My hubby wears a shoe size 9-91/2. Most socks elastic tops are too tight on him. Birkenstock Cotton Twist Socks have some elastic, but it is not too tight. The Twist Socks are a bit shorter than other Birkenstock socks in height and thicker. He likes them!

These do not hold up! Every pair I ordered started unraveling on the top of the band on Day 1. Where the knitting stopped, there was no knotting and the yarn was just left untied.
