I'll share a comment I added to the Havaianas Slim flips for the benefit of the last reviewer, who found the toe strap pop the first day...it's a common problem with Havianas, especially those with very thin soles. I've always thought it was part of the thrill of wearing them, that you might end up having to go barefoot if they break. After having one pop constantly on a super hot day, when the pavement was dangerously hot (as my feet quickly found out) I picked up a pack of split plastic washers from the hardware store, just wider than the plug on the strap. Snap one on the strap, just above the plug then pull the strap back in. The washer doesn't show and the strap will never pop out again unless the sole rips really badly. At that point there's little choice but to go barefoot.

I love the flip flop look and feel with the back strap...great concept. My only complaint is the sizing. I hate the 9/10 concept. I ordered the 39/40 and the 41/42. The 39/40 ran about a half size smaller and the 41/42 was huge. I kept the smaller.

These fit differently if you are used to the Havaianas Top flip flop. I am a 39/40 in the Top and a 37/38 in these. They do run narrow, bizarrely narrow in my opinion. If your feet are on the wider side I would pass on these. The cushioning is nice overall and much thicker than the Luna. However the strap that wraps around the top of my foot is uncomfortable and chafes badly. I have to literally unstick it from my foot after wearing them. If you have a high instep I would not recommend these. I chose them to walk at the beach because of the stability they provided as opposed to a traditional flip flop.

I was so delighted with this new style of Havainas Flash Urban Flip Flops. They stay on and are very comfortable. The sole is flesh pink and the straps are a metallic rose. It's a very neutral color. I wore these to at a wedding reception with a long pink and coral pastel spring gown. Great to dance in!
