Gorgeous boot, love the pointed toe. I normally wear 8.5 in a boot, however the calf width was quite snug. This boot didn't come in wide width so I ordered size 9. The larger size fit much better as I was able to pull it up over my calf. The shoe part a bit bigger so I'll wear a thicker sock which should work well. Nice black suede .... love suede always spray silicone to repell wet/snowy days.

Review for Zappos VIP Points (What's this?)

These are stylish, yet comfortable boots! They look great and despite the pointed toe do not pinch my toes and there is enough room in the toe box. I ordered a 7 which is my regular size in boots (although I often wear 6.5 in street shoes) and they fit just right. For long walks I would probably add a footpad inside the boot.

The foot bed sizing was perfect, but as other have said, do not purchase if you are petite. I am 5'2" and the shaft covered half my knee, it was just way too high. They are beautiful boots for women of average to tall height.
