It is the most common cause of pain on the bottom of the heel. Approximately 2 million patients are treated for this condition every year. I purchased the black pair first. After I broke them in they help relieve the pain so much!!! So I got a blue pair to switch up. Love them both!!! Could not work without theses shoes!!!
Plantar fasciitis occurs when the strong band of tissue that supports the arch of your foot becomes irritated and inflamed.

Review for Zappos VIP Points (What's this?)I wear a wide shoe. After reading the reviews, I ordered a half size up and this wide was tight in the toe box. The design of the shoe pushes my toes toward the center, making it very uncomfortable. When are shoe manufacturers going to realize that human feet do not come to a point?! Also, length was fine in the bigger shoe, but my heel was coming out so had to relace the shoes to hold it on my foot better which caused the "plastic" (not soft material) tongue to cut into the front of my ankle. Gravity Defyer's info that comes with the shoe recommends you try it on for an hour or so a day to "break it in." As my foot doctor tells me, you should never have to break in a shoe. If it doesn't feel comfortable when you put it on, don't buy it. These were not comfortable, so returned.

These shoes are working really well for my Morton's neuroma. I believe that they are zero drop (if not, they're close) and also have a stiff platform sole, which is keeping the bulk of my weight off of the ball of my foot. I like that there are 3 insole options. Really pleased with this shoe.
