OK I should have listened to one of the reviews listed here on Zappo's , I got these shoes on April 5, 2019 and the shoes soles are worn down like I have been wearing them for a year, and it's April 22, 2019 Sorry not worth the money, unless you walk on rugs all day, I wish I had my money back but Zappo's has been real good to me in the past, so I will live with it.

These are some of the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. They look nice and provide excellent arch support. Buyer should be aware that this style does run large; I wear an orthotic insert and still had to go down a half size. One feature I like is that the top eyelet is a kind of closed hook which holds the lace fast - I don't feel the need to double-tie, as I do with most shoes. The material and construction are good and solid, and the soles are extra thick, which I like, though some may find them a little clunky. This is the second pair of this make and style I've worn, the first from Zappos - very happy with their service and the quality of their shoes.

I, too, should have listened. I do not wear these shoes daily. When I do wear these shoes, it is for about 4 hours in a day and I am walking on a driveway, walkways, lawn and then the interior of a home. I can actually notice the wear on the soles from one wearing to the next. I bought these to replace a similar looking pair of Rockport shoes that are no longer in production. There is absolutely no comparison between the quality of these and that of Rockport shoes.
