This is hubby’s second pair of this style Teva that should tell you something. Great sandal even dressy enough with a dark sock for dinner. Great comfort with LONG lasting materials. Very durable, handsome and super comfy. Hubby loves these Teva’s and so will you. Worth every penny since his last pair lasted 3 years until our new puppy chewed one up ?? You won’t be disappointed with these great Teva’s!

I have to admit I'm sadly a bit disappointed with this one. The original Katavis were made to perfection. I could wear them anywhere, any time, and they would work well, stay comfortable, and were durable enough to last over a year. I went through two separate pairs while they were available -- my favorite shoe, by far. Unfortunately, my initial impression of the Katavi 2 is that it is generally uncomfortable in that they changed the design to include a new stretchy material to underpin the arch that goes over your foot. This stretchy material rubs and has on several occasions given me blisters on the top of my foot [until this, I had never had blisters from my Tevas, even after walking many miles in one day with them]. I think the additional problem is there is added material in the design, so it rides higher up the foot -- higher than it should. I'm hoping they wear in a little, but honestly, I just want to be able to buy another pair of the original Katavi (why ruin a good thing?).

Due to a foot injury I cannot wear flip flops. These are the best fitting slides I have found. I wear them fishing offshore. These are my second pair of Teva slides. I wore out the first pair in about 7 years.

The Tea Katavi 2 Slide fits well but that said, I'm normally a 9.5 and theses only come in full sizes, so when I first put them on I felt like they looked like they were a bit small. However, now that I've worn them for a week solid (all day) then have opened up and I think if they were bigger they won't stay on my feet very well. I'd say they fit perfectly. I love them. They look great, feel great and work in my retirement life style. When I'm not riding my bike or playing pickle ball or golfing, I'm hanging in my backyard. We live in the desert with a rock, xeriscape yard. I can walk all over the rock easily with plenty of support. I put them on in the morning and forget that I have shoes on. Normally, if I go shopping , dinner or visiting friends I'd put on better shoes (l have other Teva's and Keen's). But several times this week I got out of the car and realized I still had my sandals on. It doesn't matter, they look great and are super comfortable, you can ware them anywhere. Love them!!!
