Great shoe for kids with a wider toe box (in the wide size) and overall feel around ankle opening. My child has sensory difficulty with shoes and we've had the best experience with these, the velcro version of these and the tie cohesion trail. We've tried all the other major brands but these have been only ones not to cause sensory issues. Also, if your kid likes their shoes cinched tight - or just has low foot volume - you can get these very tight and the laces last.

Son measures a 3 in almost shoes we tried on but these were too small at a 3. Ordered 1/2 size up and perfect! We’ve always been pleased with this brand.
