The shoe lacks good arch support, so I added a third party insole appliance. Basically it is what you come to expect from a steel toe shoe; hot, unconformable, and tiring. On the good side it isn't as ugly as most work shoes.

I bought these as a general purpose barn boot. Basic manual labor. I also wanted something that would fit in a stirrup and allow me to ride periodically when working horses. This does both very well. All day comfortable and exactly the size they are labeled.

Great feeling shoe. No break-in needed. Lightweight for a work shoe so legs don't get so tired from pounding the concrete all day. True to size. If this shoe holds up as good as Wolverine work shoe # SR1517 I will be making this my choice for future purchases. SR1517 has a replaceable insole which is definitely a plus so that it can be replaced when it becomes compressed from heavy wear. I will let you know in a year if the Zeus work shoe is as good or better than #SR1517. I have been wearing SR1517 for at least ten years and the only reason I decided to buy the Wolverine Zeus is because it was cheaper. I am a month into the trial, will let you know how it goes.

Nice boot - A little more money than I wanted to spend, but I am happy with what I received - a good quality boot. New, they're a little tough to pull on, requiring a thinner sock. But I have plenty of room with my shoe size and they are very comfortable, even new.

Great Work Boot - This boot has exceeded my expectations. Having worn Wolverine work boots for 20+ years the Harrison has been comfortable from day 1. There was no painful break-in period, just the same as with all my other Wolverine boots. The GORE-TEX lining is a welcomed addition.

Wolverine Raider - I own several pairs of Wolverine boots and shoe's and I'm happy with them all. This pair offers more arch support and comfort making them my new favorites. My only complaint is the lacing system; I would rather have loops all the way up with no hooks.

Average Boot - Shoe fits well. Desired Width. Unfortunately boot has issues with shoe laces loosening up. Even double knotted the boot becomes loose and uncomfortable.

Wolverine's Marcum Slip-On Steel Toe - The shoe looked good on the website, but looks even better when it came. Although the shoe fits okay, it is not as wide as I thought it would be for an extra-wide, but it is better than Nike-wide. It is also not as long as Nike sizing, so order a half size larger at least. They feel like Doc Martins, but don't look as clumsy as those. Overall, I love these shoes and recommend them to anyone. It doesn't cut your ankles, like other shoes do to me, and they look great. I wear them as my casual wear shoes now. The only thing I would have changed is that they have some red stitching on the back that I didn't notice in the pictures. You can hardly see them if your pants are sized right.

Comfort & Support - I have worn the Wolverine Dura Shock soles in work shoes and Wellington boots and I've been well pleased with the support and comfort. The Marcum slip-on is no exception. I am an ex-firefighter with permanent injuries, including one to my right foot. I'm retraining in the Culinary field and our lab days are long and active. The look is OK, generic compared to my Red Backs, but I can wear the Marcum all day, whereas, a couple of hours in the Red Backs or Carolinas is painful. They run a bit snug in the EE sizes. The non-slip sole works well in the kitchen. Great kitchen work shoe, Wolverine needs to be aggressive with marketing these to restaurant employees as they are perfect for the back and front of the house use. I'll definitely buy the Marcum again.

Scrambler - I've owned 2 pairs of this boot. I'm a tender foot so I need a comfortable boot. This is the best boot I've ever owned. Dura shock system and I can walk on concrete all day. I like the fact that bottom is not deep lugs, less dirt being drug into house.

Comfort and Quality...Unbeatable Combination - I've worn boots for 35+ years and have been through all the name brands and claims of the most comfortable blah, blah, blah but you haven't felt comfort right out of the box until you've put on a pair of these boots...the only word I can come up with to describe them is awesome. Nice Work Boot! Great looking work boot. The size was half size larger than marked but thicker socks took care of that. I work on a construction site and these boots have protected my feet from the inherent peril associated with my job. Traction is good in wet conditions and the water resistant leather is a plus for rainy conditions here.

These Wolverine Outlaw boots are sweet! These are my fourth pair of Wolverine boots in the last 13 years. These particular boots are by far the best boots I’ve ever bought. They are so comfortable, and the very first time you put them on you will instantly know they are the ones. There is really no break-in period, and I know from experience they will last for years. They also look terrific & stylish. They are quick to put on & quick to come off. Perfect boot for work & or everyday use. Compliments will follow you! I'm planning on ordering another of the same for the year 2012 or later!

Quality is disappointing - I bought this boot for work at a store. I wear these boots approximately 2 days per week in an environment that is not particularly harsh. After 10 days, the boot's uppers began to come unstitched. The local dealer replaced the boots. Now, after about 60 days, one of the lacing lugs has broken off and the local dealer says he can't help me. I found the boots very comfortable with easy break-in. However, the quality of construction and materials used seems to be very lacking. I am reluctant to recommend this boot.

Best Boots EVER - These boots were well worth the money. They are super comfortable and the leather is really soft. I would recommend these to anyone standing on their feet all day. Did I mention incredibly fast shipping?! Had my boots in less than 24hrs. from the time I ordered them!

EXCELLENT SHOES!!! I just got these shoes today! I tried them on and walked around my carpeted condo and didn't want to take them off (a little insane if you live in Hawaii! My cat started giving me a funny look like, "What are you doing with shoes on in the house?!” So I had to take them off.) They look so cool and feel like gloves on my feet! If you're thinking about getting these shoes, stop thinking and just click "Add to Shopping Cart"!!! I can't wait for my next outing so I can wear them. Thanks Zappos, you're the best!!! Great Shoe, Funny Sounds - Wonderfully comfortable shoe. Air cushioned soles are great if you're on your feel a lot. Also great casual look. Downside, until they're broken in, the insoles make funny whooshing sounds when you walk, plus the soles make horrible squeaking sounds on polished floors.

Wow, this shoe is well built and comfy! I am very impressed with this shoe. I had purchased it to replace the Propéts Galway Walkers, also a comfortable shoe. These are more solidly built and a bit heavier. I'd say the Galway Walker shoe, which I do like, has a more flimsy feel compared to these. If you wear a uniform, this is a top-notch slip on for work.

Hardworking Carpenter in CO Needs Waterproof Boots - These are one of two pairs of work boots we bought for my husband. He has been wearing them on and off for two weeks to work in wet, chilly conditions and so far so good! We ordered them in wide. They fit well right out of the box, no break in.

Walking on clouds - The Wolverine Neptune shoes are without a doubt the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned. I bought my first pair of Neptunes a few years ago and they saved my feet. My feet were always in pain and no other shoes ever gave me the comfort and support I needed. I've been wearing the Neptunes ever since and my feet do not hurt anymore.

Split sole - I purchased these shoes a few years ago, despite a review reporting that the soles of these shoes split too easily. Well, guess what? The sole on the left shoe split wide open within about a year of (infrequently) wearing these. They looked nice and were otherwise comfortable, but given my experience and others' with the soles splitting, we have to conclude that there is probably a design defect. Do not buy them, guys.

Great shoe. This shoe is very comfortable. Excellent for those that are on their feet for long hours, the soles are very well padded, and keep your feet and back ache free. The fit seems to be true to size, and the look is classic. Nothing flashy, but great for work or paired with khakis or jeans for a casual evening out. I hope this style stays with us; it’s hard to find this kind of comfort. The Mars Oxfords were discontinued, so I’m hoping these will be available in the future.
