These shoes are the worse purchase I’ve ever made. The straps are way too long, but I thought the foot bed was comfortable so I could figure out something with the straps (loop them to make them shorter). It turns out you also can’t get them wet because the straps stretch out too! I made the terrible mistake of going hiking in these. The hike ended up being steeper than we thought and we got rained on. The wetter it got the more the straps stretched out. We stopped multiple times for me to try figure out new ways of tightening these but they just kept stretching out more, all while we scrambled down muddy rocks to get down the mountain. These shoes made this experience MISERABLE. It some point I switched just socks because the shoes wouldn’t even stay on my feet. It made what would have fun and adventurous, frustrating and painful. I bought these for traveling in Nicaragua as my ‘active wear’ shoe because the foot bed was comfy and the sole had good traction luggs. This is not an active wear shoe, you CANNOT get these wet or they will be unusable.

I ordered the same size as my Hola running shoes, or 8 1/2 D plus 1/2 size smaller. The smaller size was way too big. I didn't even open the other package. Seems like they are sized more for men....

Extremely comfortable and a perfect fit. Great for walking around in Disney parks for hours. I usually go with Sketchers but these are much more comfortable.

The initially I ordered my normal Hoka Bondi 8 size as well as 1/2 size smaller. Both were too big and returned. I ordered one whole size smaller than my normal size and they fit. They seem very comfortable, but since it's still too early to wear them I've only worn them around the house.

These are the best sandals for extended walking that I have had, I walk to work on sidewalk and asphalt every day, and I have had a great many sport sandals. They are light weight, very cushioned (like a Clifton 9) , the material that is against the skin is soft and does not leave blisters. I wear size women 9 in all Hokas , the Clifton 9's run snug for me but Bondi 9 in a size 9 is a perfect fit, I have very high arches, very thick ankles and slightly wide feet. The size 9 is spot on for me, I did not size down. But, if you have standard with feet with normal ankles and arches you may want a size smaller than normal, if you have narrow feet then these are not for you.
