I bought this boot last month and absolutely love the comfort of the boot and style. However, the quality isn't as great as I thought it was for a boot that costs a lot of money (Canadian). One of the plastic lace holders broke and popped off as I was at work tightening my boots. I was not impressed by that as I've had cheaper boots from other brands without any of the materials breaking. 3/5 stars because I feel like my boots will break in under a year if it's already breaking in less than a month.

I've owned two pairs of the Moab Tactical boots that are advertised as water proof. Although I absolutely LOVE the comfort the boot, its is definitely not waterproof. I had to return my first pair due to leakage (simply working through wet grass and brush). The company replaced the boots as they were less than a year old. Unfortunately, the second pair is also leaking. If you're looking for a waterproof booth, this is NOT it! Look elsewhere. I was highly disappointed because, otherwise, I love the boot but I need something waterproof.

The only boots I get for many years. There is not a doubt the quality is going down. The waterproofing barely last, The stitching around the toes will give within 6 months. Put it in perspective. They will not make it a few hundred miles worth of steps. Merrell that's kinda Opposite of what you become. The only reason three stars are given is because they are comfortable, some of most comfort found in a boot style. And yeah, pair like 15 knowing they're not lasting 6 months has gotten old, I now feel like I'm wasting money and searching for a new workbook. This might be the last pair purchased.

Merrells fit, exactly as you expect, with just the right amount of room, have worn them one day kicking around and no break in period was needed, testing out the waterproof-ness this weekend outside in the rain.
