Review for Zappos VIP Points (What's this?)
Incredible Comfort – Worth Every Penny! I recently purchased the Brooks Glycerin 23 from Zappos, and I couldn’t be happier with both the shoes and the shopping experience. As always, Zappos delivered quickly and the ordering process was seamless. The Glycerin 23 is hands down one of the most comfortable running shoes I’ve ever owned. The cushioning feels soft and plush without being overly squishy, and it provides excellent support on longer runs. I noticed an immediate difference in how my feet felt — even after several miles, there was no soreness or fatigue. The fit is true to size, with a roomy toe box and a secure heel that keeps everything locked in place. The upper material is breathable and flexible, making the shoe feel lightweight despite the generous cushioning. Whether you're a daily runner, training for a race, or just looking for a super comfortable walking shoe, I highly recommend the Brooks Glycerin 23. I’ll definitely be purchasing another pair in the future!

Really love the Glycerin 23! Every bit as good as the Glycerin 22. No noticeable difference.

I love this style shoe, but as a women with wide feet, most of the styles I like best are unavailable. It would be nice if men's shoes were made in smaller sizes or their were more wide with options for women

Review for Zappos VIP Points (What's this?)
After reading reviews, I covered my bases and ordered the Glycerin 23s in 9 (my usual 1/2 size larger than shoe size) and 9.5 because some people felt the shoe ran small and sizing up was a good choice. My usual size was indeed too small. It felt like my big toe was cramped, but it also felt like the toe box was narrower. My toes felt a little numb after walking around the house for a short time. So I put those aside and tried on the shoes that are 1/2 size larger than my usual Glycerin size. They felt roomier, of course, but the fit was off. I felt like my foot was not sitting right in the shoe. I did not feel secure. So I put those aside as well. They are both going back (Thank you, Zappos, for continuing to make shopping as low stress as possible. Never change.) I am very disappointed in Brooks. I have worn Glycerins going back to the 12s. I felt confident ordering the same size and style every year, sometimes 2 pair, because they fit perfectly and never caused any issues. Why they decided to change the sizing of this shoe is a complete mystery to me. They made the best cushioned running shoe on the market for older runners, but they don't any longer. I bought a pair of Hoka Bondi 9s that are great. I will be trying a few other brands, but I'm done with Brooks.
