I so want to keep these... but they are so narrow in the front (even for a person with narrow feet) I think I have to return. What was Steve Madden thinking when they cut the front so narrow. It is such a great show otherwise! :-(

Basic wedges, comfortable and pretty. I sent them back because I have a pair that's similar and didn't need two. Also, I don't love synthetic (aka plastic) parts on shoes.

These shoes are very stylish looking. I purchased them in bone and the chestnut suede. Regarding the colors, the bone is a true bone, but the "chestnut suede" does not look like the picture in real person. The website shows this color almost like a whiskey, but the actual color is a light/mousey brown. Don't get me wrong, it's a pretty brown, it's just not what I wanted, which was the darker whiskey color shown in the picture. As for the fit, the sole is pretty hard with no arch support, but because of the stretch in the strap across the ankle top, the hard sole didn't bother me. The worst part for me, however, was the width of the front strap. Such a cute shoe, but it's just way too narrow. I have medium to wide feet. This cut pretty tight. Skinny/narrow feet women - you'll love it! Wider feet women, I'd look elsewhere. They hurt before walking and/or even swelling from the heat of the sun. Strangely, the strap across the ankle is much looser then you'd expect considering the front strap's width. It also gave me very little ankle support Totally bummed, but this is a definite no for me & things for shoppers to consider. Thank you Zappos for your awesome return policy.
