I love this boot. I recently broke my pinkie toe and have not put any boots or shoes on in a few months. I was a little nervous putting this on my foot but it was SO comfortable! The leather forms to your foot and the rubber on the bottom is great for traction. The only thing I wasn't 100% happy with was that it’s the type of leather that scratches and scuffs very easily. And I'm not sure which leather product would be best to get the scuffs out. I purchased the taupe color which is a great color.

I ordered these in black for work to replace an awesome (looking) pair of Florsheim zipper boots that have waaay too much arch support for me. I usually wear Chucks or Vans, so my feet are accustomed to a flat sole. There was some anxiety when I received them and put them on to find they had an even more "forced" arch than the Florsheims. The good news is that they come with floating insoles, so you can take them out. This was actually a little sad because the insoles are really beefy, plushy, and well-made, but I had to do it, and now the shoes are feeling perfect. I guess the other good news is that if you need arch support, the insoles will provide, no questions asked. The shoes look awesome, the construction is flawless, they look great with both slacks and jeans, and I’ll probably try ‘em with shorts in the summer. Just a great looking, really comfortable, solid shoe. They are burnished, so it’s smooth and sealed, but not glossy leather, but throw some mink oil on the toes and they gleam just enough to catch the eye without being pretentious. Zappos shipping, as always, was ridiculously fast. I ordered these at about 10pm on Wednesday and received them Friday afternoon. Hands down, 5 stars, for both the Timberlands and Zappos. Well done.

I hate to say it, but I hate these boots. I have never been in so much pain while walking to work. I hunted for these forever and waited patiently for my size to come in; I thought these would be perfect for Chicago winters. It is so hard to find a cute water proof boot. So size 9s were not in, but I wanted them so bad I went for a 9.5. I was glad I did. Usually I wear a 8.5-9, but I wouldn’t want them any smaller than the 9.5. Walking outside to catch the train I lasted all of 4 minutes before my heels were bleeding and blistered. I am really not exaggerating here. The heel is so tough, even with thick socks on they cut me deep! I love the way these look and they seem super warm, but due to the blisters, I have not been able to walk in regular shoes an entire week. I took them for a spin around the apt. hoping I could jump into the 8in of snow we had this morning and cringed in pain while walking around brushing my teeth. As cute as these are, I cannot bear to walk in them.

These shoes took a little getting used to after putting them on when I bought them the first time. I actually bought these due to them being 'waterproof'. It was to an extent but when the water went past the toe, that was the end of it. My feet got wet. Just a heads up for those looking for waterproof boots, these aren’t them.

I bought this recently, my type of work force me to wear a formal dress suit most of the day, these shoes goes perfect with the suit as well as with casual dress after work, easy to break in and the rubber outsole make you enjoy walking since I always choose rubber outsole or a combination of leather and rubber. I vouch for these choice.

Great boot, arrived fast, fit great. They are a bit hard to get on and off, but not too bad. They are mostly water proof. Make sure to buy them small. I wear a 10 in almost all other shoes, but I bought a 9 in these that fits great.

I bought these boots for my husband who likes to wear boots EVERY day. The style is awesome and very unique looking, almost like a manta ray. The only thing is that the inner sole is not like the usual Timberland boots, thus making his feet smell.

I have a small, wide, high arch foot and a muscular leg. Very difficult to find boots that fit and are comfortable. I am a 5.5 Wide and I purchased a 6 Wide. They are comfortable and I can put jeans in or over. I bought them to bring to New Hampshire to do winter sports. I am here and it is very cold averaging about 17 degrees and they are also warm and I do not wear heavy socks, I love them.

I have been wanting these boots for months. Tried a pair on at the Sundance Film Festival in Utah and bought them in the golden wheat color. Wore them the entire next day in total comfort. Easy on and off at the airport. Amazing comfort and fit was true to size. I think the trick to comfort for these boots is ordering them a half size larger and wearing thicker socks. I felt no rubbing at all and I have "lived" in these boots. Just ordered a 2nd pair from Zappos in dark brown and know that I will be thrilled with them! A big plus: they are on sale and look so cute on! My friend, who doesn't believe in spending much on shoes said she would definitely buy these after seeing and trying on mine.

I love these boots! They are very comfortable and look great. They also keep my feet pretty warm in the cold weather. Not very much traction, need to be careful on slippery surfaces.

I do love these boots! I love the way these boots look and feel! They definitely run large by 1/2 size (order 1/2 size smaller than your normal size). I wore these boots every day on a week long trip to Paris. I walked miles in the rain and snow and they still look as good or better than when I got them. I highly recommend them!

I bought these for my 15 yr old son, and we both loved them. They’re stylish, well constructed, and the color was very rich. My son has wide feet, but he said the medium width was very comfortable. This shoe goes with everything!

FINALLY... a boot that is cute AND is actually built to be worn in winter weather! There is definitely something wrong with the construction of the heel and it took several indoor wears and short trips out to get them comfortable enough to wear for an entire day. The shearling lines the entire inside of the boot EXCEPT at the heel. I rubbed olive oil on the inner heel area several times to soften it and that worked. Fit true-to-size for me (7 1/2). I've found them to be comfortable at temps from teens to about 50. Can be worn under jeans or with pants tucked in and looks cute with skirts or dresses. Great traction too! I was worried they would be tough to get into without a side zipper, but they pull on quick and easy.

Love these boots. Just fashionable enough for jeans or leggings. Comfortable. Fit great! If you tend to have a hard time with tall zippered boots because of your calves being muscular, no worries with this boot!

I bought these unique darling boots in black a few days ago. I loved them so much I quickly ordered them in Wheat Nubuck before they sold out of my hard to find size. Yes they are a little stiff at the top, but I don't mind that at all. My normal shoe size is 9. I'm very glad I got these in 9.5 because I'm pretty certain a 9 in this boot would have been a bit too snug as the 9.5's fit just right. I'm already getting lots of compliments on my black ones. Thanks Zappos! Great customer service and superfast FREE shipping!

Great casual boots - look great with a denim or corduroy skirt. I often have trouble getting tall boots to fit my calves, but these slip right on no problem, could probably tuck in some skinny jeans. I can take these for a walk on icy/snowy Canadian sidewalks without slipping or falling.

About Timberland
The Timberland story begins in 1952, when Nathan Swartz buys part of the Abington Shoe Company. He learns how to make shoes, and starts working on ways to make them better. Timberland history was in the making in 1965 when the Swartz family introduced injection molding to the footwear industry and the first truly waterproof Timberland® leather footwear is born.
The Timberland mission is to equip men, women, and kids to make a difference in their world. Timberland does this by creating outstanding shoes, clothes, watches, and other accessories and by trying to make a difference in the communities where they live and work.
Timberland is a big company made up of a lot of small parts and incredibly talented people. They make boots, shoes, clothes, watches, and various gear that are comfortable enough to wear all day and rugged enough for all year. The people at Timberland don't rest on their accomplishments. If they did, they’d have only made one waterproof leather boot.
