About Timberland

In 1973 Timberland built their original yellow boot. It was a rugged, durable, waterproof leather boot made for cold, wet weather. The boot went on to become both the icon and name of the brand, symbolizing a heritage of authenticity and quality.  Today, Timberland is as premium and durable as ever, bringing new style, performance and green elements to both footwear and apparel.

In Spring 2016, Timberland continues along the Modern Trail, inspired by the Wharf District- a place where old and new exist in seamless harmony admist the unpredictable weather. From work to play, day to night, sun to rain, our products adapt—empowering outdoor life stylers with the style and versatility they need to blaze the modern trail.

For men, spring brings a great mixture of leather and waxed canvas, fresh twists on transitional outerwear, boots and chukkas – to classic boat shoes and a new range of sandals rugged enough to go anywhere. Along with continuing to expand their Sensorflex™ comfort technology into new collections like the Amherst.

The women’s collection features a variety of transitional chelsea, chukka and booties. Their new sandal collection is more versatile than ever— ranging from fishermans and gladiators to chunky heeled wedges. Whatever the weather, whatever the occasion, she’ll be ready and looking great.

I like these boots very much. I've gotten a bunch of compliments. They're very stylish and well made and just really look and feel good. I gave the comfort eating a 4 because the few times that I've worn them for over 8 hours my feet were sore after but that's expected when you wear any footwear other than a sneaker.

Just recently bought these boots last week! These boots are the most comfortable boots that I have! The style is great! The reason for buying these boots is that I walk around quite a lot, especially in cold weather. Unlike most shoes I wear these ones do not show any scraping at the heel which is great! These are probably the most durable boots I have ever had. I recommend these boots for people who are wanting comfortable footwear and who walk around a lot. Since buying these boots, I have fallen in love with them that I just can't stop wearing as its comfortable. All my life after wearing mostly dress shoes and not enough comfy footwear. I do prefer to wear these boots at the end as I want walk around in something comfortable and durable.

As a farmer in Georgia, I put lots of miles and wear and tear on my work boots. My last Timberland lasted a good year which I consider great since I really work in my work boots!

I ordered this because it came in wide--it is not really a wide. The boot was narrow, more like a standard medium width. The seams and edges were stiff and scratchy. It's a brushed leather finish though it doesn't say that in the description. Even if it were wide enough it felt uncomfortable.

I have worn Timberland boots in wide width for many years, unfortunately this latest model while described as wide fitting is actually closer to regular width.

I really wanted this clean style boot to fit, but it's "wide" is more standard. got a 7.5 Wide, but felt like a 7 standard. Beware that Timberland's really run narrow.

Not the first pair of these I've gotten for my son. He wears them nearly constantly throughout fall, winter and part of spring. They are wonderful.

I ordered these boots in the dark brown 7.5 W and the tobacco 7.5 M. The medium width was wider than the wide width. I am assuming a different vendor makes each color. It was weird. Love the boots though.

Your Timberland White Ledge Mid is a great looking boot and I thought I had found the perfect style with that choice, but my feeling was hurt when I found out it did not come in black. Timberland has a large selection of stylish hiking and work boots but a small number in black.

Sadly, too narrow and had to be returned because I did not pay attention to the reviews. I do not have wide feet so I ordered a regular, but did not realize they meant calf size which was too narrow for me.
