Seacamp II CNX (Toddler/Little Kid/Big Kid)

Super stinky! My 6yo has only been wearing these for a couple weeks and the smell is horrendous. I don't think we will be able to keep them. She has had Keens in the past and never experienced this problem before. I suppose it is possible her foot chemistry changed but I'm inclined to think it is something about this shoe model? Not sure what to do about it. They fit great, look great - as usual - but the smell is unbearable.

They are as great quality and durability as the other Keen sandals, but they run smaller than expected. Keen usually runs a little big and I thought I knew how to size appropriately, but the size 2 in these was smaller than our Keen Moxie size 1, if that helps you with sizing.

We have been buying kids Keens for summer for at least the last 5 years. I have 2 girls and where we live it is summer shoe weather for at least 8-9 months. Our Keens have been so well made that they are easily passed down between them, and the second wearer is just as comfy as the first. My kids have narrower feet, so we had been buying the Whisper style, but this year my younger daughter fell between the size 12 and size 1 whisper styles I had put aside so I needed to fill the gap. We chose this new style in the bright rose raya because the profile of the sole was a little lower and it was styled more like a sneaker (and the color was awesome). The kids whisper style has only a zip pull at the top of the shoe to adjust the tightness; this shoe has a hook and loop strap around the ankle and a smaller zip pull, which I think provides more stability at the ankle and allows for a more comfortable fit. The ankle strap is on this shoe is similar to the toddler size styling of the whisper sandal. I originally ordered this in a 13, as that was the size that was in between the pairs I already owned in the other style, but when we received it, it just barely fit my daughter in length. Zappos was awesome and immediately sent out the next size up and we received it within 2 days. The size 1 fit better with a little room to grow, but were smaller than the same size in the whisper, thus my reason for scoring them as "half size smaller than marked". My daughter put these on and had no break-in time or rubbing and now wears them constantly. They are airy and sturdy and are great for outdoor activities since her toes are protected. I would definitely buy this style again!

My very picky ten year old loves this shoe! She has a very narrow heal and a low arch, so comfortable shoes aren't easy to come by. Great for school and summer.

I buy these for my daughter every year, and this is our 7th season in a row with the Keens. The Seacamp in particular is lighter and leaner than some of the other styles. It’s super easy to put on, easy to wash, dries fast and holds up well. My younger daughter wears the hand-me-downs and they are still in excellent condition.
