Comfortable right out of the box! Purchased these shoes to wear sightseeing in Washington DC. They never needed to be broken in and were comfortable for miles and miles of walking. Timberland makes a good product.

My husband loves these shoes. He has very picky feet and hates laces, so it was difficult finding something that was comfortable and a slip-on. Timberlands always fit the bill. He can wear these straight out of the box and walk for hours. They're also great for trips because he can wear them for site-seeing, dust them off, and wear them with a suit.

Timberland Earthkeepers 6" Leather Boot - This pair of boots feels and looks great, I just got mine so I'm not sure how durable it's gonna be but these are more for light duty. It has a soft sole (although it doesn't seem like it in the photo) gave it a pinch and wondered if it would hold up but they do flex as you move with it pretty good. As they've said no break-in required, really comfortable out of the box and definitely looks good with jeans or khakis (got mine in black). I normally wear a size 9 1/2 followed the review and ordered a half size smaller and it was still big so I returned it and ordered an 8 1/2...still not right, finally ended up ordering a size 8 and at last got it to fit perfectly. So all in all if you like ordering stuff online like I do, I strongly suggest to order at least a full size smaller, so if you do have to exchange it still at least you only have to do it once and not twice like I did or you could test fit it first at your local shoe store. Overall experience with Zappos has been great, they have real good customer service, and I couldn't be happier with their shipping process. I'd definitely come back here again!!!

These shoes are incredibly comfortable - they felt tight at first around the ring, but then loosened. However, the material around the footbed that is supposed to make it look like cork began peeling off after the first day of use! I don't want to return them b/c they are cute and comfortable, but be aware that you might have to use glue to keep the edges looking OK.

Very cute, versatile casual shoe. Also comfortable, except for some reason they rub a blister on the top of my right foot. Only the right foot - the left is fine. I typically wear a 5-6; bought these in a 5.5 and that worked great. They do seem a tiny bit big. Not a full size big, but if you have narrow feet, they might be too wide. Only the straps are wide - the footbed is true to size. Would probably work well if you have a high arch.

With a friend's help, I bought a pair of these in black...Where I live they only carry tan and brown! The first wear was a bit uncomfortable as my feet swelled up in the heat here, but since then they've been very comfortable. I have to walk quite a bit for work (5-7 km/day) so I need something solid but I don't want to wear my trainers every day. They look great and give my feet the comfort and style I need!

I was disappointed that these shoes were so narrow, even though I ordered a wide. My foot is not wide, but my little toe was hanging off the side of this shoe. Cute, comfortable shoe with a heel, but a BIG disappointment on the width.

OMG! These are the best boots I have ever owned. Outstanding in wet cold weather and do not need breaking in. Walked all over Boston the first week I owned them. Amazing, bought two colors and both get used frequently. I have little feet and slim calves, they work well for me.

These shoes look so freakin' good, and yet they fell apart with three months of city wear. The soles wore down an inch in the first month (no joke), and the rest of the boot was soon to follow. I wish Zappos had a durability rating - these are very comfortable and extremely good looking with any pant you wear...but unless you're treating these with the utmost care, they are very, very badly made. Incidentally, the first run of these boots had a design flaw (not sure if it's fixed or not) - the sole is actually two separate pieces glued together. Within the first two weeks, the flaps on one boot came undone (making them wag like an open mouth when I walked), and I had to exchange them for a new pair. Timberland was happy to accommodate, saying they had had a number of returns. The same problem occurred on my new pair about two months later. Little Shoe-Goo solved it, but come on. I expect better.

Perfect hiking shoe - but order a half size larger - Hi this shoe is incredibly light & durable & perfect for hiking. And stylish enough to be seen in public (even off the trails)! I'm a 7.5 and ordered that first. That was too small in the front of the shoe - so I bumped it to a size 8 and its perfect so consider ordering a half size larger.

House & Garden Shoes - Love these for tooling around the house, garage & garden. The heels is made out of material that you can step on so you can wear these like a clog or pull them over your heel to wear like a shoe. Nice and warm and good grip on wet surfaces. Nice product from Timberland & Smartwool!

Thank you to Timberland for making a wide sandal that is elegant and comfortable. However, if you try to order the similar looking sandal with the cork bottom, you'll find that it is not as wide as this model.

Since I normally do not wear shoes with heels over 2 inches, these sandals were a big risk for me. I am glad that I took the chance. These sandals are amazingly comfortable and well balanced. The styling is so cute that these shoes go well with anything.

Great boot but runs a half size small. I'm returning my 10's for 10 1/2. Strange as Timberland is fairly consistent in their sizing. I've bought 3 pairs of Timberland boots in last 2 years and all 10's fit perfect - not these. Zappos, of course, is fantastic.

I liked these well enough to buy two pair. I don't think these are are a true D width more like a C but they were wide enough that I kept them and have worn them quite a bit. Pretty comfortable.

I like these shoes. They're not going to stay pretty easily, but they clean up easily with a stiff brush. The strange arch feeling other reviewers report is support that crosses the whole foot, supporting the plantar fascia on the bottom of your foot. I find them quite comfortable, and they seem to be holding up well.

These shoes were great! I was so impressed with the overall style, that I purchased both colors! They are comfortable, lightweight, and very breathable. They can be work with or without socks, and can either be worn dressy or casual. I am a size 14, and comfort and durability is a must. Very comfortable driving shoe. The sole is a bit stiffer than most shoes of this type, but it provides a bit more support & cushioning for walking. The leather is a bit stiff as well. These will need a bit of break-in, but should be tough enough to last a long time. The shoe feels about a full size larger than marked, but once I found the right size, they fit well.

These are comfortable and very stylish. I love a flat that is well constructed and has a good non-slide sole, and this one is great. There isn't a lot of inside support, but the rubbery sole offers a cushioned step. Great with summer skirts or cropped pants.

Is 2 years truly durable? I bought these shoes for myself and my husband exactly two years ago, and they are worn out. We only wear them to walk the dogs, about two miles per day. They are comfortable, stay clean looking (I have these suede ones, my DH, leather), and are good on somewhat rugged terrain. Am in the market for new shoes and don't know if I would purchase again.
