721 High Rise Skinny

I usually do not even bother with reviews, but this product calls for one. The High Rise on these are perfection! The fit is perfection! I am 5'4", 140 pounds, size 28 with a longer torso. I ordered these in Windblown and the verdict: I am blown away! For lighter color jeans - they make me look super thin/lean. I must admit the size 28 might be just a little too sexy (still amazing comfort and hold, but sexy). I am keeping them fore sure! And will order another pair in a 29 and darker color when I want to be more conservative. I have thrown so much money away over the years on 7 for all mankind, Paige, Hudsons, etc - all of which were not for my body type. I just packed all my over priced jeans away (possibly giving them away, to my 20 year old niece) and will just stick to Levi's! Only Levi's for my jean collection from now on! Comfortable and sexy - you cannot beat that! And for this price, I will be ordering pairs in other colors. I am 40! And a busy mom! I also bought the Levi's 712 slims in Cast Shadows and let me say they are equally stunning! One last comment: Zappos Rocks! As usual = )

I'm 5'3", short-waisted, 125 lbs., and typically wear a 2 (26) or 4 (27) in jeans. In Levis, 27 is usually the better fit. The sizing of these jeans is all over the place depending on the fabric content, and all of the colors have a different content. This makes it VERY difficult to order online. The colors with the highest amount of cotton (75% or higher) run small, and you need to go up a size - I needed a 28 (size 6) in the Cast Shadows and the Vintage Blues, and I NEVER wear a 6 in anything. 70% or lower in the cotton content, and your regular size should work. The 27 in Blue Story was a good fit. I liked the fit and feel of the Soft Black in a 27 the best. Ironically, I didn't order Soft Black, but it was shipped to me by accident instead of the Cast Shadows. I didn't need black, so I sent them back. Now for the feel: Cast Shadows and Vintage Blues, the colors with the highest amount of cotton, were both very stiff and scratchy. So much so, that they were uncomfortable. The Blue Story and the Soft Black felt soft and were both like a smooth second skin. These are also the colors which were true to size. While the Blue Story fit well, the ankle opening was smaller than that of the others and the rise was slightly higher. Alas, every pair was returned. Due to the inconsistent sizing, these might be a tough online purchase. The best advice I can give is to go up a size and expect a stiffer material in the colors having more cotton. For those with less cotton, expect the jeans to be softer and true to size. If the colors I wanted fit and felt like the black ones, I'd have kept every one. If you can find a pair that works, this is a great jean. Nice fit, tight but not constricting, and no muffin top!

these are by far one of my favorite pants, i'm a size 16. and wear a size 33. finally a pair of high wastes pants that fit and hold in your love handles.

Levi's 721 in Soft Black: terrible, low-quality fabric. Do not waste your money. At first these jeans fit so well, that I ordered a second pair. However, I could only wear them 2 or 3 times until they stretched out completely - going from super skinny to baggy "mom jeans". They did not even stretch out evenly. The fabric is so puckered around the crotch area, that they are now unwearable. Worst pair of jeans I have ever bought. I wish I could return them. (The second pair I bought, in Cast Shadows, is actually a good pair of jeans and did not stretch out more than they should.)

Very pleased with these high rise jeans. The 'Cast Shadows' has a vintage 70's style wash/look. I am 5'5" and 125lbs and they fit like a glove (size 27, 30" inseam). Go really well with boots. Great price for the look.
