These will be perfect for winter! I did have to go up a half size. Normally a true US mens 9. This is what I take in the Madson Moc Toe lineup. The Slabtown (at least this model) last was a bit snug with my darn tough socks. The comfort is great! I love that they are like a dressier version of a sneaker. I tried to get some other Italian “hiker” type boots and they were way too heavy and narrow. Sorel tends to offer at least a “normal” toe box in most of their shoes (definitely not “foot shaped”) but comfortable for hours on end at least. Highly recommend especially if you are looking for something a bit taller than the Madson line.

Usually wear a 12.5/13, but went with a 12 for this boot. The boot is waterproof so the exterior has slight shine with a smooth feel. I think they look great and very comfortable.

I wasn’t sure that I liked the shiny leather. Just my preference. It’s a great boot.

I like these a lot. They are comfortable, and are good for white collar work. They feel light for a boot. I took a 40 minute walk in a downpour and my feet stayed dry. The only complaint is that they appear too shiny, like vinyl. I'm hoping they develop character like a work boot. The fit is a little big so I size down, the toe box is roomy.

Great pair of boots. I needed a lite pair of boots to travel abroad. They needed to be waterproof and suitable for walking. These boots are great for those purposes!!!
