Review for Zappos VIP Points (What's this?)
I purchased these for my great grandson and he loved them because they were his first pair of black shoes. Problem with them is when you pull the strap over to close them up they do not stay in place. The stuff on the piece on the shoe where you attach the strap is very shiny. I as an adult am always pulling the strap over and have to force it to attach, then later it detaches. I should have returned them right away, but I though they were new and would attach eventually the way it should. He has very wide feet for his age and its hard to find a good shoe to fit him. I even had a hard time finding him soccer shoes and the manufacturers need to take in account they need to make a extra wide soccer shoe.
Also recommend
No suggestioin as I just want to find him a shoe that fits.

I ordered the sneakers for my 8-year-old grandson and he loves them. He loves to be outdoors climbing and jumping so we'll see how they hold up.

My grandson was so excited to get these for shoes. He wears them for gym and it was the first time for black gym shoes the problem is when he pulls over the strap they do not stay closed. Even when we adults pull the strap over they do not stay in place as they seem to have some kind of a coaching on them which I think stops them from attaching to the Velcro on them. This is the first time this has ever happened to any of his shoes I have I have bought him. I know they cannot be returned since he has worn them. I just want other parents to be aware of the problem.
