If I designed hiking shoes, I would design ones like these. They are lightweight, cool mesh, have rubber bumpers on toes (my toenails tend to pop through mesh uppers) and the traction is awesome. My feet are narrow, so mediums are really too big. Much too big in these shoes. But since the insole is flat anyway, I put my regular (expensive) insoles inside and voile--they are perfect! Not too tight, but still roomy (especially in the toe box)--just right. I imagine a true medium would find these just right even with an insole if more support is needed. I take a 9 1/2 in a dress shoe or flat and 10 in athletic shoes or boots. I ordered 10 in these and they are wonderful--my toe is NOT up against the toe of the shoe, but still not too long. I have only worn them inside my house, but forgot I had them on--the true test of a well-fitting shoe. They look nice on, too. I thought they might look very long in size 10, but they are, as the box says, "sleek." I am thrilled with this shoe and also the service from Zappos. Great price, very fast shipping. I will be back.

Eh, this is an ok shoe. It’s a little heavy for hiking, but it’s the stiffness of the shoe that really hurts the overall appeal. I didn’t have blister issue - I’ve put some miles on these puppies - but they feel as stiff and the day I took them outta the box. They look great though. (Also, I sized up a half size just to be cautious as I’m using these solely for hiking, but I think I could’ve gotten away w my normal size.)

web description falsely states that these are waterproof.

Wore these bad boys while hiking Tongariro National Park in New Zealand and the Great Dividing Range in Australia. Waterproof as long as you don't submerge your feet entirely in water. Very easy to clean. Only gripe I have is that because of the Gore Tex, it is signficantly heavier than the mesh Kanadia 7. Other than that, I will still buy a pair once I wear this one out.

Perfect for the beaches; I've gone hiking with it as well and they are super comfortable! Awesome grip as well.

I take an 8 1/2 in most boots shoes sneakers... Not these. toe hit the top, shoe felt all around snug, and more of a beefed up sneaker than a "hiking" boot. I did like the look though.

Having tried several gtx pairs, I settled for this pair for the following reasons: It has a low profile. It's thin and styled quietly. The most commendable feature is the outer sole which is every gripping on every type of surface I've tried so far. In fact, it's the best outer sole I've ever had out of all of my outdoor shoes and boots. The things I wish: The sole could be more flexible to match its low profile. Also the toe box could be a bit roomier.

I was looking for a shoe that is good for walking on uneven, rocky surfaces. These shoes have excellent ankle support and the sole is thick and rigid enough on stand up to rocky conditions. The only draw back is that they do not have much padding in the heel. They are great for my 2-mile walk everyday, but wouldn't want to wear them all day long.

I wear a size 9.5 which usually converts to a 41 in German shoe sizing. In this shoe it is a 42. Will have to return.

Love em. I’ve had adidas before that ran small so I ordered half a size up, which was a mistake. Zappos exchanged for my normal size easy peasy. They are extremely well constructed. Went for a hike in tall wet grass and my feet stayed bone dry thanks to the goretex. Happy camper

Amazing shoe/design. I love these shoes. I usually wear a 9/9.5. I ordered a 9 which was a good 1/2 size too big. Ordered the 8.5 and they fit perfect.

After 3 months wearing these every day in the wet New Zealand winter I can truly say these are the best hiker/walker I've ever had! Comfortable, great arch support for my usually achy feet, totally waterproof and good looking enough (in black) to hose the mud off and wear to dinner in the city. And the bungee makes them so easy to get on and off. I went a half a size up and my toes were glad for the space.

Excellent shoes. Very light and flexible with good grip on wet rocks. The best hiking boots I ever have.

The shoes are slightly narrower than my usual B width shoes but it has a quite style I like. While most gtx shoes tend to have thick and stiff soles and uppers, this pair is more streamlined and flexible.

Visually, they are stunning. But, they are quite possibly the most uncomfortable athletic shoe I've ever worn. I have hiking boots that are more comfortable. I do still use them, but I make sure I won't be out for much more than an hour in them. This was my first Adidas outdoor shoe purchase, and probably the last.

Great, subtle style. I ordered size 10, and it feels just a smidge larger than my size 10 Adidas from a handful of years ago. But not large enough for me to go to a 9.5. They also make me stand a smidge taller, and I sure can't complain about that!

Ordered a size 9, they were too big. I thought I ordered a Mens shoe. Shoe was lightweight, cool style and vibrant colors but had to return.

The style caught my eye, but had to return. I normally where an 8.5 to 9, ordered a 9 but they were way too big. I wanted to exchange for an 8 but they were out of stock.

These are very attractive shoes. There is no arch support and because they're also very light and the soles are thin, they almost feel like I'm walking around in socks. It took some getting used to. I ordered my regular size 7 1/2 and also size 7 and although the half size down felt somewhat tight at first, it eventually stretched out and now it even feels a bit large. So glad I kept the smaller size!

These are really good looking shoes, and I really like the lacing to the toe (very adjustable fit) and the super sticky sole. Very breathable mesh up. Nice, low profile look. However, although I am usually a 7 or 7.5 in street shoes and always a 7.5 in athletic shoes, the 7.5 was way too big in this shoe. And, sadly, when I tried to order a size down, they were sold out!
