I like the casual and simple elegance of Superga sneakers -- a real timeless shoe to work into any season. It\'s really cute with summer dresses or denim cut-offs as well as skinny or boyfriend jeans. I was originally going to order the women\'s sneaker, but they were out of stock, so I opted for the unisex model. Unlike some other reviews, I didn\'t feel that they were running large length-wise but rather in the width. I am usually a 40 or 41 (9.5 or 10 US) in shoes, and went with the 41, which gives me a bit of wiggle room in the toe box. However, I find myself having to tie the laces very tightly so that my feet are properly held in place. I don\'t have narrow feet, either, so I would definitely recommend avoiding the unisex style for those ladies who wear a A width or narrower. The shoes are fairly comfortable and haven\'t caused any blistering or hotspots, though I\'ve worn them with black Superfeet orthotics for added arch support.

I loved the look of these, but they're short and narrow. I wear a 9.5 or 10, and I ordered the W because I'm always sort of borderline between M and W. They were too tight, with no stretch. I didn't try another size because they also didn't have a lot of give--just a big fat flat inflexible sole.

Classy shoe (for a sneaker) and love being able to throw them in the washer! As for fit, I don't wear socks except in the winter with boots. My normal closed-toe shoe size is 8.5, I wear an 8 with open toe shoes. I read reviews that these run a bit long, so I opted to order a half size down. That was the right thing to do. Just the right amount of wiggle room without being too loose or sloppy. If you wear socks, depending on the sock weight, you might have to stay true to your size. They are very flat and there isn't much arch support so I bought insoles, however, still comfy without them. Overall, comfortable, washable, good-looking with boyfriend and skinny jeans. A classic purchase.

I like it - These shoes are pretty sweet. I was looking for a shoe that was versatile and sporty, but that could also be dressed up. They aren't too tight, but when you wear them, you find out that they're not actually all that wide either. The extra room (I wear an 8) prevented blisters I think. These are an awesome alternative to Converse and they're not associated with the trashy punk rock look. Don't get me wrong, Converse is versatile, too, but it sometimes has that nasty implication. I also prefer this shoe because it has a canvas toe lining in lieu of a rubber one. Your foot feels free in this shoe. I gave four stars for comfort because it could use a little bit more arch support and 4 stars for look because in the US it isn't as recognized as in Europe. I think it's an excellent sneaker though and I highly recommend it. If you're considering the similar Lacoste version, go with this one. It's more timeless.
I'd also recommend: Nike

Bought these shoes to wear on a cruise to Greece and Turkey. Wore them with socks most days on our walking tours. Felt great on uneven payment and dirt. Looked good with my capri pants and longer shorts.

These are classic sneakers that will never go out of style. I wear a women\'s size 8, so I ordered the Euro size 39...there\'s a little bit more room around my toes than normal, but I laced them up tight & they were great. If I ever wanted to wear socks (probably won\'t) I will have plenty of room. Better to be roomy than tight. The first day I wore them I walked for hours and they were super comfortable...no wearing in necessary. I was so happy to find these on Zappos as they\'re Italian & hard to find in local stores in Los Angeles. Thanks Zappos!
