Overall:

I just received my Victorinox Down Vest, very nice looking and very light weight. I am not sure how warm it is going to keep me, but I did not want a bulky vest and this seems to fit the bill. The online description states "Zippered hand pockets for storage", the pockets do not have any zipper closures, only a small hanging clasp in the right pocket I suppose for your keys and there are no inner pockets either. After a week in New York I will update this review with the warmth factor!

I travel to Asia and other parts of the world 6-8 times a year and have an earlier version of this bag. It is worth the money to buy from this company because my luggage has been through some very bad stuff and has held up very well. I have watched this bag slide across a wet, greasy runway in Beijing, dragged by evil bag handlers in Mongolia, and once even had a vat of Thai fish sauce poured upon it in the luggage hold of Thai airlines. It took some time to get the smell out of the bag from that last experience, but I still use it. Remarkably. The up and down side to buying the red: it holds up well, you can always see it coming down the luggage chute and it does look a bit more stylish than black. The down side is that you do see more dirt and grime than on a black bag. My bag has had the zipper tags yanked off of at least one of each of my bags (I have three of these Victorinox in various sizes), but there usually is two per zipper so I always have one tab that is functioning. After 9 years I now have to replace the largest bag because it is too nasty to continue on (and I get weird looks from bell hops that don't want to touch it anymore; can't blame them). I am buying the newer version of this because it has been such a great piece of luggage and has a remarkable amount of room. Plus, despite weather and foreign substances frequently attacking it, my clothes usually are dry and protected when I open it . I recommend buying from this company, especially now that they have resolved the issue of the single stem handle. The double stem (as with this bag) allows you to hook another bag on it without the second bag flipping over off the stem. Highly recommend. Worth the money.

Overall:

Perfect Size, Perfect Companion - I am very pleased with my new bag. It is the perfect size to throw over the shoulder and head out for the day at the market or a night at the bars. I would recommend this to everyone who wants a bag to hold your wallet, keys, camera, etc. w/o having to resort to a big clunky messenger/computer bag.

Red - Cosmetic Bag - This travel case arrived in two days, excellent service - the case was exactly what I had hoped it would be - well built and just the right size to hold all my make-up and accessories in one case, also the colour of the case was a red that will match my suitcases... Zappos has the best variety of merchandise and service.
