Review for Zappos VIP Points (What's this?)

These are light, airy shoes perfect for summer. I'd have kept them had the color been true. The top pair in the photo I attached is what I ordered and is shown on my order. The bottom pair is what I received today. There's an obvious difference: I like the subtle olive/brown on those I ordered. The stark contrast between the upper dark brown and lower tan on the pair I received is unappealing and cheap looking. I'm bummed as I was looking forward to these. Off to UPS. Let me just add, that I love the Zappos Team and truly appreciate your incredible customer service & support. I'll be back.

I saw these a few nights ago on a new Skechers television commercial featuring Ringo Starr. Since these are still somewhat new to Zappos, there were no reviews yet to use as a guideline as to determine the proper size I should order...since shoe size usually seems to differ from maker to maker and style to style. I usually wear a size 10-D (Medium) Ugg 'Beacon' boot which fit perfectly and I do wear these the majority of the time...since I do reside at high altitude/colder climate. I also have several pairs of other brand size 10-D loafers which fit fine as well. Unfortunately, the nearest non-discount department stores and high-end shoe stores are located about two hours away from where I reside, so trying a pair on beforehand was not an option. Although the ones displayed on TV appeared to be a bit more rust in color than these (possibly a different model), the (light brown) color of these is just as pictured here. These shoes are lightweight, stylish, and comfortable right out of the box. The exterior foam-type soles appear to have good traction which is a shoe/boot requirement for me for where I reside. Since these are part of Skechers' new 'Relaxed Fit' series, for me, they feel 'true to size' when worn with light/medium duty woven socks; however, for those of you planning to wear these without socks, then you might want to go down about a half size...just to be safe. BTW, the Zappos Customer Service Rep I had communicated with via 'chat' was extremely helpful, courteous, and professional. I ordered these shoes late Sunday night and they arrived at my home (via UPS Ground) this (Tuesday) morning. I received excellent Zappos customer service as usual; thus, why all of my online shoe/boot purchases are done via Zappos.com. Heck, these were also less expensive than purchasing them directly from Skechers themselves...heh...heh. Thanks guys and please keep up the great work...cheers.

I am not happy with the quality of these shoes. After only wearing them for 4 or 5 occasions, for a total of about 8 hours, two of the sole inserts have come loose and 1 has fallen off completely.
