking on asphalt/loose gravel and 1 mile on dirt trails (hiking). Provides excellent traction and comfort. The shoes (laces) keep to fit. No need to re-lace. Shoes might run 1/2 size large (YMMV), but that's OK for as the day progresses, feet will swell a little. If these were available in blue, I'd get a second pair.

This is the second pair of these shoes that I've tried - one direct from the manufacturer (Adidas), and one from Zappos. Both had the same flaw in the lining of the footbed that creates a fold and cannot be worn.

I ordered three waterproof shoes to try. The other two were Merrell which were too narrow for me (Merrell Bravada WP and Siren 3 WP). I ended up with these because they have a wider sole and are more solid to walk on uneven terrain. Maybe you can see in the photo the difference in the width of the sole for the same size shoe. I've worn them on my morning walks back on the farm for three days straight and they are very comfortable and waterproof (so far so good in wet grass).

I love the look of this shoe an it is so comfortable for street and trail walking/hiking. Unfortunately, the lacing system is totally flawed. The lacing system never stays tight - always comes loose. I usually have to retighten them during any walk or hike several times. Wish they would just put normal laces on these and i would really love them.

I live on an Island. I paddleboard a few times weekly. I go kayaking, and I am on and off boats, and in and out of the water all summer. I LOVE THESE SHOES. There's a lot of complaints in the comments; I'm telling you: these are a paragon of improvement over wearing "boat shoes" aka shoes that are just expensive and wet, and way more comfortable than wearing reef walkers, or dive / toe boots by virtue of not being neoprene. TRUE: They have a texture to the insole for draining, but so do all properly draining shoes which are actually pretty few and far between. They are super grippy on wet surfaces, and dry pretty quickly. More importantly, they clean easy! I rubbed the white ones all over the inside of a somewhat untidy kayak on a six hour paddle, and thought I'd just have green toes on my shoes, and serves me right . NOOOOOPE! Literally came right off. The kayak was stained for good, but the shoes are as shiny as the day I got them out of the box. I've tread through low tide mud, and sand, and grass, the shoes came clean. I rinse them off, maybe use some soap, and they are ready to go in the morning. They do not insulate, but that's the point. And, I can wear them into town, and they just look like a pair of adidas. WIN - WIN.

These are great lightweight hikers, a bit light on arch support (not an issue for me, just be aware). I hike daily on easy to to moderate terrain and these are great. Also cute enough to wear off the trail.

These are great hiking shoes. They look great and are so comfortable. Like others say, they do run a little large but that's what I wanted. I don't like to get blisters and I like to put in an innersole. These give me plenty of room. They're lightweight, provide stable footing with a wide base and I love the way they snuggly hold my ankles. Some reviewers said they were too tight and cut off their circulation but I have small ankles and they fit great. I've never had walking/hiking shoes so comfortable. I also ordered the Adidas Outdoor Terrex Free Hiker GTX - they're the same plus waterproof !

I just purchased a second pair for my 14yr old son who had outgrown his previous pair. These are a great buy, fit and style for light trail walking; hill climbing and general running around outdoors. They are light weight; great support and stylish. My husband even wants a pair now. ;)

Normally if I'm ordering a shoe like this I'm going to wear barefoot, I'd order a half size down. That wasn't an option so I went with normal shoe size. It does feel around a half size too big. In colder water I'll wear a thin neoprene sock with them, and in that case I don't think I'd want to drop a full size. Shoe seems well made but isn't tight fitting around the ankle, if that matters to you.

The fit was a little big, but I struggle to find perfect fitting shoes - 8 are a little too big, 7.5 are too small. These are very sturdy shoes, but the comfort is waaay off compared to something like Salomon Speedcross, which is infinitely more comfortable and has even better grip. These shoes hurt my feet after about 3 miles, despite wearing socks with padding. Such a shame. I love the way they look and how durable they are. I'll also add that the wider heel base would make it seem like stability would be good, but it's just ok. Strange...
