Beautiful pull up leather and supple. Looks nice and feels nice. Though not as high quality as the Wolverine Thousand Miles boots. These are about 100 bucks cheaper though. At the time that I ordered these there were two brown color listed for this boot at zappos ("brown" and "brown leather"). I ordered both to compare. They are the same (although the color is a tad different on zappos photo). The difference is stack leather on the heel. I believe the "brown leather" is newer and has the modified rubber heel. I usually wear size 8.5E. These boots run really narrow. I ordered different boots from Red wings, Frye and Wolverine. Regardless of the size these were the narrowest. Size 9D of Wolverine Kilometer was even narrower than 8D from other brands. Overall not bad. If you can save a bit more money and get the Wolverine thousands miles on sale that worth it.

I wear an 11 usually, and paying attention to other reviews bought a 10 1/2 which fits perfectly. I bought these in January 2016, and am writing this review 9 months later. About the same time I bought a pair of Red Wing Iron Rangers, so I can do a little compare and contrast. The Wolverine break in period is several to 5-6 days before the boots start feeling comfortable. They look good on the foot, and get a lot of compliments. The Iron Rangers were comfortable right off, but are not nearly as good looking a boot (no compliments). I have been very pleased with the Wolverines in general, except for a disturbing sole separation issue. After normal wear over the last 9 months (worn 3-4 times a week) the sole began to separate at the front of the shoe. I have found other reviewers on other sites that have indicated this has happened to them as well. No idea what percentage, but it's something to be aware of. You may need to get the boot repaired sooner than you expect. The Iron Rangers on the contrary have had absolutely no issues. Still, I really like the Wolverines.

Tan Leather color looks great. It's a little redish.. but not unusually red. You knjow how some leather sometimes has that reddish undertone? Anyways, beautiful shoe, I wish it had a little more support in the sole, but other then that I think i'm going to keep these!

I'm pretty much always a 7.5, I had to go up a size in these. The 8's fit well. Both the 7.5's and the 8's came distressed, I was aware they will get a worn in look easily as stated in the video, I just wasn't expecting them to come that way. The 7.5's markings I could have lived with if the boots had fit. I loved the look otherwise, and that they are waterproof, but I couldn't get over some of the markings on the 8's.

Gorgeous quality shoe but didn't work for me. I got plenty of length from the 8 1/2 but with my high instep and slightly wider front foot, they were just too snug through the toe box. Might have worked, just, with bare feet. But I like to wear socks with my boots in the colder months, and even a lightweight style made it tight. Ladies, if your foot runs narrower, these might be for you.

Slim fit in width; I also imagined these would be work boots, but were more like a hybrid, work & dress. But nice shoes if you have small, slender feet.

I've had these boots for almost two years now and I cannot recommend them enough. They are an absolute throwback to when boots were masculine, functional, and made to last. They look great with jeans, esp. cuffed selvedge denim IMO; chinos; or wool dress slacks in the winter. The leather sole has held up well, and gives them a dressier feel when needed than the comparable Chippewa version. They're obviously pricey, but you truly get what you pay for. Take care of them and they will last for years and years.

This is my husband's second pair of these boots. They are great for his casual/professional life and all of the walking he does. They do, as other review noted, wear down in the heel quickly but rest of shoe is very well made and these look stylish without being strange.
